Movies always told the stories that surprise parties were always messes and they never went as planned. They seemed to start off great, but along the way something happened with the main man of the night typically finding out that there was something planned for him. But Lucas Bartlett - a man commonly known as Luke - was determined to not let such a thing happen on his friends big night of turning a different age. It wasn’t too hard to not let it happen though. Anything that night could go wrong - from the small bit of punch being spiked to his place being burned down in a freak accident. The possibilities of the night were endless and the brown eyed male wasn’t getting ready to guess any of them. Whatever happened that night was going to happen. If it ended up to be the best or worst of them, then it was meant to be. But by the crowd that had built up in the coming hours, he could tell this night could be one he couldn’t forget.

It was unusual to not be bothered by a set of eyes peering at him, but in the corner of his own place, he found himself looking out over the party like an unfamiliar bodyguard. Everything was falling into places like a puzzle and it was all what he had put together. A mastermind of the plan - waiting as the male of the hour would soon arrive. The place was in a dark tone - lights set up for when the male would soon arrive so the party could be started as soon as the arrival was final. Everything else was ready. The stereo system was up and his room was closed - a place in the house that was one of the more opened areas and seemed to be in the middle - glass wall dividers on spinning turns - able to turn if forced. The same and partial glass and wooden doors were locked from the inside. The last thing he wanted were a pair of strangers from the outside coming in just to use his bed to fuck someone else in. If anyone wanted to fuck, then the couch or the bathroom was where they would have to go. That was for his and the person he could be sleeping with tonight. Everyone else was off limits.

A figure from the outside world came running in through the front door of his apartment and near the center where everyone seemed to be crowded. Nonetheless, it was a man named Nathan - a short and somewhat stubby man - that was apart of his social circle. He had a nice head of black hair, but he was somewhat pudgy. Inspecting the male and seeing a pink button-up, blue jeans and tennis shoes, he smirked and almost shook his head at the awful choice the man picked out to wear at their friends surprise party. “Everyone! Will is headed upstairs right now!” Nathan called out - hands cupped around his mouth as his voice boomed. As soon as his voice called out though, everyone struck silent as they waited patiently - Luke moving forward to join the rest of the crowd and no longer taking his role of inspecting everyone else there. He no longer wanted to find a male to sleep with that night, but he did have some plans for the birthday boy that would be through the door at any moment.

Everything seemed to move fast and in seconds, Will was through the doors and the balloons hanging gently from their net had been dropped. At near the same instant, the lights got to going and the music began. Greetings were exchanged but Luke found himself back on the side until every last greeting was given out. “Hey. Luke.” He heard his name call out, and instantly his head turned to his side. He stood at the counter were multiple bottles of assorted drinks were laid out for everyones pleasure. There was no doubt about it that every bottle - of which there seemed to be thousands of them to choose from - would all be used but maybe not emptied that day. He could tell by curious and wondering eyes though that some would definitely be sneaked out in which he didn’t mind. He didn’t need all the booze to be staying at his place anyways and if it went home with someone by the end of the night then he wasn’t going to complain. As people chattered around him, he looked over and across to see Nathan show up again.

“Treat Will good tonight. Okay?” Nathan tried to reason but Luke just rolled his brown eyes - pushing his short and cute brown hair back on his head. What was this man trying to say? That he was going to break the birthday boy’s heart that night? Through the mouths of many, he had been told he could be quite the heartbreaker when he wanted to be. He could only remember a few times in his life - maybe three or four - when he had only had sex more than once with the same person. He never stayed with one person though and relationships in his world were non-existent. They had no meaning and baring yourself down to one person was pointless in general. There was no fun having sex with the same person every night - coming home to a person that confided their love in you. It could become boring quickly and he didn’t need to be tied down to something without much meaning to him. Commitment meant getting your heart broken and that was something he didn’t want to be caught up in a year from now.

