"Ohh she wouldn't rip it off until she was done enjoying it shane. You know that. Lady Alix would never do anything to ruin her own pleasure."he said before his face clouded over, because he didn't want to even consider what he had to, before shaking off the thouht as he glared at his guard."Thank you, for mking me look like a idiot to our guest shane."He said before smiling shyly at phedrea."I am sorry. No, I can't blame you but I am not used to asking anyone to do anything instead of ordering them to come."

she huffed a little. "and that is why i think you are a stupid ass." she stated simply, Shane bursting into laughter at that as Phedra finished her meal and patted her lips clean. "but, since you went to such an effort, i will play for you. later. i must tend to mu Violin first. it is very difficult to keep Tuned." she admitted, with a faint smile. "like keeping a married woman happy i suppose... it is very temperamental." Shane was laughing at that.

"Why does everyone agree I'm a ass? There has to be some truth to it then."he said pouting a little, but glad that she was relaxing. Smiling a little he laughed, "And mistresses. Women in general. They are very hrd to keep happy."he stood bowing a little at the musican."If you have no need of me lady, me and shane have business to ttend to."he said before his eyes darkened with worry."Phedrea, I must ask you to not leave my suite of rooms. While I do not believe any would hurt you here, I know for sure no one will get into my rooms to harm you."

Phedra smirked a little. "well of course it's true. it has too be." she stated simply. "since i don't lie." she admitted simply as she lifted an eyebrow at the bow before narrowing her eyes at him. "you would ask me to deny my freedom?" "it's a dangerous place here Phedra..." "i have been in more dangerous places... but i do not need to earn my gold today since you are so... kind, as to give me free food and rooming." she muttered decidedly. "i will stay here, but i desire to go and play for the crowds tomorrow, with, or without you, i will go and play in the streets." she stated firmly before pulling the violin out of it's bag, and started cleaning it with a rag in some smelly polish. "go and do your business, i will not leave these rooms." she assured them. and just as promised, she was still there when they returned, taking a nap, the gleaming silver violin sitting elegantly in a chair as she shifted, blinking slowly. "have you returned? i was getting bored.."s he muttered, yawning as she rubbed her eyes.

Brandoin smiled tiredly as he walked into his rooms, looking at the voilin before smiling at her as he took in her sleepy appearance."You could have gone to bed phedre, had you wanted to."he said before smiling wider, trying to look less stressed then he was."I am done for the day, if that's what you're asking. I was thinking of going for a walk in the gardens, if you would care to join me."

she smiled a little and shook her head. "i did go to sleep." she admitted sleepily. "i just decided now would be a good time to wake up." she lied smiling a little as she slowly stood up and brushed out her clothes, humming happily. "i would enjoy seeing your gardens. it is said that the Garden of a King, is a glorious thing." she admitted with a small chuckle at her own wit, glancing at her Violin, hesitating before deciding to leave it there. it would be safe, especially with Shane crawling into bed right next door. "are you not tired? don't you need to sleep?" she asked, worried as she blinked at him. "would you like me to sing you a soothing song?"

Brandoin smiled slightly looking amused tht she was lying to him, but going with it before laughing softly."There are many glorious things about me, the garden is just one of them."He said sirking a little before sighing."I am, but I will not be able to sleep for a few hours yet. Enough time to show you downstairs to the gardens."Hesaid holding a arm out towards her to escort her downstairs.

she rolled her eyes about his egotistical statement. "there's nothing glorious about you,. just your things." she stated simply, looking amused as she took his arm. "well, if you are certain then." she decided, humming a little to herself as they walked, looking amazed as they stepped into the Garden, smirking as she bounced over to a flower, lifting it to her nose as she smelled it slowly, sighing a little. "your garden is beautiful!" she admitted, beaming at him. "i've never seen Flowers like these before!"

