UPDATE FOR SITE RULES:

A lot of us like to use graphics in our request threads be it for visual representations of a character, a scene, a pairing, anything. Others still like to use them in General Discussion or other various sections for a slew of other reasons. The point, however, is this:

01) If you are creating a thread that contains graphics of any kind that are explicit in content (and compliant with site rules), you MUST label the thread NSFW (not safe for work) or something along those lines so as to warn members that the thread contains such images.

02) If you are posting to an already created thread and your post contains graphics of an explicit nature (and are compliant with site rules), you MUST place them behind a spoiler tag. To create a spoiler tag -- [spoiler ]text or image goes here[/ spoiler] (just remove the extra spaces and if there are questions, contact a mod or admin... those whose names appear in green or red).

03) When it comes to avatars and signatures, staff asks that you use common sense and thought when ultimately deciding what to use. In the end, it is your choice here since those who are offended by the more explicit images and/or those who will be visiting the site in locations where they'd prefer others not see such graphic images pop up on their screens may indeed disable avatars and signatures via their User CP (again, if there are questions here, contact a mod or admin about how to do this).

Quick question: Does this include images that are linked, rather than simply displayed?

No worries.

But yeah. Basically, I'd hate for even a link to be up without some sort of warning as to what the link is.... just imagine being somewhere or with people you'd rather not see such explicit graphical content...... click... ooops. Just.... yeah. Text can be one thing, images another.