“What are you trying to tell me?” Luke asked, leaning forward more on the counter as he grabbed an empty shot glass. His friend - Jack Daniels - sat off to the side and while it was his own bottle and could have easily lifted the nozzle up to mouth and could have thrown a good bit back, he decided to pour a small shot for himself and throw it back that way. “I’m telling you to not play any head games with him tonight. It’s his birthday party. Not a birthday game fiasco for you to play on him, you hear?” Nathan asked almost sternly. The short male pointed a finger at the older and taller male - aging at the age of twenty-nine but on the cusp of thirty. In his own accused and playful manner though, Luke found himself throwing his hands up in the air while one hand was kept on his shot glass. “Yes, sir.” He sarcastically said. But he had never planned to play with the males heart. He planned to tease - a card he always found himself playing around plenty. His brown eyes were fixed on Nathan though in a meaningful manner to show that he somewhat meant it before putting his hands down and pouring another shot. This one, however, was not for himself but for the man of the night.

With a heel, he turned away from Nathan and walked out of the kitchen area and into the crowd where already he found the man of the hour socializing. “Yoo-hoo. Birthday boy.” Luke called out, holding up the shot as he walked forward to the male. But, immediately with his brown eyes shifted over to someone new near Will. A face he never saw before. Sure there were a lot of faces he never saw here before but this one was different. He had a young complexion look about him and definitely younger than the rest. But his eyes shifted back slowly after giving the unfamiliar face a smile. Instead of focusing on this one person, he looked at the man who raised his eyebrows. With a slow hand, he guided the shot over into Will’s hand in an offering manner. “Luke! I didn’t see you! I know this is your place and all, but you and your ways..” The male immediately spoke, but his voice faded as Luke leaned down to plant a kiss on the younger males lips. Shit. The male wasn’t supposed to be even talking too much tonight but just enjoying it in general.

The male pulled back before he could though and with this, he was in a state of near shock. “Hey! What was that for?” Will nearly exclaimed but he could see the smirk. No doubt in everyones mind, they were all gay. Luke himself was too even though he could sometimes come off as being a man who leaned towards both genders with his flirtatious attitude. But like everyone else at the male majority party, he was like every one of them. He wasn’t the flaunting type and he didn’t try to make it known for the gay community. If all the things, he kept it under the covers unless he was asked. He didn’t like flaunting it though and unlike some gay men, he acted straight but understood the sense of fashion as he kept it in mind when it came to going out and picking up a person of the same sex. Out of most of the men, he was one of the more who liked to keep in shape: strutting a tall figure that had a good set of abs and a small tan. As for the night when it came to outfits, he wore a grey button up, slacks and nice black dress shoes. He was dressed a bit more formal but he knew to present himself well.

“A birthday kiss for the birthday boy. My little present from me to you.” He spoke. His voice was a bit raspy - his mouth near the other mans ear in a seductive manner but again - nothing more to tease than what he might have in mind for later. His words were spoken and he could see the male flush. In a pleasing manner, he just smiled back but his attention was again stolen by the male that seemed to stand near him. “And whose this you brought with you?” He asked curiously. He took a few steps forward but he wasn’t looking for so much a name than he was a role in the guys life. Placing a hand on the unfamiliar shoulder, he gave a small squeeze. He was almost thinking about changing his plans just to meet the needs of this new person in the place, but he would have to wait and see. “Luke, that’s Jamie. Jamie - Luke.” Will said as an introduction. But what was this male near him that he now turned to stand behind in examination. Was he this friends boyfriend? A brother? He could have sworn awhile back the male mention he might perhaps have a younger brother, but his memory wasn’t too clear.