"There is everything glorious bout e."He said laughing a little before walking downstairs, looking amused as he watched her move around the gardens, sitting down on a bench with a tired sigh,"Thank you. Those are Namaah's star. I have a gardener from namaahave and another from kustheth, they are always arguing over the best way to breed the most perfect flower, and this was the result of their experiments."

she smirked a little and shook her head. "Gloriously normal maybe." she teased with a small chuckle, shaking her head a little as he settled onto a bench. "the most perfect flower." she smirked a little. "i will show you, the most perfect flower." she promised him, bending down and settling her hands on the dirt, closing her eyes as a low song fell from her lips. colors danced between her fingers before she removed her hands, and let him see her creation. it was pure white, and was only an inch tall with the stem. it had five curled petals, and long yellow 'strings' that poked out of the flower, and on each petal was a single black dot. it was... completely beautiful. "they only grow in arctic temperatures." she explained, smiling at him. "in the glaciers where there is no dirt, and no light... that is why they are perfect, because no other thing, flower, or creature, could live where they do."

"I am not normal."Brandoin said rolling his eyes before looking startled as she made the flower, getting up and moving over to her. Sitting on his heels as he crouched down in front of her, looking curious."Will it stay here? Now that you've made it now?"He said looking totally entranced, not only with the flower but with the casual display, and her voice.

she smiled a little as she watched him kneel down next to her, her head tilted a little. "yes, it will stay here now... but you should pile ice, or snow around it. it will get sick, and die if it get's too hot. have your gardeners pull it up very carefully, and submerse it in water with ice. it will hold itself up by sticking to the sides of the bowl." she admitted simply as she smiled at him. "you poor thing..." she muttered, touching his cheek. "you have lost all faith in the gods..." she shook her head. "i will help you find your faith again."

Brandoin looked thoughtful before moving to get up."I'll see to it."he said strtled as she touched him, leaning his face into her hand a little before standing, "There are no gods. Only extraordinary men."He said before standing and sending a servant for the ice and bowl wanting to make sure the precious flower didn't die.

she smiled a little. "there are gods... but why should they serve men who have no faith in them?" she asked curiously as she accepted the bowl of ice and water, gently slipping the flower out of the ground, carefully washing it's roots free of dirt before settling it carefully into the dish, humming as she arranged the roots just so. "the water mustn't get too warm. there must always be ice floating in the water." she ordered, smiling at him. "the more ice the better, and you must change the water every day., and it needs direct sunlight." she admitted simply, before standing as she studied him. "you are so... hurt, inside.."

"The did once, now....no one sees theirgods."Brandoin said watching her, smiling sotly s he watched her with the flower nodding a little."I shall make sure the gardeners check it all the time."he sid smiling at her before looking way when she studied him, "I amm not."He said turning away from her."We should go inside. I have a erly morning."He said starting for the door, disturbed at her observance.

she shook her head. "no. you see them. you just don't recognize them anymore." she stated simply, turning to blink at him. "why does your heart hurt so much Brandoin?" she asked softly. "what have the gods done to urn your hatred?" she asked, settling her hand onto his wrist. "come. we will sing you to sleep. you need rest." she ordered simply. "a King cannot best serve his people, if he's too dizzy with exhaustion to think straight."

Brandoin didn't look at her, flinching a little at the touch, but not shking her off as they walked."To many things."he said vaguely before moving to his room, smiling sleepily at the sight of his mistress sleeping in his bed, before looking t phedrea awkwardly."Gwen's here...if you don't want to sing..."he muttered but undressed and climbed into bed, looking for all the world like a kid who wnted sung to sleep as he settled down next to gwen

she smiled a little and shook her head. "too many things." she repeated with a sigh as she followed him, smiling at the mistress who didn't even stir. "i will sing for Lady Gwen as well." she assured him as she settled into a chair next to the bed, singing a soft tune about a fawn, looking for the perfect place to sleep. the tune soft and gentle, the words amusing. and she sang until he fell asleep before she went to her own bedroom to make sure her violin was still in tune, and in the morning, she was dressed with her violin in hand. "i am going to the Street Market today, to play for the people." she informed them simply. "will you be joining me?"

