She stood, brushing his pants out of habit again. "If you will allow me privacy to dress, Sir Lufaine," she said with a slight tilt of her head. Really, she was much more comfortable in dresses. Not to mention the high level water enchantments placed on them to make them viable armor. Her father had insisted.

Zeheris left it at, "We've met." before he turned to leave. Zeheris was satisfied with the place's defenses, and was sure Tsukasa would close the gap he'd found. He'd let him deal with Lena. She wasn't his problem anymore.

Lena was getting a feel for the place when she felt Tsukasa teleport. Very nice wards, expressly permitted _only_ keyed in individuals to teleport, otherwise a nasty backlash. But why-

That power. She'd felt it before. Irvine. He must've been using that cloak of his. Why did he come here? Was he following her? Maybe... Too late for maybe's. Best to just let it die in the back of her mind. That's the only place thoughts like that would go.

He blushed and turned away at first, incredibly hesitant after the events earlier. "I won't look, nor will I force you to change your decision, but I would feel much better if I were with you..." He spoke kindly, but almost sternly. While it was true that this place was blast, bullet, earthquake, and fireproof, he couldn't help but be worried about her. He had been told that the summoning and teleportation signatures were fine-tuned to him and him only, but he didn't was to rely on that. Not while he had someone else's life on the line.

Fontina ponders this seriously, especially the part where Asura doesn't know who her father is... or how eagerly he'd reveal himself to crush a man he thought ill suited for her. Options... what were her options..? ".... Sir Lufaine, I've decided you may stay so long as you do not stare." She didn't need to say what he shouldn't be staring at. Hopefully he picked up on the part she left out... that he could look. ... To maintain proper watch of course! Not...

She felt somewhat odd, arguing her motives with herself.

He nodded, picking up on the last part, blushing a bit more, but restraining himself. He realized she was probably smitten with Musashi in a past life, but he also knew that she was his employer, and must give her the proper respect, even beyond his personal morals. Hense, he kept looking away, his senses attuned to any noise or disturbance, although he felt none.

Tsukasa watched Zeheris leave, making sure he was actually gone before teleporting back to the front desk.
It was perfect timing (Not unusual. He'd had 300 years to practice timing.), as Rookie was coming out the piano-side staircase door. Fully equiped in his light leather armor, that had been specifically crafted to not hinder movement, and wielding a Spear in his right hand, Rookie enthusiasticly greeted Tsukasa with a salute, a smile, and a, "Boss!"

Tsukasa sat back down at his desk, taking a few moments to ruffle about his papers. As he found what he was looking for, the Guildmaster waved his hires over to stand before him. "All right, last mission of the day. C'mere."

Zeheris walked out of the Helper's Guild satisfied. It had been tough to get in, and even when he'd done so Tsukasa had found him before Zeheris had revealed himself. The only contention he had was that Lena was there, but that was more on behalf of a man dead for over a year. So a personal thing to not bother with. Besides, he had a patrol to do. Then he'd check up on the secretary's disappearance.

Lena nodded and stood nearby, staff in hand and ready for whatever task Tsukasa had in mind. She wanted to question him about Irvine, but it was too public, and she wasn't sure what she'd say, or what she even wanted to hear.

As the Water Maiden stripped, she let her mind put Asura in the background scenery so that she didn't get too tense. After all, she was safe here. Under his watchful gaze... She didn't realize how sensual her movements were becoming, and unconceous decision made by her heart and body to attract Asura. It was very hard for him to not notice her finely shaped rear when she bent to put on her long skirt.
Even though it was in the back of her mind, Fontina was finding his attentions... wonderful. It was hard to not be happy when such a nice man just... dropped into your lap. If she didn't know better, she might have suspected her father arranged it. He tended to know things many didn't, often days, months, even years in advance. ... That thought gave her pause, stopping her still in the middle of clothing her top. Now that she thought about it, her father really could have arranged it.
Letting that train of thought sit aside for later, she finished dressing and turned back to Asura. "Well, Sir Lufaine, what do you think should happen next? We are alone with nothing to do until the morrow," she asked, mostly because she was afraid she'd become bored since she could not calm her heart enough to read. Her family had a history of bad things happening when any of them got bored.

"What do you suggest? I suppose we could play poker or blackjack? Do you have any other hobbies?" He thought, stretching a bit. He found himself having to restrain himself a lot, something about this girl driving him crazy. "Perhaps you sing, or draw?"