Looking down with a smirk, he looked up when he heard Will raise his voice, saying: “I’ll be right back.”. He rose a hand up to signal towards the shot he drank and the small kitchen he would be in. But the next words were filled with poison but something that would be taken harshly. “And Luke: hands off.” the voice spoke again, turning his back. But the male should already know him better than that. Rolling his eyes and letting out a sharp sigh, he took a hand off the shoulder of this male named Jamie. There was no fun if touching or grinding to the thumping music was involved, but he supposed for the moment until Will arrived back that he would have to follow the rules. “So Jamie - right?” He asked, crossing his arms and letting his teeth tug at the inside of a cheek with impatience. The night needed to go by fast before all control would be lost. “What are you - a piece of.. jailbait like yourself - doing with Will?” The question had to be asked. By the looks, he looked to be young. Looks could be deceiving sometimes though an he could never tell what would happen next. With the others words stinging into his skull though and knowing it was the males birthday, he knew he might have to go against Nathan’s earlier words and play a game of teasing and go against his other birthday present. Nothing serious in the end though. It was all for fun though, right?

Farewell, Switzerland. Hello, New York. No emotion could describe the rapid pace at which his heart was beating in his chest. James Cavalier had been holed up in Switzerland’s most prestigious boarding school, his parent’s idea. The day the decision had been made was still fresh in the back of his mind; it was entirely his brother’s fault. Most siblings would blame each other because that’s what they do, but the Cavalier boys weren’t like that. They were nearly best friends, their age gaps keeping them from being interested in exactly the same things, but they were close. His older brother, William, was always there for him to tell things to, for him to vent or just scream. In return, Jamie held the same responsibilities, internally storing all the secrets Will vested in him, understanding that brothers didn’t rat on each other, at least not them.

That day, that fateful day in which a plane ride and extended stay in Switzerland was booked and planned for him was the day Will decided to come out of the closet. See, in this modern day and age, people are being faced more frequently with the idea of homosexuals being more common in their everyday lives. But, their parents didn’t understand why their shining, blonde haired and blue eyed baby boy had to be gay. They only wanted the best for him, they confessed, and were afraid that they would not be able to protect him from the flaming gays that would want to break him. Jamie thought the whole thing was ridiculous, but he sat silently in the corner, watching as his hero and idol was torn to pieces by their own parents. He wasn’t there to defend him, he wasn’t strong enough to tell their parents that Will was smart enough to not let himself get hurt. Hell, from every other angle, his older brother looked and acted completely straight, completely normal, but it was just the small fact that he preferred boys over girls that made his parents tick.

By the end of the night, he had stormed out of the place, packing up the things he needed most and promising Jamie that he would have a place to stay if he ever needed to escape their psychotic parents. He had spoken truthfully, yet the place wasn’t where Will would have wanted: in an entirely new country, Switzerland. Afraid that their youngest boy would have diseased thoughts and feelings after spending so much time around his now outed brother, the Cavalier parents sent him to a strict all-boys boarding school. Surely, being around boys every day would safeguard him from becoming homosexual... Jamie had kept his mouth quiet at that point.

An entire year passed before he found himself being released from the prison that was high performance school. He had erased the idea of uniforms and perfectly combed hair from his memory and dressed in black trousers, a navy colored shirt that complimented his striking black hair and black Dockers. The plane ride turned out to be uncomfortable and it was Will’s birthday that same day, he had to be comfortable and presentable in case the boys ended up doing anything. Groaning to himself as the plane bounced along on the tarmac in New York, Jamie peeled himself from the seat and stretched, absentmindedly checking his iPhone for texts. It was still on ‘airplane mode’ so there was nothing showing up, but it was comforting to see that he was back in a familiar time zone. Once the plane stopped and they were free to gather their carry-ons and get in line like assembly workers, he carded a hand through his hair and smiled. No matter how pathetic his stay in Switzerland had been, being back in New York was about to make everything that much better.

He had finished playing the blame game with his older brother and was now just pleased to be able to see him after a year. Sure, they had tried to chat over text messages, email and Facebook, but their attempts were faulted. Internet access was restricted and websites and usage was recorded and surveyed. Eventually, Jamie had stopped checking, only to check for the first time in months while waiting for his plane from Switzerland to the States. There were a few emails from Will, others from friends that he had left behind, who were wondering if he was still alive. All he had told them was that he was going to be receiving a higher quality of education in Switzerland. None of his friends had tested him on the subject, since the boarding schools in any of the movies they watched were located anywhere but America, so it was acceptable. It was the truth afterall; Jamie may have just fibbed a bit on the reasoning. He didn’t need them to know that he was being sent there because of his brother’s newly announced sexuality.

