Evie listened to what James had to say and then looked through the file Kim handed to her. The Black Underground was not particularly well known which was going to make finding information on them all the harder. The Yakuza on the other hand was. Even as far back as the 1990s, the Director of the FBI testified at a hearing on Asian organized crime before the U.S. Senate indicating that they had built one of the world's largest criminal organisations. The yakuza had made their presence felt in the United States principally in Hawaii, but also in California, Nevada and even New York. Yakuza members blend in easily in Hawaii because tourists from Japan and other Asian countries flock there. They invest in high-priced real estate, one of their favorite enterprises, and use the island state as a way station for crystal meth headed for the American mainland and firearms head back to Japan. They also work with local crime gangs, funneling tourists from Asia to gambling parlours, sex shows and bordellos in exchange for kickbacks from locals. In California they had made alliances with Korean and Vietnamese gangs and furthered their traditional partnerships with the Chinese triads. Los Angeles was particularly attractive because of the influx of young actresses desperate to get their big break in the film industry. Yakuza shills have become adept at luring these vulnerable women into porn films and prostitution. Japanese men, whether on sex tours or at home in Japan, often desire western women, particularly blondes. And like just about every American organised crime gang, the yakuza loved Las Vegas, where gambling—both legal and illegal—is everywhere. Showgirls and hookers are also plentiful in Vegas, and the yakuza are instrumental in steering Asian tourists to establishments owned by Americans who pay substantial "finder's fees."

Evie was looking at a picture of the girl mentally flicking through images in her head trying to find a match. Then they were joined by Thorn who outlined what they were looking at and who the girl was. Yakuza were generally men; outside of wives and daughters, there were few women who were members in their own right. And few people got to leave the Yakuza. As few were prepared to work with the Black Underground, chances were she wasn't evidence of a partnership between them and the Yakuza. Did that mean that the Yakuza were likely looking for her too - either to pull her back if she was a wife or daughter or to get rid of her. And maybe they would see the plates as a bonus - if they knew about them too. Evie looked at Thorn after he had explained about the missing paper.

"The paper is nothing without the plates right and vice versa? I don't want to sound stupid here, but surely you just stick to Loomis like glue and sooner or later you get him and the plates and maybe a couple of mob bosses and presumably one of them has the paper?"

Before Thorn or anyone else could say anything, another man walked in. Evie looked back at Tom after he had announced himself. She leaned back in her chair and smiled a little. "We have some mutual friends Agent Brody. Your reputation goes before you." She saw the question on his face and after she had simply responded with "NCIS", they watched the smile disappear. Evie couldn't help but chuckle at little to herself.

"Seems like we're popular." she said to Tom.

Brody scowled after hearing Evie speak the letters "NCIS." That was like rubbing salt into an open wound. It reminded Brody of the trouble he'd had with Callen & Sam since meeting them. Mostly, his trouble was with Sam and usually revolved around Sam's wife Michelle who worked as an undercover agent for the CIA. Michelle known as Quinn recently returned to active duty to help take down Sidorov, a Russian arms dealer who got his hands on some old Soviet nuclear bombs. " Not in my book. " Brody shot back when Evie said about them being popular. Tom rose up and extended his hand to greet the man. Brody just raised his hand about chest high, but he didn't take Tom's. He just did this to keep Tom from coming any closer. " I'm not here to make friends with you or your wild bunch Lieutenant....I'm here to let you know that I'm against your involvement in this case. " Brody was every bit the smug bastard Sam & Callen said he was. " I'm sure you and your team are fine at catching the local jaywalkers or hookers.......But you're playing with the big boys now......And I expect you and your team to toe the line.....I want to hear everything and anything that you find out.......Are we clear? " Tom looked over at Evie when Brody made his comment about them catching jaywalkers and how they were playing with the big boys now. After shaking his head, Tom looked at James before looking over at Kim. Tom was going to bring Brody down a few notches, but he decided to let his team have their say first. Evie & James each had looks on their faces like Brody had just lit a fire under their asses.

James was out of his seat and half way across the office to give Brody a piece of his mind ... close up. Evie was a second or two behind him but coming from a different direction. Her target wasn't Brody. Her target was James. Intercepting him before he got too close to Snyder. She stepped into his path and put her hands up. Almost instantly they were planted against James' chest and shoulder. She braced herself, then leaned forward into her brother, using her weight against him. She knew that if James was really serious, he would easily push her aside, at least enough to get partially past her.

"James. Let it go. He's not worth it. We don't need validation from him."

"We don't need to take shit from him either. He can't come into our house...."

"JAMES! He's a badge and a gun and nothing else, and according to G he can't use either well."

"Hey. You mind your place, Taylor. Both of you." Brody barked out defensively, but taking two very definite steps back, not entirely sure that Evie could hold James back.

Tom wasn't expecting James to become so physical because of Brody's words. He expected more of a witty verbal onslaught from James. Tom reached out and placed a hand on James's shoulder. He patted James's shoulder as if Tom was saying he'd handle this. Tom moved passed both James & Evie. He took a spot right in front of Brody. " Agent Brody.....Let's get one thing straight.....My team and I team work for the people in Los Angeles and California.......We don't work for you or anyone in Washington D.C.....Now......When and if we find out any information we'll try to remember to let you know........Until then......We have enough smog here in LA. " As Tom was speaking, he was slowly moving forward. This caused Brody to move backwards until he was out in the hall. Once Tom finished talking, he closed the main office door. Brody found himself staring at the words "Major Crime Unit." Tom turned around and returned to Evie's desk. Once everyone had calmed down, Tom asked Agent Thorn if he had anymore information to share on this case. Thorn said yes and returned to his briefcase. He pulled out a folder and started reading from it after it was opened. Thorn said that Loomis was on the run from the black underground and the FBI. He explained that without the plates that stolen paper wouldn't be of any use. This was why the black underground was hunting for Loomis. They wanted those plates and wouldn't let anyone get in their way. Thorn said it was believed that the North Koreans wanted the paper and confronted the black underground members. This confrontation ended in a bloody shootout on the streets of LA.

Thorn spoke of information he received from the TSA. He said agents from other countries had slipped into America. These agents used diplomatic visas and could be in Los Angeles. It wasn't clear why they came to America, but it wasn't a great stretch of the imagination to think that they were also after the plates and paper. Thorn promised more information on the agents once he got it. Tom asked Thorn why Loomis came to Los Angeles? Thorn wasn't sure, but it could be that he planned on meeting someone else to sell the plates. Thorn brought up the Yakuza as a possible buyer. " Anyone with enough cash would be a possibility........Even a local crime lord. " Thorn said as he tossed the folder back into his case and closed it. He added that Loomis would be looking for a quick payday and a fast exit from the country. South America could be a place where Loomis would go. He could also use the plates as a bargaining chip if Loomis sold the plates to a foreign power. They give him cash and a safe place to live. In return that Government gets prefect plates to create American money. Thorn stressed that the plates and the paper needed to be found, or destroyed. He also said that the Government wanted Loomis. He was to be taken alive if possible, but no one would shed a tear if Loomis ended up dead. In the eyes of the Government, Loomis was a traitor to his country and to the people. Thorn thanked everyone for their time. He picked up his case and left. " Does anyone else get the feeling that the Government is pushing this case on us in the hopes that Loomis ends up dead? " Tom asked as he looked around the room. It wasn't so hard to believe that the Government messed up and wanted this case buried quickly without a trail.