Tsukasa held up a stack of five papers in his right hand, gazing intently at Rookie, who saluted happily, then Lena. "Apparently some of the local goblin tribes have been banding together under some 'Goblin Heroes' who will help them wipe out mankind. Naturally, we can't let them do that," he said casually. His face, however, was all business. It was the face of someone who knew what he was doing, and got the job done right. Second chances? It didn't look like he needed any, since he'd take care of it the first time. It was a very familiar look to Lena, who had spent years studying magic. It was the look of a Master.
He dropped the papers on the edge of the desk for them to take. "On those papers are the targets. Kill them discreetly, then return here. Work together, I'll be monitoring your progress." His tone brooked no arguement. He was the Boss, and for a damn good reason too! He was expecting success from them, and Lena knew it. Rookie knew it too, but he was happier with that. The poor boy really wanted to serve his Boss.

Fontina closed her eyes.. then snapped the back open, a devious, dangerous glint appearing in them. "Chess. I would like to play chess. Do you have a set?"

Lena nods. "Any safe teleport spots near the target zone?" She wanted to know if she could provide instant or quick travel. Flying them while invisible was her other choice, but was slower.

Tsukasa shakes his head. "No. They're in a group of caves in Violet Valley. The violet crystals of that place make the Conjuration and Necromancy schools pretty unreliable." Not to mention Divination, but he wasn't going to tell her everything. This was a test mission, after all.

Lena grimaced. Of course they would pick there. It was naturally defended against certain magics. At least she could get them in quickly and quietly. But her Divinations would be useless. She usually didn't bother with Conjuration unless killing multitudes anyway. And for the most part Necromancy was let untouched. Far too many had succumbed to it's tempting embrace for her to use it much. At least Illusions were good, along with Evocation. Although she should probably avoid a possible avalanche of raw magic by hitting a bunch of violet crystals wrong. Enchantments were actually improved, so that was a bonus. "If you're willing, I can invisibly fly us there." Lena offered to Rookie.

He smiled and nodded, bringing out an ornate set of wood and ivory pieces, aged but well-kept. "Of course, it's a bit incomplete without it, is it not?" He asked as he placed the pieces in there appropriate squares, putting the black pieces on his own side. "On your mark, Milady Fontina."

Rookie nodded enthusiasticly with a happy smile on his face.

Tsukasa finished the briefing by reminding them that Violet Valley was 30 kilometers north by northwest of the city, and telling them they had a week to finish the job. That got them moving.

Fontina's chess game was well thought out and well excecuted, calculating and cruel in her tactics. She had noticed pretty early on that Asura was surpisingly good at reading his opponent instinctively, and then reacting accordingly. Unfortunately for him, most of his 'acting/reacting accordingly' was insinctive too, as he did not have the full memories of those whom he was made of. This let her fake her expressions, playing mind games with him during the match simply by twitching her fingers in certain ways. The cruel part? He didn't seem to know it. Still, he was managing to challenge her with gut instinct and sloppy, short-term planning. It was actually somewhat impressive.

Lena let Rookie get ready, when he was, and they were outside, she cast the Improved Invisibility spell on them both, then asked, "Would you rather have control of your flight, or are you fine with me controlling both?" She asked. She was willing to cast Fly twice, but preferred to only need to cast the spell that allowed her to control them both at the same time, since it was one spell.

Rookie moved closer to Lena and turned his back to her, ready to be carried. He didn't understand magic very well, but he knew he didn't know how to fly. Better to let the magic flying person fly than the not magic, not flying person, in his humble opinion.

Lena nodded, and then cast a modified Overland Flight that allowed her to fly up to 19 others at the same time. The flight to Violet Valley was rather nice. The quiet beauty of a bird's eye view of the land helped to pass the time, for Lena was disinclined to talk.

He kept playing to the best of his ability, keeping his mind on the game, Fontina, and the security itself. It quickly became apparent, however, that the security was absolute here. He relaxed a bit because of it, and a soft smile appeared on his face. "You play well, Milady. Any reason why you wanted to play so suddenly?"

He smiled cockily and used the 'castle rule' with his king and other rook. "Actually, that's check on you. Perhaps even checkmate.."

Fontina just smiles. It wasn't a nice smile. Rather cruel, actually. She performs an En Passant, simultaineously riding herself of the only obsticle between her queen and Asura's king, and protecting her king from checkmate. Her rook, two bishops, and knight blocked all other escape routes for Asura's king, and no move could currently take her queen. "Checkmate." She says triumphantly.

"Bravo, Milady." He said simply, admitting defeat. "I enjoyed that match.. is there anything else you would like to do, perhaps?"