By the time the herd of passengers was led off the plane and into the airport, Jamie adjusted his messenger bag on his shoulder and scanned the crowd for his brother. As expected, the shock of blonde hair appeared in the masses and he found himself smiling even wider. Walking towards the bobbing locks, they ran into each other with a hug that lasted long enough to make the year apart not even relevant.

“God, you’re so damn tall now,” Stepping back, Will took his brother by the shoulders and inspected him, seeing that they were the same height now. That must have been predictably frustrating, especially coming from the fact that the age gap between them was almost six years. “Glad to be back on the homeland?” He questioned with a smile, wrapping his arm around Jamie’s shoulders and pulling him close so quickly that the newly joined boys nearly toppled over.

“Yeah.” Jamie blushed, righting himself, head bowed. They stopped for a few moments to grab his luggage from the carousel before claiming the black Audi that was parked in the loading zone for too long.

“I know, I know.” Raising his hands in a surrendering manner, Will unlocked the doors with the electronic key fob on his key ring, leaving Jamie gawking at the vehicle. “Jamie, wake up,” Will snapped his fingers and the younger Cavalier male jumped into action, loading his few bags and suitcases into the trunk, being extra careful with the car near him.

“She’s a beauty.” He stated, buckling himself into the passenger seat as soon as his things were secured in the rear. His brother patted the dash affectionately and grinned, the same grin that Jamie had grown to love as they grew up together.

“I bought her two months ago. She just got real plates this morning.” Leaning his head back against the headrest as the car was started; he watched the surroundings zip by past his window as Will drove faster than the New York speed limits. “We’re going to go to my friend Luke’s for a while. He wants to give me a present or something. Who knows, that guy can be a whack job.” Jamie had heard of the infamous Luke just in snippets, knowing that he was one of the more… roaming men in Will’s group of friends.

“Oh, shit, I totally forgot! Happy birthday!” Leaning over to swat him on the thigh, the male grinned visually and settled back on his seat. “The big 2-3 now, huh?” His brother simply gripped the wheel and continued driving, steering the car in silence for the next few miles.

“How was turning the big 1-7, J?” Easily surpassing the excellent age of 16 while he was in boarding school, James had managed to miss the explosion of birthday messages from his family. There was no way he could not accept the presents which were sent over, address with his name and dorm number. All in all, Jamie wasn’t a big fan of celebrating birthdays, especially his own, because it was just an excuse to get presents and attention only one day of the year. Hell, on his birthday this year, people he hadn’t spoken to since middle school had broken their invisible vow of silence to wish him a great day. Now, if that wasn’t pathetic and wrong, Jamie didn’t know what was. Immediately after that, he had purged his friend’s list of people he didn’t usually talk to on a day-to-day basis. If he was going to be going to school in a completely different country, he didn’t need to hear about the happenings of strangers in America.

“It was fine. I got the cardigan and pants you sent me, thanks, by the way. They were a real hit with the ladies.” Wiggling his eyebrows in a joking manner, he simply shook his head and placed his hands in his lap. “Mom and Dad sent over a shirt that said ‘World’s Best Son’ or something. I think they are still trying to get me to be their golden boy.” He summarized, assuming that his parents had not talked or apologized to Will after what happened many months ago. “I just kept it in the box and ended up giving it away to some kid that had issues with his parents. It seemed like the right thing to do.” Shrugging, Jamie continued to peer out the window as they finally reached the large apartment building where their small meeting would take place. They ended up at a location that would rival the Hilton hotels all over the world. It was grand, a building that seemed to reach so far into the sky that planes probably needed to venture around it. He was sure that that was not the matter, but it was definitely astonishing to see such an establishment. “Does he live here or work here?”