As Tom backed Brody out of the MCU, Evie patted James' chest as he relaxed back. She looked at him a little puzzled, but smiling.

"How much time have you been spending around big brother recently? One hot head is enough. You're supposed to be the sane man in the family."

"Callen's right. He's an arrogant dick who needs to recognise what he doesn't know." James was already heading back to his chair, although he couldn't help but think that maybe he had been spending too much time around Steve.

Meanwhile, as the MCU began to digest the information that Thorn had given then, a red corvette was spotted by a black and white unit in Echo Park. The black and white driven by Officer David Jackson pulled in behind it and fired up the sirens. The car pulled over. Jackson climbed out, whilst his partner, Officer Paul Cantonelli called it in. Cantonelli's report was interrupted by two rapid shots and he watched as Jackson crumpled on the floor and the red car sped away. Cantonelli's report suddenly became very different and a number of patrol cars began closing in on him and on where he said the red car was heading. Ultimately the car which took the lead in the chase was driven by Officer Pete Malloy. Around that time, the front desk called the MCU to let them know there was a chase on they might be interested in.

A few blocks away from where Officer Jackson got shot, Sergeant Pete Malloy & Officer Alyssa Reed in their patrol unit Adam 12 picked up the chase. They had received the be on the look out for this car earlier in their shift. Pete & Alyssa weren't far away when the call came in on the officer down. The red corvette flew past them while they sat at a stop sign. Pete hit the lights and siren as Alyssa called out the direction the chase was headed over the police radio. The watch commander decided to call the MCU squad room to let them know. The red corvette and the Asian female driving it were involved with their shooting case. Evie's desk phone rang and since Tom was sitting on her desk, he answered it. The phone call lasted only long enough for Tom to get the needed information. While hanging up the phone, Tom told everyone what was going on. He told James & Kim to keep digging for information. Tom then looked at Evie and said let's go. They headed out of the squad room and out of the building. Tom & Evie jumped into their unmarked police car which was parked out front and drove off. A few cars behind them, a black SUV pulled out and started following them. This was a tough job since Tom had the lights & siren going and he was weaving in & out of traffic. Alyssa's voice was loud & clear as she continued to say where the suspect's car was heading. Evie pointed out shortcuts they could take in order to get ahead of the fleeing car. On one of the sharp turns Tom made, he noticed Evie looking into the side mirror of their car. He looked into the rear view mirror and caught sight of a black SUV. This vehicle and whoever was driving it was trying to hang back, but still trying to keep sight of the unmarked police car. It was clear that Tom & Evie had a tail and they both knew it. Nothing had to be said between them.

Evie said that another right turn would put them ahead of the red corvette. Tom made that right while Evie grabbed the mic and ordered backup units into that intersection. Once reaching that area, Tom turned the steering wheel hard which turned the car blocking the cross streets. Tom & Evie jumped from their car and took up positions using the car as cover. Two black n whites arrived which Tom positioned to completely block off any chance the suspect would get away. Tom pulled his Desert Eagle as the sound of sirens grew nearer. Soon the red corvette appeared with three sets of flashing red and blues lights behind it. Evie used the radio and told the following units to block off the other end of the street. This way they would box the suspect in. The red corvette came to a screaming stop after seeing the police cars. Tom reached into the car and turned the radio from channel 1 to the PA system. " This is Lieutenant Reed of the MCU!......You've been boxed in and have no way out!.......Exit your car with your hands raised or we will fire on you! " Tom said into the microphone. He could see the Asian woman sitting behind the wheel. She looked behind her, then looked ahead. Her hands tightened around the steering wheel before she jammed her foot on the gas. The red corvette charged forward. Tom yelled for everyone expect for Evie to hold their fire. There was no need to shoot up the whole street. Plus two of the best shots in the department were facing the oncoming car. Tom & Evie started firing at the same time. Their first few rounds struck the car's hood and slowly worked up to the windshield. The glass fractured as the bullets smashed into it. The red corvette jerked hard right and smashed into a parked car only 10 yards from where Tom & Evie stood behind their own car. Tom, Evie and other officers rushed up to the car with the weapons ready. The woman was badly injured, but still alive. She let out a groan while turning her head to face Tom & Evie as they stood at the driver's side window looking in. " My friends will kill you both. " She said before slipping into an unconscious state. The paramedics rushed in as Tom & Evie moved away from the car. Tom noticed that black SUV sitting a few blocks down the street from where the intersection was blocked off. Someone was watching what Tom & Evie were doing. It could be Brody and his flunkies from the CIA. It could be the FBI, Homeland Security, or even the NSA. Hell, it could even be those friends of Yuko Takagi watching them. " Do you think our shadow enjoyed the show? " Tom asked Evie while watching the SUV closely. The windows were tinted so whoever was inside couldn't be seen.

They had been driving for maybe four or five blocks when Evie first thought they were being followed. As she ducked her head a little and looked in the side door mirror, she tried to remember when she first noticed it. Was it three turns ago? Four? It was new or damn near it. Smoked windows. Evie could see it was a Chevrolet. She thought it was the Traverse. Definitely an FBI type vehicle. Federal agency anyway. But then plenty of bad guys drove them too. Evie pulled her attention away from it. There was nothing she could do about it now and it was too far back to get a look at the plates. She looked up, got her bearings and told Tom that she thought they would be ahead of the corvette any second. She let Tom throw the car around the next corner, made the call on the radio and then braced for the sudden stop. She had a pretty good idea what Tom was going to do. Standard operating procedure.

And everything went according to plan... And expectation. None of them really expected the driver of the corvette to give herself up. Even as they watched her looking for the way out...a route which hadn't been left open to her... They were all fairly sure that she wasn't going to simply give up. She didn't disappoint. Tom and Evie stood their ground and fired steadily. They were in no rush. The car swerved, crashed, and they all headed towards it. Evie opened the door cautiously but she was aware that there were a dozen drawn weapons around her all trained on the driver. It looked like the wound was from the Glock. The Desert Eagle would have made a much bigger hole. As Evie reached in and undid the seat belt, the girl spoke her threat hoarsely. Evie looked at her.

"Lady, they won't be the first to try. And probably not the last."

As the girl was taken out of the car, Evie noticed Tom staring at something. She followed his gaze and saw the SUV and heard Tom's question.

"Maybe we should go and ask them!" The two of then started towards the vehicle but before they got too close the driver pulled out and hit the gas, disappearing into the traffic

Tom & Evie stopped dead in their tracks as the SUV drove off. It went down the street before turning at the first intercession. Whoever was inside that vehicle, certainly wasn't looking to talk. Tom figured it must be Brody's people trying to keep an eye on them. It would fit the actions of CIA Agents who were told to tail a couple of LAPD Detectives. Tom however knew that it could be anyone watching them. He was sure this town was crawling with spies and agents of all types. " Guess they didn't want to talk. " Tom said before he slowly started to turn around. He began telling Evie to make sure the car was searched, then his words trailed off. Tom noticed a couple of unknown women standing beside the car. One was a red head, the other a blonde. They appeared to be tourist standing there with cameras. " HEY! " Tom called out as he started walking back towards the car. " You ladies can;t be here......This is not a Hollywood film set......It's an LAPD crime scene. " Tom said before calling over an officer. He told the officer to take these ladies out of the area. Tom then yelled for Alyssa to lock down the this street. He didn't want anymore tourist wandering into the area. Tom told Evie to call the crime scene techs and get them down here to go over the car. He also told her to call James & Kim at the office. Tom wanted them at the hospital where Yuko Takagi was going. He wanted her questioned when she woke up. Tom pulled out his cell phone and called Chief Beck. Yuko would need to be guarded. It was possible that her friends would try and get her out of the hospital. The hospital would go on lock down while Yuko was under their care. Tom didn't just want the floor she was on closed. He wanted the whole hospital guarded by police officers 24/7. The Black Underground was that dangerous and Tom expected them too try to get Yuko free. Tom found out during the phone call that Officer Jackson was expected to make it. This was great news. Tom passed the information on to everyone at the scene. He also told everyone that no one comes near the car unless ether him or Evie gives an okay.