in the morning Brandoin did indeed look better rested then he had in awhile, before looking startled at her announcement before nodding."We will.Shane has been getting after me to enjoy the public more, to be among my people."He said. Liar liar pants of fire. The only way brandoin could get ny closer ten he already was to actually give up the crown and live among them. As it was, the man spent a few days every week out in the market and town.

she smiled as Shane lifted an eyebrow at Brandoin, looking ever so amused. "oh, and when we're in the streets, don't call him the king, or your majesty or anything. he likes being incognito." Shane admitted with a yawn as he enjoyed his Bitters. "you need to eat before you go though Stallion, can't have you fainting on the streets, what would people think?" "people's opinions matter little to me." she admitted simply, but obediently settled at the table and enjoyed a nice hearty meal.

Brandoin rolled his eyes looking amused as he ate,"It's nice not being known."he said as he finished his food before getting up, looking at the other two."shall we?Gwen said something about going to the market to, and I want to get most of my day done with before she shows up."She said knowing that while he enjoyed her company, the woman wouldn't allow him to walk around incognito so he wnted to get most of his enjoyment done before she showed.

Phedra giggled a little and shook her head a little. "what shall i call you then? certainly everyone knows the name Bradoin." she mused, pondering. "shall i call you Briant?" she asked, her head tilted at him. "it is not as handsome a name as Brandoin, but it is close." she admitted with a small smile as she headed out the door, simply expecting the men to follow her... which Shane did. they walked into the street, many people gasping in awe as they saw Phedra. those that had been in the tavern, had told the entire town about the Lady with the Silver Violin. they all crowded around each other, trying to get a good look at her as she found a nice tall place to play, making Shane help her into a tree, before she began to play. as always, the music was wonderful, happy, playful, and perfect. and all of the Market stopped to listen with smiles on their faces as her voice joined the music, singing of love, and peace, prosperity and joy. there where no lights to accompany this time though, as it was too bright out to see the dancing colors.

Brandoin smiled s he leaned against one of the nerby trees, looking amused as he listened to the singing, though the notes were tearing at his heart. Her question about what had hurt him had brought up things that he had tried so hard to forget. He'd become a widow, and a king in the same day. It had been a overwhelming day when his beloved had died, they'd always been together. Ever since they'd been young, and losing both wife and child to a difficult birth had devastated the crown prince....who had become king within hours of the loss when his father had tried to ride through the storm to get to his side from the summer palace. The loss and the guilt he felt for being so distraught to summon his father even when the rin had made the roads unpassable had eaten the man alive in the 6 years since. Shaking his hed he sighed quietly looking down at the woman standing next to him, a woman he tried so hard to get himself to love, but never could feel more then affection."Gwen."He muttered pressing a kiss to her forehead, glncing towards shane."Shane.I'm going home."He straightened moving towards his bodyguard.

Gwen smiled as she examined Brandoin, her head tilted a little. "she plays so beautifully." Gwen muttered softly. "is she the one who sang last night?" she asked curiously, feeling a little jealous of how utterly beautiful the other woman was. far more beautiful than Gwen could ever hope to be. Shane looked over at them and nodded. "i'll stay here with the Stallion." he promised, Gwen lifting an eyebrow. "...Stallion?" she asked, looking amused. "that is NOT an appropriate nickname for a young lady." "...better than Harpy. i WAS going to call her a Harpy... but she sings to pretty to be that." Gwen sputtered in rage at Shane's insults and Shane laughed, Phedra ignoring them all as she worked her Violin for the crowd, her voice oh so pretty as Gwen led Brandoin away. "are you alright Bran?" she asked softly, frowning. "you look upset..."

"She does."Brandoin smiled a little looking amused, pressing a kiss to gwen's forehead, unaware of what she was feeling but knowing she was upset."She is. She said I needed to get some sleep."He said lushing before starting to lugh."She kicked Shane, he's not happy with her."He snickered before wrapping a arm round gwen's shoulders as they walked taking the long way back towards the castle enjoying the walk."Just thinking. I'm fine."He muttered kissing her head.