Will laughed his question off and led him to the elevator where they rode up several floors. When they reached the door that this Luke fellow appeared to live behind, the boys let themselves in, Jamie trailing close behind, only to be introduced to a circus of things happening. Balloons dropped, music played, lights flashed and flickered and Will turned all shades of red. Clapping his hands over his mouth, he disappeared inside, leaving the younger male to follow suit, keeping his eye on the mess of blonde hair as he went around the room, thanking friends. Okay, maybe Will was right that this friend of his was a whack job, but Jamie would certainly appreciate a friend who would do this for him. Several minutes later, his brother reappeared at his side, a glass of some sort of alcohol in his hand, murmuring in the boy’s ear that he was free to drink what he wanted, he wouldn’t be returned to their parent’s place that night. To his shock, Jamie was surprised that Will had assumed he’d be willing to go back to live with their parents at all, except for the fact that New York was expensive and he was broke.

A voice called Will’s name and a figure appeared, a man several inches taller than Jamie with the perfect frame to fit. They shared conversation – a kiss, was this guy Will’s boyfriend? – before inquiry was directed towards the dark haired male and introductions were given. Nodding slowly, Jamie worked at sipping the drink in his hand, which tasted utterly disgusting yet he wanted to be an adult like the rest of them, so he steadily chipped away.

“I’ll be right back.” Will quipped and disappeared, again, towards the kitchen, leaving the two freshly introduced men together.

“Oh, Will’s my brother. I just got back from boarding school in Switzerland.” He explained, finishing the drink finally and letting the glass hang awkwardly in his hand. His mind was far from feeling fuzzy, but that was his destination by the tail end of the night. “He picked me up from the airport and brought me here. You’re a very nice guy,” addressing the party around him, Jamie continued, “for doing this for him. I’m sure he appreciates it.” Gray eyes flicked between Luke and the small groups of people lingering and swaying to music in the apartment. “I’m going to… go wander around. You won’t mind?” If he was going to risk having this many party-goers in his apartment, Jamie was sure Luke was expecting something to be broken.

“The room behind the wall is off-limits, right? I’ll keep out.” Winking at him, a famous grin on his face, he filled up his glass and toddled off into the heart of the party. A few of the males gave cat calls and whistles as he walked by, but Jamie ignored them. He wasn’t interested in men of their age, but they could try all they wanted.

So the million dollar question was answered. It was Will’s brother and not some boyfriend he just happened to find or not mention about. Kudos to him. He knew he remembered something about a brother but he hadn’t exactly remembering for the sake that he had probably been drunk when Will told him or he had his eyes on some other guy for wherever their location might have been for that time - a club no doubt if he thought really hard. The guy seemed to be.. cute enough so to speak though. Maybe not his type but he did seem to have a perfect little hourglass shape of a body happening and that was always a plus in any mans world. Besides - having a man with a not so much good body could be a turn off and it seemed as though that Will’s parents had a good pair of genes working out for them if they managed to push out two men with nice looking bodies. Nice little bodies, but he was sure that the room was still reserved for Will that night. Well, that was upon his pretty little brother was shown off to him like a trophy prize. Then, his mind shifted gears from the birthday boy all the way over to his brother. Was it wrong? Sure it was but two wrongs could make a right and as for Lucas Bartlett, he found that out in his own mischievous manner his own way.

He was left completely alone with Jamie but perhaps on Will’s part this hadn’t been the smartest decision for the male to make because his hands were never guaranteed to be put up tight. Keeping his hands to himself was like begging your child not to touch anything inside an art museum. Reverse psychology, right? So how could Will expect him to keep his hands to himself with those types of orders being given out? It was next to impossible now with this male pretty much all to himself - a ‘dance floor’ per se - he would find it impossible now to not make the slightest move towards the male. The words of the other male echoed clearly in his head though. ‘I’m telling you to not play any head games with him tonight. It’s his birthday party. Not a birthday game fiasco for you to play on him, you hear?’ He remembered but honestly? While it was his near to be best friends surprise birthday party, he could give less of two shits of what Nathan nearly commanded him to do. If he wasn’t known for his actions by then well they were in for a near to be hell of surprise. While Will was a well built guy with some muscle tone to him, he technically already fucked him once and never once was Lucas known to turn around and fuck the same person over again like he had thought that night. It was his birthday, sure, but that didn’t mean he would be the only one getting ‘the goods’ that night. That was just selfish.