The two women who were taken way from the car. Stood with others watching the police move about. They spoke to each other about missing the chance to search the vehicle. The one with red hair said she would have only needed a few minutes. They just didn't get the time needed. These two women weren't speaking in English while they talked. They were speaking in Russian. The red headed commented on how pretty the America female detective was. She said how it was a shame they couldn't get to know her better. The two girls smiled as Evie looked their way. It was almost like Evie knew someone was talking about her even though she couldn't hear these women. They were to far away for that. The girls gave Evie playful smiles and winks. Tom had slipped on a pair of rubber gloves. He was going to start searching the car. Tom noticed Evie looking towards the two women he kicked out of the crime scene just moments ago. These women reminded Tom of those two girls he & Evie met at the bar in Hawaii. They never did get the chance to hook up with those girls. " Your fan club can wait.......We have work to do. " Tom teased Evie before he started looking through the car.

Evie watched the SUV disappearing... and watched the space it disappeared into thinking of all the possibilities it might be. Of course, there were a limited number of good guys and a potentially unlimited number of bad guys. Part of her even thought about it possibly being the press... was this Brent McBride on the comeback? Her attention was then brought back to the present by Tom shouting. She turned to see Tom heading over to the car and two women who were stood there with cameras. Evie followed Tom but didn't say anything. She smiled a little as Alyssa visibly 'jumped to it' when her Dad told her to lock down the scene. Evie called the techs as asked, spoken to Greg and heard him say they would be there in about 15 minutes. She then called James and let him know what Tom wanted.

As she pushed her phone back into her pocket, she suddenly had the feeling she was being watched. She looked back to where the SUV had been. It hadn't come back. But then she looked around at the onlookers. Quickly she saw the two tourists that Tom had moved away from the car. She looked at them for a moment. They were good looking women. But for some reason, Evie didn't get the feel that they were tourists. She didn't know why. And tourists didn't normally take much notice of LA cops. As Tom called out to her, Evie looked over. She felt herself blush a little. She took a quick glance back to both women and then headed to the passenger door to help out in the search of the car.

Tom checked around the driver's side seat, but found nothing of any importance. A couple of empty coffee cups were sitting in holders in between the seats. Tom removed the lid from the cup nearest to the driver. He took a quick sniff and told Evie it smelled like hazelnut macchiato. Tom did the same to the other cup. It smelled like chocolate mocha. Yuko & her friend weren't regular coffee drinkers. Tom returned to searching around the front seat. He found a pistol hidden under the driver's seat. Tom removed the clip and the shell from the chamber. He placed the weapon and bullets on the seat. Tom pushed the back of the seat forward. On the back seat Tom found a woman's coat. It was a light fabric, dark gray in color and short, only coming down to the waist. Tom checked the coat by running his hands over the pockets. This caused a noise to come from one pocket. Tom smiled as he reached into the pocket. He pulled out a motel room key. This was the older type of metal key and not the newer credit card key. " I think it's time we spend sometime in a motel. " Tom said while holding the key up for Evie to see. There was a plastic piece which the key was attached too. It read Dixie Motel Room 14. This motel was in the Compton area of Los Angeles on East El Segundo Boulevard. It was a rougher part of LA. One which terrorist would be comfortable in. Tom slipped the key into his coat pocket. He pushed the seat back and pulled the car keys from the ignition. Tom stood up from the car and walked around to the rear. He slipped the key inside and unlocked the trunk. Tom let out a whistle when his eyes caught sight of what was inside. There was a small bag holding 6 blocks of plastic explosives. Two shotguns, four pistols and three AK-71's. Tom called Alyssa over to the car. He told her to tag & bag everything in the truck once the crime scene techs went over it.

It wasn't as if she needed to tell Tom, and in truth it was more that she was speaking out loud when Evie said that they needed to find a judge to authorise a warrant. Rulings from the courts had made it clear that the police could search hotel rooms when the occupants have either checked out or given up their interest in the room and the hotel manager/owner consents to the search (which they usually did). If the occupants were still staying in the room then a search warrant was needed or they were going to need consent from the driver who was right now being loaded into an ambulance because despite her condition, she still had a reasonable expectation of privacy in the room. They couldn't search a hotel room based solely on probable cause - and they certainly had probable cause - but that was what was going to get them the warrant. Another visit to Judge Hardcastle was in order. Tom and Evie climbed into the car. Evie called James and asked him to draw up the paperwork for the warrant request, providing him with all of the details he needed to include as Tom drove to the MCU. By the time they had arrived at the MCU, James had everything in order and they were there for less than five minutes - the time it took for Tom to fill James and Kim in on what had happened and what they had found in the car. As Tom filled them in, Evie phoned the Judge's office and found out he was in court. So that was where they headed.

It only took 15 minutes to get to the court. The clerk at the main desk advised them which court room Judge Hardcastle was working in and both of them headed upstairs. They had to wait for a few minutes until he finished with a DUI but Milton Hardcastle had seen Tom and Evie loitering at the back of his court. When he was done he waved them forward. Both walked up to the bench and Evie outlined the case. It took less than 30 seconds for Hardcastle to sign it, more than happy that the requisite standard had been met. He sent them both on their way with a good luck.

When they got to it, the motel room was nothing special. It barely looked lived in. There was a small overnight back sitting on a chair but it hadn't even been unpacked. There was just t-shirts, jeans and underwear in it. The bed was made but it had definitely been slept in. The kid at the front desk and confirmed that the woman had booked in two days ago. Tom checked out the bathroom but there was nothing unusual or out of the ordinary in there. As he checked behind the shower curtain and found nothing, he heard Evie calling him. He went back through to the main room. She was stood near the desk holding a take out bag she had taken out of the trash basket.

"Why would someone staying in a motel in Compton have take out from the Beijing Pie House?" She saw a slightly puzzled look on Tom's face. "The Beijing Pie House is in Monterey Park."

Before leaving the crime scene. Tom handed over command to Sergeant Pete Malloy. He would be the ranking officer on scene after Tom & Evie left anyway. It was just a formality, but protocol required Tom to make the exchange of command verbally. Once Tom & Evie were on their way back to the station. It wasn't long before they again had a tail. This tail had grown longer since the SUV was back, along with Evie's playful girl friends. The two beautiful Russian women were really Major Anya Amasova, the red head and Captain Katrina Rakov, the blonde. Both women were former members of the Russian Army who now worked for the Russian Federal Security Service known as the FSB. The two women spoke openly of how it would be nice to play with the pretty America police officer. But Anya reminded her comrade that they weren't on a vacation here. They had a job to do and they couldn't allow the America police to get in their way. Anya felt that keeping an eye on the police was a good idea. It was possible that these police officers could lead them to either Loomis, or the black underground. Ether way, Anya & Katrina would have a jump on the other world agents looking for the plates & paper. The North Koreans had been taken out of the game. It would be a while before they could get more agents inside America. By then, the North Koreans would be far behind in the chase for control over the US economy.

