Personality: Maxiine is very free-spirited and laid back about the way she works, which is why she was promoted to the Juvenile Division. Her maturity and self-control gained her position due to being able to understand teenagers more than her older coworkers. Her sarcasm of course gets in the way and pushes her luck, yet her boss always cuts her slack. She's very tolerable and lasts quite a while until she explodes and snaps at the nearest person. Her experiences have left her a rather understanding person and she is willing to listen to anyone's problems if they need the shoulder to lean on.
Background: As someone of the law, most people wouldn't quite expect neglect, abandonment, and hefty amounts of parole officers to follow such a decorated girl. Yet, as assumed, Maxiine grew up in the house of a drug dealer and took care of herself, even after being tossed out onto the road once her parents couldn't pay to keep her alive, despite all of the extra drug money lying around in shoe boxes. She took the next step and tracked down one of her distant cousins to live with until she got her barings on what to do with herself now that the air was clear of smoke and disaster. Her education was completed and she decided to continue on to law school after she led the cops to her old home to let her parents know just how well she was doing without them and to make sure they got cozy and drug-free in their new prison cells. Max finished up law school and moved to LA, finding a job as a traffic cop and then being promoted once her Captain received the reference from her probation officers she gained while in college. During the traveling and hardwork, she decided that she wanted to help and show other teenagers just how successful one could be if they went the right direction.
