Short Bio : Asiya was born deep in the mountains in the northern lands. It was a harsh land undergoing constant blizzards and freezing temperatures. She had been the product between the unholy mating of a Snow Demon and a Harpy, a sort of experimental birth. She'd grown up slowly and hadn't shown much promise making them think she....the experiment was a failure. They left her to her own devices, an outcast, an undesirable. Feared by humans and hated by her kin, she fled the mountains and spent many years wandering the lands. Eventually powers of a sort began to emerge and she'd found travel and surviving so much easier. Before long she'd begun to hear rumors of a school that had become a haven to outcasts. Hoping these rumors were true she made her way to Taunton Academy. It has been three years since she has entered the academy and she began to notice the effects the school was having on her and yet she could not bring herself to leave. her fear and paranoia of the outside world far outweighing her fear of the school and it's grounds....then again perhaps it was the insanity that had taken her over that was making her think that way.

Short Bio : 
Emilie is the only daughter to Stewart and Lilias Ravenhurst. Stewart's family was wealthy, but he estranged himself from the lot of them when he fell in love with Emilie's mother, sealing his fate the day he decided to marry her. They disapproved of the woman and her lowly background and hated the fact that she'd gotten herself pregnant with Emilie out of wedlock. Being cut off, Stewart didn't know how to fend for himself and as a result resorted to drinking to calm the tensions though it only caused difficulties on the home front over time. Lilias worked as a waitress at two different jobs to make ends meet, one of them being at a strip club. This caused only more issues at home and eventually Stewart started taking out his aggressions on his daughter. Due to her home life, Emilie tended feel like her life was in shambles. As a result, she resorted wrist banging and anorexia to find some semblance of peace and control. She also found herself becoming more and more OCD over things out of fear and worry. Emilie first realized she could 'phase' when she was about 8 years old and she fell out of bed, or rather, through her bed. She had accidentally fallen through her bed and the floor below her causing a stir. Her father punished her, thinking she'd gotten out of bed and after that incident she worked on perfecting the strange and scary ability. Now, at the age of 19, Emilie has learned how to control her ability decently well and has learned that she cannot phase through lead. She has also recently learned about the Taunton Academy and as a result has run away from home to attend it and stay away from her parents forever.

Julietta was the only daughter to Thomas and Caroline Roth, both of whom are now deceased due to an unfortunate accident where they were killed in a car accident when she was just a small child. She was then placed into the foster care system, bouncing from home to home until she was finally ousted and told she had no choice but to fend for herself. She had been fortunate that one foster home had been wealthy and thought it appropriate that she been schooled in the art of both dance and music and as a result she learned ballet and piano. Being a fast learner, she learned quickly and continued to practice on her own whenever she was able--her means of escaping her harsh reality. As a result of her life and the fact that a majority of the homes she was placed in were abusive, she grew up having an odd perception of most things. She tended to daydream a lot on top of practicing dance and music to help her forget life for awhile, but in the end, she couldn't escape the paranoia. And it didn't help that she had the strange ability to manipulate water in its various forms--a gift she often times thought might be a test or a curse since she felt the need to hide what she could do. And so, the nightmares would always come and with that paranoia… the fear of discovery. As a result, she occasionally suffers insomnia and has a hard time making friends, though she longs for friends on a deep level and craves both touch and affection. When she learned of Taunton Academy, she jumped at the opportunity to attend, hoping that somehow it might help her sort out her issues and help her function better in society.

Short Bio : Celia does not remember much of her childhood. What she does recall are scattered memories of school and family. Her parents were lower class demons with almost no power to their name. Upon her birth she had been praised a miracle for them, looking completely human compared to them, until they realized she would not speak. They sent her to the best of everything they could afford. A boarding school was seen as the best choice, with the idea it would force her to speak. It was the day of her fourteenth birthday that she remembered the best. It was the day she thinks she woke up. It was the day she wiped out her entire family and learned she could hear voices coming from mirrors. At school she would get in trouble for standing in front of them and listening trying to pick out individual voices. The teachers had enough and kicked her out with no place to go she focused on mirrors. One voice liked to play a game, and she wanted to play. With one hand on the mirror, she forced herself through to the one voice and killed the human on the other side. The game continued for years till a legend was formed. Now to call her just say Bloody Mary three times and maybe she will pay you a visit, and if you are really lucky you will get to live to tell your story.