Tom & Evie weren't at the station long. They left, heading for the courthouse. They stay was a bit longer at the courthouse since Judge Hardcastle was busy. Once the warrant was signed, Tom & Evie were back on the streets. During the drive to the motel, Tom commented about the tail growing longer. Evie watched in the side mirror until she spotted the second vehicle. There was a dark blue, late 90's model Chevy Caprice between them and the black SUV. Tom pulled the unmarked police car into the motel parking lot. They made a stop at the managers office just long enough to flash the warrant and say where they'd be. Tom & Evie moved on to the room, drew their weapons and entered. The pair moved around slowly at first. They checked the room carefully before making sure no one was hiding in the bathroom. Once the rooms were checked, Tom & Evie set about to look for clues. The room seemed a little too clean. It made Tom wonder if this room was only used in case members of the black underground needed a safe house. Tom walked around finding nothing that would help them. He had gone into the bathroom which was cleaner then it should have been. Tom notice that the bath towels and wash rag were still folded neatly. It was obvious that they hadn't been used. Tom heard Evie calling to him. He left the bathroom and returned to the main part of the motel room. Tom looked at the bag which Evie was holding. It wasn't the best clue they ever had, but it was something to check into. It was always possible that they would get lucky. " Let's go check out the Pie House. " Tom said before he and Evie left the room. After getting back into the car. Tom pulled his Desert Eagle from his shoulder holster. He removed the clip which only had four shots left in it. Tom replaced it with a fully loaded clip before returning the weapon to his holster. He commented that since their tail had grown. It would be better if he had a fully loaded clip in his pistol. As Tom pulled out from the motel, he saw the black SUV tagging along. The blue caprice had stayed behind. The two women exited form the car and headed for the motel.

Evie agreed. She followed Tom out, closing the door behind her and making sure that it had locked. They handed the keys back in to the main office and then got into the car. As Tom checked and reloaded his weapon, Evie couldn't help but smile to herself. He was obviously expecting trouble - but these days, she was quite happy that he did with the way that trouble seemed to follow him - and now her - wherever they went.

They pulled out of the hotel car park and within 100 yards, Tom told Evie that the SUV was back. She looked in her wing mirror and then, realising that the SUV knew that they had been spotted yesterday, she turned in her seat and looked out the back.

"Who do you think they are?" Tom looked at her and grinned.

"Let's find out." And then he put his foot down hard. Evie groaned inside, turned back in her seat and grabbed hold of the seatbelt. She didn't put it on but kept a tight hold, ready for when Tom decided to swing the car hard around the corner. Periodically she looked in the mirror trying to see if the SUV stayed with them. It did. And it was closing the distance between them - although she was in no doubt that Tom was allowing them to close the distance without making it look like that was what he was trying to do. Tom threw the car into one turn after another. The SUV stayed glued to them.

'That looks as good a spot as any." Tom turned the car into a large, almost empty parking lot. She imagined the driver of the SUV telling his passenger that they had them now as Tom had turned into a dead end. Evie gripped the belt tighter as Tom turned the steering wheel hard and swung the car round at the same time as breaking hard. A perfectly executed hard hand brake turn which brought their car almost nose on to the SUV. The SUV hadn't been expecting the move. The driver only just managed to bring the van to a halt before it ran into the hood of the unmarked police car.

By the time it had stopped though and the driver and passenger had gotten their wits about them, Evie and Tom were both out of their cars. Tom had already jumped up, stepped over and then jumped down from the hood of the police car. Tom headed for the driver's door as Evie headed for the passenger door. Almost in unison, they both opened their respective doors and grabbed hold of the occupants who - fortunately - had not been wearing seat belts. The surprise and the momentum that Evie and Tom were bringing to bear allowed them to pull the occupants out. Tom had no real difficulty in getting the driver out. He was significantly bigger and definitely a lot stronger. Evie on the face of it shouldn't have had a chance. Maybe it was the surprise assault. Maybe it was that the passenger wasn't very good at fighting and defending himself, but Evie was dropping the passenger into and over the hood and then cuffing him only seconds behind Tom did with the driver. It had been a long time since she had used these kinds of skills - probably all the way back to her days in uniform. She could imagine McWilliams giving her a 'you were lucky, Taylor. You're technique is just about passable I suppose.'.

"Okay. You want to tell me why you have such an interest in me and my partner?" Tom grabbed hold of the driver at the back of the neck, pulled him up and spun him round, pushing him back into the upright on the windscreen of the SUV. Evie still had the other man folded forward over the hood as she searched the man's pockets. She pulled out a wallet. Opened it. Her heart sank.

"Tom... " Tom didn't give any sign that he had heard Evie as he asked the driver who he was. "Tom!"

"What?" Evie held open the ID. "Isreali ID." she said. The man in front of Tom grinned a little.

"I think you need to take the cuffs off Detective... before your State Department decide that you have caused an international incident. The level of English was very good, but there was a very clear Middle Eastern accent. Tom stared at the man, reluctant to take the cuffs off but inside knowing that he probably didn't have much choice.

Tom knew that he didn't have much choice, but that didn't mean he couldn't make these tow sweat a little. He searched the driver and found his ID. Tom looked it over while keeping the driver pinned down. " So you boys are Israeli Mossad?......A long way from home aren't ya? " Tom knew that he was stretching things a bit, but he was enjoying this since they tailed him & Evie all over town. " You know......These ID's could be fake......You two could be illegal aliens......I'd be shirking my duties as a police officer if I didn't check you two out. " The driver continued to protest, but Tom told him to save for the UN. Tom pulled out his cell phone and made a quick call. He called the one person in Los Angeles who would give him a straight answer on these two. " Hetty?.......It's Tom Reed......I need a favor. " Tom called Henrietta Lange the operations manager of the NCIS Office of Special Projects in Los Angeles. Hetty was able to identify these men as Mossad agents. Tom thanked Hetty for her help before he slipped his phone back into his pocket. " Well....You win some....You lose some. " Tom said while he removed the cuffs from the driver. As it turned out, the driver was Aharon Weidenfeld and his partner was Zalman Katzir. After letting the two agents go, Tom asked them why they had been following them all day? Aharon said they had to make sure Tom & Evie were working for the right side. This made Tom & Evie look at each other, No one had ever questioned their loyalty before. Aharon explained that in their part of the world. Just because someone should be on your side, they always weren't. The world is full of double agents he added. Aharon said that they came here to help stop the back underground and Loomis. He said any trouble with the American economy would hurt Israel as well. It made sense to Tom who remained silent as Aharon spoke. Aharon then removed folders from his vehicle. He gave these folders to Tom. Aharon said these folders held information on enemy agents working in Los Angeles. He said these agents were here to get the plates & the special paper. The first folder was about two Chinese agents. The second was on two Iranian agents. The third was eye opening for both Tom & Evie. It was on two female Russian FSB agents named Major Anya Amasova and Captain Katrina Rakov. " Here's your girlfriends. " Tom teased Evie as he handed her their folder. The two Israeli agents were puzzled by Tom's joke. Tom just smile and said it was an inside joke.