In the lack of privacy and forced to talk to this new male, he nodded and felt the need to smile. It was half faked but he knew there was some truth behind these mans words. It had been nice of him but it was only due to the fact that he was hosting it at his place. It had been Nathan’s idea as well as the others in the small social circle - being Jeremy and Michael. Why would something of this big of a deal matter to anyone? It was just a birthday and preferably he didn’t prefer to celebrate his own. It was some sort of celebration to celebrate the coming of age and that one more year passed you by and for some reason it still reminded you were still alive. While it made most feel lively and depressed - maybe that life wasn’t gong as everything had been planned long ago or that things just weren’t going as well as anything else - Lucas preferred not to celebrate it. In this mist of him, Nathan, Jeremy and Michael planning the surprise birthday party for Will, Lucas brought up the point and asked why they were doing this. In a smart ass way, Jeremy - a man of tall stature and had a thin body and short hair - said it was to celebrate the presence of such a wonderful human being on Earth while giving me a hurtful little stare as if to indicate that I shouldn’t be one of those wonderful human beings that some men feasted upon at clubs. My casual response had been “Looks like you aren’t having one then.”. Jeremy and I never got along though and by the looks of things we never will.

“Yeah. I guess you could say I am.” Lucas responded with almost cockily but just as he had spoken to get to know the male better even if it wasn’t in the greatest ways. He wasn’t the nicest though. There were certainly much more nicer men around here that were probably willing to do just the same if they knew Will good enough. However, most of these people heard this party out of the mouths of other people and were probably just here for the booze and hitting around the bush that they might possibly get laid by someone or another tonight. Even Lucas hoped for so himself but he wasn’t going to put it out there like some people did. He wasn’t that type. Instead, he was more of the type to go to the bar with the said friends of Will, Michael and Jeremy and talk. If he saw a guy looking his way, he might leave the group of friends, buy the guy a drink all the while maybe trying to flirt his way into the mans pants like it was no ones business. After the flirtatious ways were set aside, he would just swoop the male aside and do the dirty wherever available nearby. If it was a bar, then the most likely place would be the bars bathrooms where people wouldn’t mind because they were too drunk or doing just the same with the person they met minutes ago unless it couldn’t be held then the corners of the bar would have to do and no one who was drunk seemed to really give a damn. It was how everyone worked whether you were at a bar or a club. Everyone did it and no one was an exception.

The male that was awfully new to his nature commented on how he was going to go look around and more take a little venture around the place like it was some fucking tour around town. Since when was his place opened for adventure? Sure he had guys of the night come in from the nights at the bars and clubs but the adventures were completely different. But the problem was that maybe for once Lucas didn’t want someone to leave his presence. Maybe this would be his boy toy for the night and he could keep him all to himself. He seemed to even take the drink down just as smoothly as anyone else at the place but that wasn’t really a factor Lucas found good enough to point out. While this male seemed to be cute and maybe even a bit more noticeably related to Will by the somewhat seductive look about him, he knew not to waste his time running after him. He wasn’t the type to run after any guy and to see him run after this guy - a boy who looked to be fresh right out of high school and so inexperiences - it would seem like he would be desperate just to get a piece of ass that night. He had planned on making it Will’s night though, right? Not this new kid named Jamie but Jamie - while his looks were good and everything about him was nice looking - there was still something about this guys brother that was still attractive. His hands needed to keep still and he almost reached to hold the other back, but he refrained from his actions and he too walked away.