Short Bio : Mike grew up in a rough neighborhood, dominated by gang activity. Despite being clever and excelling academically, he fell for the allure of the fast life and fell in with one of the smaller gangs. He was a quick study and soon turned into their best infiltrators. He could break into almost any location unnoticed, gather his objective, and disappear with out anyone being the wiser. Unfortunately one of his jobs went awry and he broke into a house right in the middle of a tense confrontation between two of the major gangs. He was subsequently gunned down, but some force of will brought him back. His memory of those last few weeks is still a blank, and he remembers little outside of digging himself from a shallow grave. He's grown increasingly suicidal since his death as he's noticed he's begun to gradually lose all his physical sensation. Despite wanting to take advantage of his second chance at life as it were, he doesn't see the point of living if he can't feel anything.

Short Bio : Vis'karr's birth was an unusually bloody one, his poor mother dying in the throes of labor.The doctor who had facilitated the birth ran shrieking from the hospital when he gazed into the child's terrible, otherworldly eyes. Vis'karrs father had never been spoken of, his mother a favorite employee of a local brothel the boy was abandoned to an orphanage. Vis'karr was shifted from shelter to shelter until he was old enough to survive the cruelty of the world on his own. Vis'karr did not remember departing from the last home that had taken him in, he just remembered a long walk through the country, drenched in the blood of others. This vagabond existence continued until Vallios heard whisperings of the Taunton Academy. The dark past and darker secrets of the school called to Vallios, wicked energies nurturing his demonic soul.

Short Bio : Nesa is a "shojo" a water sprite with red hair and a love of Alcohol. Nesa was born in a small little colony of "Shojo's" and was raised as all younglings are raised, in the depths of a lake for the first couple decades of their life. Though a water sprite Nesa had never loved being in the water all that much and often dreamed of leaving the water to travel on land. After only a decade [plus a few years] nesa decided to leave her home and go out on her own. Taking with her only clothes [which she "found" in the woods] and a thing of rum she headed out into the world. She wandered dry land for several years before rumors of an academy harboring strange people and creatures reached her delicate ears. So with alcohol in hand she set out for the Academy.'

Extra's : Nesa' Doppelganger is just a doppelganger, an exact replica of Nesa in every way that everyone can see. The only difference between Nesa's Doppelganger and a regular Doppelganger is Nesa's doppelganger has inherited a part of Nesa's own personality, a part of her she never uses. Her and Her Doppelganger are one in the same person, Nesa's Doppelganger is just "Nesa" when she's not drunk.

Short Bio : Kevin grew up in a not so happy household, his father was a drunk that beat the shit out of his mother and him on a daily basis. His mother turned to drugs to ease her pain a bit but the drugs made the woman violent and she then turned on Kevin and began abusing him whenever she ran out of drugs and needed a fix. Even though he grew up with both parents around he was truly alone. When he turned 13 he was shipped off to military school so his parents didn't have to deal with him. The school was no walk in the park either, he was an outcast there not really ever fitting in or motivated to learn anything they tried to teach him. At the age of 18 he was kicked out of the school and sent back to his parents who welcomed him back by locking him in his room and not feeding him for weeks on end. They would also take turns beating on him to let out their aggression. Eventually Kevin set the whole house ablaze while angry leaving his parents to die inside the inferno. That night he learned about his powers to manipulate fire and also heal himself. After receiving a large burn across his chest he noticed the wound heal itself rapidly and within seconds his body was back to normal.

Short Bio : Born in shadow and flame, Succubi are the manifestations of sexual energy and avarice. At one point in Enora's infernal life she was primary consort to the Lord of Lust himself. Such a lofty position was nevertheless boring, Enora had no true power as a consort. Having grown disdainful of being nothing more than a toy Enora attempted to stage a coup and take the seventh circle for herself. The demoness was banished from the burning hells for her treachery, forced to walk the Earth. So far away from the sustaining glow of Hell, Enora has found that she will wither and die like a mortal. Drake is the son of an Incubus King and a storm dragoness. A deadly combination of the two he has the power of both of his parents. He can take on the form of one, most attributes of one, or even a combination of both. He's easily a few hundred years old. He was raised in the human world by his mother although his father was always there throughout his life. His mother's kin rejected him seeing him as a monstrosity. He was raised in the human world to keep his soul at least somewhat untainted by hell. It was all fun and games until his father died losing his life and well as his kingdom in a war. It was a devastating period but Drake lived on and it was then that he moved out and away from his mother. Drake knew he needed to reclaim his father's throne but being in the mortal world made him weak. He had not fully accepted his Incubus heritage. He wouldn't survive long in hell if he did not feed. Where better than an academy full of gifted females with an endless supply of energy to drain.