Tom thanked Aharon & Zalman for the information. He told them not to be strangers next time. The two Israel agents returned to their SUV and left. Tom & Evie got in their car and headed for the station. Tom made another call on route. He called James to find out what was going on at the hospital. James said everything wa quite so far. No one from the black underground had showed up to get Yuko. James also said that she wasn't the most talkative person he had ever met. She seemed more interested in spitting out curses then talking about her past. James added that Kim was trying again to pump some information out of her. Tom said that he & Evie would be in the office for a while. James was to make sure security was extra heavy before he & Kim called it a night. Tom & Evie spent the rest of their day reading about the three agent teams running around Los Angeles. Of all the teams, it seemed that the Russians were the closest to finding both the paper and Loomis. Tom wondered if there was a way they could throw everyone including the Russians off track?

Evie undid the cuffs on Katzir and the two of them walked around to the same side of the SUV as Tom and Weidenfeld were. As Weidenfeld handed the files to Tom, he held them a little on an angel so that Evie could look at what he was seeing. When Tom made reference to Evie's girlfriends, she couldn't help but blush a little and the two agents opposite immediately began thinking the same thing. The same general images appeared in their minds. As Tom and Evie looked down at the file, the two men looked at each other and smirked, both wondering what exactly the inside joke might be. Once the pleasantries were done, Tom and Evie watched both men climb inside the SUV and disappear back out of the parking lot.

"Do you still want to check out the restaurant?" Evie asked as she turned to head back to the car. Tom conceded that he didn't expect to find anything there but thought they should better check it out just in case. Tom drove back to the station via Monterey Park. As expected there was nothing there. Obviously the girl in the hospital had simply found a decent place to get asian food. They went back to the empty office and pulled up everything they could on their 'rivals'. Tom had given the Russian file to Evie, again joking that maybe she should find out a little more about them seeing as they had clearly taken a shine to her. Evie had simply smirked and taken the file, ignoring the teasing. At a little after 6, they called it a day and Tom checked that James and Kim had checked out too.

Back on the boat, Tom took a shower whilst Evie started cooking dinner. As she was just starting the steaks to go with bald potato and salad, Tom reappeared and opened a couple of cold bottles of beer, using one of them to make Evie squeal as he slipped it under the back of her shirt as he came up behind her. She had expected nothing more than a hand on her waist or perhaps a kiss at her neck as he looked over her shoulder to see how she was cooking the steak - to make sure that she wasn't over-cooking his. Fortunately the steaks were a few minutes away from being ready as the trick with the bottle degenerated into a loud brief playful fight. Evie had fetched some ice from the freezer and was threatening revenge. Tom was telling her she wasn't going to get near him. She knew he was probably right and eventually had no choice but to return her attention to the food - otherwise they would have both been eating well-done steaks.

They enjoyed dinner with the TV on in the background which in turn generated a lot of the conversation. Afterwards, Tom said he would clean up whilst Evie took a shower and then they could have a quiet drink on deck. When Evie got out of the shower, Tom was already on deck. Evie fetched a couple of ice cubes and then went upstairs. Coming up behind him she was sure she would just be able to drop them down the back of his neck, but he knew her too well. In the end another mock fight had broken out which finished this time with Evie pinned to the floor and Tom sitting astride her, pinning her hands over her head, the melting ice water seeping through her fingers. Evie could hardly talk for squealing and laughing. Tom in the end silenced her by simply leaning down and kissing her hard until she relented. Once that happened he picked her up and sat down on one of the chairs and then placed her on his lap. It didn't take long before his cock was buried inside her and the both enjoyed a long slow fuck in the evening air.

The following morning, Evie got up early as usual, leaving Tom to have another hour in bed. Evie got dressed in a pair of dark shorts and a white vest, slipped her running shoes on and headed out.
Evie was running her 10k route in around the 44 minute mark. She was still a way off the sub-40 that Sam expected to get too over the next few weeks but gradually her times had been coming back down. It was a beautiful spring morning. By 5.30am, the sun was already set in a clear blue sky and the temperature was up at 15 degrees. There was a pleasant breeze coming in off the ocean as Evie headed out of the marina. She ran on intervals. A few miles at one steady pace then picking it up for a few miles then letting it slip back. Over time, the faster intervals got longer until eventually she would be running the whole 10K at the faster pace – then Sam would expect her to pick up the pace again. As she ran along the pathway at the top of the beach, ahead of her she could see two women sitting at the bottom of a set of steps which led down from the road. Initially she didn’t think anything of it but as she got closer, she picked out that it was a blonde and a red head. Closer still and she saw both of them look in her direction and then stand up. She recognized both of them and gradually slowed down her run. It was the two women she had seen at the crime scene yesterday. The two ‘tourists’ whom she now knew to be Russian agents. Evie wasn’t big on coincidences. As she dropped to a walk the two women stepped out so that one was on either side of the pathway. Evie needed to walk between them to pass so she stopped a few paces away, looking from one to the other, rather than move between them.

“Can I help you?”

The two women exchanged looks and smiled. Both of them had ideas of how this American woman might be able to help them – and they weren’t necessarily things that their commanding officers would approve of. But then again….?! The redhead looked around and saw that there was no-one else about. She looked up and commented on how beautiful the day was.

“It is.” Evie said. The redhead looked at Evie and took a step closer, taking her time as she looked Evie up and down. Evie tensed a little but held her ground.

“You like to run?” The red head said. Evie wondered whether she was in charge. Certainly the blonde wasn’t saying much. Evie nodded. “Yes.”

“You are very… athletic… very… physically fit.” The redhead reached out and drew a finger softly over Evie’s shoulder and down her upper arm.

“Thank you. Lots of people in this town like to run. Hang around here a little longer and you’ll see plenty of them. And you still haven’t answered my question. What do you want?”

“I think you should join us for breakfast, Detective.” Evie looked a little puzzled. She stared back at the redhead. “And why would I want to do that... Major?!” Evie smiled a little sarcastically. Anya smiled back realizing that Evie knew who she was. “Because we could be of help to each other… And because you are far too curious to simply walk away.” She stepped back and gave Evie another look up and down. “Come. Let us buy you a coffee … just up the steps here. I think we have much to discuss.” Truth was, Amasova was right. Evie wasn't going to walk away. She wanted to know exactly what they had to talk about. She looked at Rakov and then back. Then she gave a slight nod. Amasova stepped aside and indicated Evie should go first. Evie hesitated for a moment but then did as she was asked. Both Russian woman took the opportunity to check out Evie's ass and legs and they climbed the short set of steps. Rakov went to the counter of the coffee bar and ordered three black coffees while Amasova indicated for Evie to take one of the tables not to fair from the steps they had just come up. Coffee in the open air, overlooking the ocean. It was something that Evie and Tom did quite a lot at the weekends. A simple pleasure.

Evie sat down on one of the chairs. Amasova moved her chair closer and sat down. When Rakov returned, she sat on the other side of Evie. There was no-one else in sight. Evie was puzzled that she still hadn't said anything. She knew that she had to speak English pretty good; perhaps she was just a woman of few words. Amastova started the conversation, talking softly. She spoke of how they both knew they were looking for the same things. How they could maybe do much better if they worked together. As she said the word together, Evie felt something at her neck and turned to look quickly. Rakov was brushing some loose hair from her shoulder, smiling a little and at the same time, Evie felt a hand coming onto her knee. Rakov's touch was soft. Evie opened her mouth to say something but no words came. Amastova reached up and took hold of Evie's chin, bringing her head round to look at her again.

