I dont know if the mods have already issued a warning to this guy but RafaleMace keeps necro-ing threads and bumping active threads off in the process.
Perhaps an auto lock feature might be in order for thread that goes over 120 days with no new posts that only the OP or a mod can lift?

A notification has already been sent to the concerned member regarding this. As for the issue, we're looking into locking threads by members that have been inactive for over a year. But this would need to be done manually, I don't think there's a way to automate the process, but don't quote me on that.

I've already PM'd him. He just wasn't paying attention to the dates and when he was looking he claimed to be rather tired (hence why he didn't look as closely). I'm one for giving benefit of the doubt. Anyway, autolock is a bit strong (nor a feature of the site at this time) since some people just don't bump their threads. I know my own req thread which is indeed active is on page 60-something and who knows how old. But, I don't feel the need to have it on page 1 nor have I edited it recently.

Just an example...........

Anyway, all we can do is go through and see what members have gone inactive and try and sift out which threads then need locking.

That seems like a lot of trouble, but I suppose it is the most inteligent thing to do since a computer can't tell the difference between inactivity and an intentional lack of bumpage...
Though, perhaps a little confirmation box might help? If it is as he said, then all he needed was a little reminder that old thread is old.
Don't know if thats possible or not, but it could help stem the flow of non-OP necro.