His mind glanced back like a reel to when the male spoke about his off limits room. Technically he never announced this to anyone and there wasn’t some flashing neon sign up that announced his room was off limits for the night. Perhaps the male noticed from the locked doors and rotatable windows that were locked to keep anyone out of it. His intentions of that room might be for the ‘after party’ of him and Will depending on where things led or if in that matter if Will stayed long enough to make everything spark like one huge firework. Lucas was hoping it would work but as he walked away from the new guy and over to his kitchen where some stood crowded and talking wildly - getting a drink for himself to settle himself down even if it was just for a bit - he found himself looking out into those small cliques the male might be in. He looked in the ones of the guys - dancing and dry humping each other or so it seemed. Maybe it was just their sad excuse of what some teenagers may call ‘dancing’ now. Maybe he was just in the group of talkers - complaining about the life they have and the life they wished they had. But his eyes glanced of the good amount of guest and soon he laid his eyes back on him. Like some sort of trophy boy he owned and he was just keeping a watch over the thing. The thing? Sure because once he got whatever he needed out of the male tonight (or if it was going to happen at all) then this male that Will brought with him would be just another male to add onto his list. Will should have never brought him.

Throughout the night he felt like he was watching Jamie like entertainment but that didn’t mean he didn’t find his own entertainment. In the nights of the faces he didn’t know - occasionally coming across those people he did know and getting seductive looks because he knew he probably fucked that person too - he would find himself either on the sidelines and sipping on a cocktail or on the floor talking or simply getting down to the making out business of it all. He found himself then again not caring whether or not who ended up giving him some action but just that he found it rather than having to go out after the party to some bar or club to find someone to help him. It wasn’t that he’s a sex addict - he just cared for it a bit too deeply than any normal person and it was just an act of sharing with those who held his same beliefs that relationships led to lies and heartbreak. Nothing ever benefited out of it except maybe the then again sex but even that got dull after awhile if you kept the same partner around for way too long. There had to be some mix up and if he couldn’t have that then there would just be no fun and relationship. And so that’s how his night went: feeling like he looked out over this new guy, making out with a few guys here and there and by the end of it he tried to make a move on Will but at the time he seemed to be caught up in a pretty heated conversation in which he wouldn’t want to find himself anywhere near because the night was supposed to be fun and not overly dramatic.

It all seemed to end too soon though and while people leaved, Lucas made sure to get Will alone and pull him off to the side. The party overall seemed to go well but he didn’t know about some of the few underage drinkers there. In all parties like these though, Lucas drank and if he did it was only a small amount. His main concern was not drinking a lot because by the time everyone left and whoever he was left there still stood their turf down, he would be trying to get it up and the last thing he needed was a bad case of the whiskey dick and that wasn’t a title he wanted to grant himself. “You going home just yet?” Lucas asked as he had pulled Will aside to the kitchen, leaning him against the counter while putting a hand up near the button on the guys shirt. The male was a bit tipsy but not too bad to function. They all had their nights of being a bit too tipsy and driving and they got home safe. Of course if this male drove home and he crashed, it would be his fault but he doubted that was something he was going to do. On the floor were littered red Solo cups. However, he wasn’t concerned with these as they could be picked up tomorrow morning before he headed out to work. Now was his chance. His gift. But for the males response to come he didn’t expect the words that came out of his mouth.

“Yeah, man. I have to take Jamie home.” The male responded and as he heard those words, he heard the slight boos from Nathan, Jeremy and Michael who stood near his apartment door that were fixing to leave with the tipsy friend. He heard the words of ‘rejection’ leak from their mouths but he just rolled his eyes. He didn’t know it would come to this but he felt as though that the latter plan of going to a bar or club might be happening. Watching as the men prepared to leave - Will taking the presents he had been given - Lucas walked off to his room with a set of keys in his pockets and unlocked the door to one and walked inside freely only to come back out and shut the door with a black leather jacket in hand. As he slipped it on though, his eyes wondered over to Jamie. Of course he was still there. It was Will’s brother for crying out loud. “You leaving too I’m assuming?” Lucas asked. Why wouldn’t he though?