"Major. I don't think..." At that moment, a young waiter brought the three coffees. Amastova removed her hand from Evie's chin, but under the table, Rakov merely slipped her hand higher up Evie's thigh. The conversation stopped, except for Amastova thanking the man for the coffees and he placed each one down and then left.

"You should hear me out Detective and then you can go and finish your run and think about my... offer." Evie said nothing. The Major picked up her cup and took a drink. "It's very good coffee. Try some." Evie picked up the cup and sipped at it as the Captain's hand continued to stroke her thigh softly. The Major outlined that they could work together; share information. Of course, it would mean that the paper and the plates would finish up in Russian hands, but she assured Evie that they could make it very very worth her while. There was no way of course that Evie was going to voluntarily allow the Russians to take the means by which they could produce an unlimited supply of US money. But perhaps there was some way to get a mutual benefit from this. If the Russians were the closest to finding one or the other... she really needed to talk to Tom. They needed to agree a plan. When Amastova had finished, she took a pen from her purse and took a small napkin from the table. She jotted down a cellphone number on it and then slowly slipped the napkin into the front of Evie's vest, letting her fingers slip the paper under the edge of her sports bra. As she withdrew her fingers, she trailed them up Evie's neck and onto her cheek. Evie stared back at her. it was then that Rakov spoke for the first time.

"And there could be other benefits to working together too... I think you'd like that Detective." evie looked around, a little puzzled. Why would she come to that conclusion. Rakov smiled and leaned in a little. "You haven't asked me to take my hand away. I think you like how it feels." Evie felt her cheeks flush crimson. Rakov laughed out loud.

"Katrina. Stop teasing Evie. Evie..." she waited until Evie looked at her again. "I think you should finish your run now. You have to make sure you are fit enough for your fight don't you." Evie almost asked how she knew that, but there could be no doubt that the FSB had looked into both Tom and Evie in the same way as Evie and Tom had spent yesterday afternoon looking into both of them. Evie felt the hand being pulled off her leg and Katrina stood up and moved out from the table. Evie followed suit.

"Call me. Soon Detective. Don't make us wait too long now." Evie hesitated for a moment, gave a short nod and then she headed back down the steps and ran back to the boat. She charged down the stairs, calling out to Tom. He had just come out of the shower and was still in a towel. She relayed the events of her run - most of them - and Tom found the whole thing very amusing.

"I guess we had better spend the morning working out what information you can give to your girlfriends then and how you can make sure that you get something useful in return."

Anya & Katrina walked away and disappeared. Katrina said she fully expected Evie to help them. Anya wasn't so sure they could talk Evie into helping them. Katrina then made a bet with Anya that Evie would call before lunch time. Anya smiled while taking that bet. Katrina said that they should invite Evie to the gym at the Russian Consulate in Los Angeles. There they could act freely and control everything that happened. Anya agreed, but doubted that Evie would call. The two women went to their car. They had other work to do before returning to the consulate.

Tom left the bathroom upon hearing Evie call out his name. He wasn't wearing the towel just then, but put it around his waist as Evie began tell her story. Tom listened as she spoke of how those two Russian agents were waiting for her along the path. Evie almost always ran the same way every morning. Tom figured that the Russians had been watching Evie for sometime. They went into the kitchen for some coffee before sitting down in the living room. They didn't have much to go on right now. So they really couldn't provide any false information. Tom however believed that Evie could call them and express her desire to help them. He told Evie that she could say how much she liked being with them and wanted more attention. The type of attention that they seemed wiling to give. Tom suggested that Evie call the number and start to spin her web. They could then guide the two Russian agents like puppets. Tom told Evie that she could have time off if the Russians wanted to met with her. He thought that they would request a meeting once Evie made her call. Tom was sure that Evie's willingness to help would be enough for them.

Meanwhile, sitting in a rundown hotel room in downtown LA. Loomis was having second thoughts about all of this. He was sure by now damn near everyone was looking for him. Loomis no longer felt safe even being out on the streets. Just last night while at a hot dog stand. Loomis spotted Ryder Bonn drive by in a car. It scarred Loomis, but he was sure Ryder hadn't seem him. Ryder Bonn was Heinrich's older brother and the leader of the black underground. He came to Los Angeles after hearing of his brother's death. Ryder was even now working hard to find Loomis. His people were torturing anyone who they thought could give them information on where Loomis was hiding. Ryder was told that Yuko was in a local hospital, but as expected, the police had her well guarded. It was well known that Yuko wouldn't talk. She was to well trained for that. Ryder would rescue her in time, but for now Loomis was more important.

As the two of them sat on the sofa, Tom couldn't hide his amusement at the whole thing. Even without knowing how the Russian agents had been with her that morning, he guessed - quite correctly as it happened - that they might have more than just an information exchange in mind, based on how they had acted the previous day at the crash scene. Evie was trying to ignore his enjoyment of the situation but she couldn't deny that it was quite amusing.

She wasn't quite sure whether contacting the Russians back was a good idea; deep inside though she thought another meeting might prove interesting. Tom told her to go and get a shower whilst he dressed. They'd get some breakfast and Evie could work out what she was going to say. Over breakfast, they decided that a call straight away would look a little too keen - might arouse suspicion. So Tom would head to the office and Evie would leave it a little while and call maybe around lunch time. Before Tom left, he told Evie to find something nice to wear; not too obvious but she shouldn't look like she was going to church either. Tom gave her a kiss and a friendly smack on her ass, telling her to call him as soon as she had made the call to the Russians.

It was a long morning. Evie went through most of her wardrobe but until she knew where and when they were meeting, she didn't have a clue about what to wear. Evie spent the entire time clock watching - and time didn't seem to go very quickly. She managed to leave it until a little after 1 o'clock before she picked up her cell phone and called the number Anya had written on the napkin. She heard the ring. She waited. Resisting the urge to change her mind and hang up. Then the ringing stop and she held the familiar accented voice.

"Da."

"Hi... it's... it's Evie Taylor." Evie felt her heart pounding. She could almost imagine the smug grin on the Major's face as she recognised who it was.

"Well hello Detective. It's good to hear from you. Really good."

There was a long silence. Evie wasn't quite sure what to say. Anya waited. She liked the fact that Evie sounded nervous.

"Maybe... maybe we could...meet... talk a little more about your suggestion.. from this morning. I... I need to know a little more about how it would work... I would be risking a lot."

"We can arrange that, of course. It would be ... our pleasure to meet you again. This morning was very enjoyable - it was a shame that it was such a short meeting... in such a public vista. I'm sure Katrina will feel the same." There was silence again. Anya liked the silence very much. She could almost feel how tense thew American woman was. "Would you like to meet again today? This afternoon perhaps?"

"Sure. I... I can do that." Evie was trying not to sound too eager and in truth the tension wasn't all acting.

"Evie. Why don't you come to the Consulate. We have gym here. You could train a little perhaps. It would be more private than this morning. Would you like that?"

"erm... I...yes...that... that sounds... I'd like that very much. What time? Do I just walk in the front door?"

"Why don't you come over as soon as you can. I will advise the officer on the front desk and he will call either Kristina or myself. Does that sound acceptable?"

"Yeah... that's fine. Thank you."

"Not at all. I am very pleased you called me Evie. I'm looking forward to seeing you again."

Anya pressed the button and ended the call. She looked at her friend and smiled. Then she reached into her purse, found her wallet and took out a $20 bill which she handed over. Katrina smiled and took the money.

Evie let out a long held breath as she put the phone down. She calmed herself down and then called Tom. He seemed pleased with the arrangements and told Evie to have fun. Evie dressed casual. Jeans. Sneakers. A fitted blouse which she left open at the collar a little lower than usual. She packed a gym bag, not really sure what kind of gym she was going into. High class exclusive luxury end Beverly Hills type - or the type that Steve went too. She threw in a clean pink sports bra and a cropped t-shirt and a pair of black shorts plus her tennis shoes. Hopefully she would cover both ends of the spectrum and anything in between.

She climbed in the mustang, butterflies flapping around in her tummy. She drove to a few blocks away from the consulate and then walked the short distance. She headed straight up the steps and through the heavy glass and aluminium doors. Trying to look confident. A man behind the desk immediately stood up. He wore a Russian army uniform. He said nothing, leaving Evie to explain who she was and who she had come to see. And then she waited.

The officer looked Evie up and down while she spoke. He didn't have the normal look of want like some men who stared at Evie. His look was more like common street trash had just walked through the door. Added to that was his Russian superiority belief. He acted as if Evie's request to see Major Amasova was beneath him. The man looked disgusted as he picked up the phone and made the call. Words were exchanged in Russian before the man hung up the phone. In very broken English, he told Evie to wait. The man returned to his sit and his paperwork. Perhaps two minutes later, Anya appeared dressed in a black suit coat, white shirt, black tie and pants. She walked down a set of stairs at the far left of where the officer was sitting. " I'm so glad you came Evie......You look even more beautiful then earlier this morning. " Anya said as she came up to Evie. She took Evie into her arms before kissing both of Evie's cheeks. " Come......We have something special in store for you.......A special training session with Katrina.......She is quite good as a fighter.......Katrina was army champion in her weight class before joining the FSB. " Anya said while wrapping her arm around Evie's the two women then walked arm in arm over to the stairs. Anya continued to talk as the climbed to a landing and moved to more stairs. She told Evie about seeing video of her fight with Cahill. Anya said she was very impressed with how Evie could handle herself in a fight. " Even in my country......Men think all women are weak.......Just pretty play things for them to look at........But you and I know we are much more than that......Don't we? " Anya wore a charming smile as she spoke. She always kept her arm wrapped around Evie's. Anya always kept Evie moving where she wanted her to go. Soon they reached large double doors at the end of a long hallway. Anya finally let Evie's arm go free as she opened the doors.

The room on the inside wasn't like any gym Evie had seen before. It was beautiful and a bit over the top for a gym. There was works of art hanging on the walls. The frames were ether done in gold or silver. There were large Chinese type vases placed in the four corners. All types of gym equipment were placed around the room. In the middle of the room was a boxing type ring. Inside the ring Katrina was dancing around throwing lefts and rights. She was sparring with a man who was twice her size. Another man stood inside the ring looking on. He was serving as referee for the up coming bout between Katrina & Evie. Katrina finally noticed Evie & Anya. She broke off with the man and walked to the ropes. Katrina removed her mouth piece and looked down at Evie. " I'm very pleased you came.......Why don't you go get changed and join me?.......We can show these men how real warriors fight. " Katrina said while leaning on the ropes.

The entrance lobby for the Consulate was a large open space with a big staircase coming down in towards the middle of the room from the far side. The floor was marble and Evie's sneakers squeaked a little as she paced, waiting for the Major. The staircase itself was heavy dark wood and there was a red carpet which ran up the middle. On the one wall was a line of portraits... Soviet and Russian Premiers since the time of the Revolution. In each corner was the white, blue and red tricolour flag. As she was looking around, trying not to look too uncomfortable under the constant stare of the officer behind the desk, she head the footsteps and turned around to look to the stairs and saw Anya descending. She looked very stylish in the suit. Evie guessed she was maybe 10 years older than her but she looked very good. She certainly suited the power dressing.

Evie returned the welcoming smile and felt her cheeks flush a little at the compliment.

"Thank you Major. You also look... Very.... Beautiful." Evie leaned forward just a little as the exchanged soft kisses on each other's cheeks. When Anya stepped back and started telling her about what they'd arranged, she reached up one hand and gently brushed some smudged lipstick from Evie's cheek; a light mark left from Anya's full lips. And then she wrapped her arm around Evie's and led her up the stairs and along the corridor. Everything was oak panelled. Thick lush red carpets covered the floor on the upper level. Evie was a little surprised to hear they had a copy of her MMA fight video. She started to try and think how they might have got it....it wasn't exactly on public release. But she was soon distracted as she was led into the gym. Evie could hardly believe what she was seeing.

"Jeez. This is one hell of a gym. Got to be the most opulent in this town and it will have some pretty stiff competition. Anya simply smiled and led her towards the ring. Only then did Evie recognise Katrina. Katrina looked strong. She was well built...with muscle tone that was much more obvious now she was in gym kit rather than normal clothes. Evie looked up at Katrina as she outlined what they were going to do. How could Evie say no. She smiled and nodded and then felt Anya's arm wrapping around hers again and she was shown into the changing rooms. Again very plush. Oak lockers and benches. Anya led Evie to a spot midway down the row of lockers, opened one and then leaned against those next to it. Evie realised that she was going to stand there as she got changed. Anya started talking about the building as Evie began to undress. She slipped her training shoes on, exchanged her jeans for her shorts and replaced the white blouse and Victoria secret lace bra with the sport bra cropped top.

"Vladimir will help you with the gloves outside. Come." Anya held out her hand to Evie. Evie nodded and took her hand and let her lead her back out to the gym. Anya and Katrina, the man who had been sparring and the man who had been watching all had a discussion in Russian as to what was going to happen while Evie loosened up, but they were all watching her as she stretched her limbs and warmed up her muscles. After a few minutes Anya told Evie to sit on a stool in the one corner of the ring. The big man Katrina had been sparring with helped Evie with her gloves, as Anya said Katrina thought they could just do a couple of rounds and Ilias would be the referee. As she spoke she brushed some hair out of Evie's face and smiled.

"I do like watching two beautiful women fighting. Such a contrast. Beauty and power. So much more exciting that just watching two great brutes dancing around." She brushed a finger down Evie's cheek, smiled and then walked to the opposite corner and spoke to Katrina. Katrina smiled and nodded. And then the two women kissed. Not on the cheek this time. It was not a deep or hard kiss but it was more than a quick peck. Then Anya climbed from the ring and sat on a wooden chair which was provided by Ilias before he climbed back into the ring. Vladimir stepped outside and Evie stood up as Ilias moved to the centre of the ring. Ilias waved both girls to him. And then Evie heard a bell being rung.

The last item which both Evie & Katrina had to put on was their protective headgear. This was just a friendly fight and not a full on MMA bout. Anya lit up a cigarette while she watched Evie & Katrina approach each other in the ring. Ilias signaled for the bell to ring before he backed off. Katrina threw a right which Evie avoided easily. For the next few moments, both women landed punch on the other. None were hard though. These punches were just enough to let one know they had been hit. The first round ended with both women pretty even in number of punches thrown and landed. Round two started much like the last round. Both women landing blows from punches and kicks. Katrina was surprised at how well Evie could throw a kick. They had seen her fight on video, but knew nothing of how Evie was trained. Clearly someone had trained Evie in a military style of fighting. Katrina guessed by the style it must have been ether US Marine, or Navy. Anya had the same thoughts. She was impressed at Evie's skill level. Anya hadn't expected a police officer would have such excess to military training. Nothing in Evie's file had suggested that she spent anytime around the US Armed Forces.

Anya leaned back in her chair coolly smoking as the fight continued. The fight still seemed even after the third round. Both women were landing punches and kicks at will. It wasn't until round four that Evie was clearly landing more. She had forced Katrina on the defensive. Evie was moving around and landing blows with ease. Katrina was the stronger of the two. but as Evie showed in her last MMA fight. Strength wasn't the only factor in MMA. As fit as Katrina was, she was running out of gas. Evie was outlasting her in the stamina department. Katrina had never been pushed beyond three rounds before. Anya found herself growing very wet while she watched Evie. Round four ended with Evie clearly leading in points. That would be if this was a real fight. Anya watched Evie while she sat in her corner. The sweat was rolling down her still tanned body. Evie's skin carried the tan was got while under the Hawaiian sun while on vacation. Anya licked her lips as an image of what was yet to come passed through her mind. The last round started with Evie coming right out after Katrina. Evie met her with shots to the head and body. Katrina was backed against the ropes and again covering up. Then suddenly the bell rang. Oddly, the round ended very quickly. The girls went back to their corners before Ilias called them back out to announce the winner. Ilias raised Katrina's hand as the winner of the fight. Anyone watching saw that Evie won the last two rounds. She should have been the clear winner, but she wasn't. Not on soil seen as Russian territory. Anya rose to her feet and started clapping her hands. She wore a huge smile while walking up before entering the ring.

" A wonderful display of how superior women really are. " Anya walked over to wear Evie stood in her corner. " It seems you were the victim of some biases on Ilias's part........But it was all in fun after all. " Anya gave Evie a smile as she spoke. She followed that up with a playful wink. Anya then invited Evie to enjoy the steam room with her & Katrina. She said it was good for the muscles after a fight. Anya added that they could enjoy some tea later if Evie wished and she didn't have to rush off.

Evie stood back as the bell rang. Underneath the headgear she looked puzzled. She looked around convinced that the round had ended early but she walked back to her corner as she was supposed to. She watched as Ilias walked over to Katrina and held up her arm obviously declaring her the victor. It's was a shock result but she guessed any complaint would look petulant. And really? Did she expect them to declare her the winner of a competition held in the middle of Russian territory. Evie bent forward, hands on knees looking over as Katrina held both hands up in victory for a moment before Ilias began to take off her headgear. Then Evie noticed Anya walking over to her. She stood up still breathing hard but calming steadily. As Anya approached in front of her, Vladimir appeared at her side and reached to undo her headgear. Evie turned her head towards him, seeing him smirking as he took the padded leather from her head. He immediately then reached for her wrists and began undoing the laces on the gloves as Anya came up and stood in front of her. Once the gloves were off Anya handed her a towel and a bottle of water.

Evie took both and nodded in recognition of Anya's admission about the bias. Had she thought about it before would she really have expected anything else, Evie wondered. Probably not. And if nothing else she had gotten a pretty good workout. Evie smiled in response to Anya's wink and took a drink of the cold water. At the invitation to the steam room and tea, Evie hesitated a little but then nodded.

"Thank you. I'd like that. I'm... I'm in no rush."

"Wonderful." She pointed vaguely in the direction on the locker room. "Katrina and I will meet you there. When you go back into the changing room, simply take the door at the far end of the room and the steam room is just through there on your right." She smiled, waited for Evie to acknowledge the directions and then turned and walked over to Katrina before both of them stepped out of the ring and disappeared through a different door. Evie then realised both the men were looking at her, waiting for her to leave. She smiled and nodded a thank you to both of them before going back to the locker room. There was a pile of soft white towels sitting on the bench immediately in front of the locker she had used. She undressed quickly, wrapped a towel around her and headed off in search of the steam room. It wasn't difficult to find. Again, it was a huge space. There were effectively two rows of seating running around three sides of the room set out as two giant steps. The back of the lower seat acted as the riser for the upper seat. She stepped inside and sat down on the lower tier, closing her eyes and letting her head fall back a little against the upper seat. The heat felt good. It was only a few moments before the door opened and the two women joined her. Katrina sat down next to her. Anya stepped up and sat on the higher seat opposite. Anya said she was pleased Evie had found her way and talked of how convenient it was that they had these facilities inside the Consulate. She settled herself down, smiling at Evie as she talked.

"So did you enjoy the fight?" She then asked. Evie looked back to her, also smiling and nodded.

"Yes. Thank you." She turned to Katrina. "You fight very well."

"I don't have much opportunity. Anya doesn't and there are few women here." Katrina said.

"I much prefer to watch. Such a beautiful sport ... And even more so when it's a competition between two beautiful women." Evie simply smiled back.

"You fight well also. You were well trained, by military men I think." Katrina said. Evie was a little surprised.

"Erm... Yes... Actually... A friend of mine... A US marine... How did you know."

"The way you fight. The way you hold yourself. The way you kick...you have strong legs." Katrina placed her hand on Evie's thigh, squeezed gently and then caressed a little. Evie tensed and looked down at the hand on her leg. She remembered how it felt this morning as she looked back to Katrina.

"Thank you." She didn't know what else to say. Katrina turned a little in her seat and as her right hand stroked Evie's thigh, she lifted her left hand and stroked at her upper arm. "You're friend is doing a good job in making you strong..."

"But you still look feminine... Pretty and strong...just like Katrina." Anya interrupted. "Don't you think Katrina is beautiful as well?" Evie looked from one woman to the other, then back yo Anya.

"Yes. she... She is very beautiful... And strong." Then Evie felt fingers at her jaw, as Katrina reached up and turned her head to look at her. She leaned in and softly kissed Evie. Evie didn't pull away but didn't respond. Not at the first kiss, or even the second. But on the third kiss, Evie responded kissing Katrina back with equal tenderness. Then she felt Katrina's tongue against her lips. Evie's mouth opened a little nod she couldn't help but moan softly as their tongues touched. Anya sat back smiling, wishing she had a cigarette and a vodka.

Anya's eyes sparkled as she watched Katrina & Evie kissing each other. There was nothing more erotic and more beautiful then seeing women sharing a kiss. Anya thought so anyway. She believed that only a woman could truly make another woman feel special. While men had the advantage of having a cock between their legs. A woman could touch another in ways men couldn't. Women knew the right areas to please on each other. Men could often times be bumbling fools when it came to sex and pleasing women. Women like Anya & Katrina weren't just interested in fucking Evie then leaving her. That wouldn't happen. They wanted to get pleasure from Evie, but they would also give her back pleasure. This would be a change of pace for Evie who was often just used. Still, Anya & Katrina knew how to control the object of their desire. Evie would be in their skillful hands. Anya undid the towel which once covered her body. It dropped around her legs and ass on the seat. Her body was lean and quite fit. Anya's skin was a milky white color, soft to the touch. Katrina's skin was slightly tanned. She had spent some time working on a beach in her last mission. While the kiss between Evie & Katrina continued. Anya leaned down, wrapped her arms around Evie's body and undid her towel. She whispered into Evie's ear that since they were alone, it made no sense to cover up such beautiful womanly forms. Katrina reached up and removed her own towel.

Once the towel was removed from covering Evie. Anya let her hands gently stroke over Evie's skin. Her fingers moved between Evie's breasts, circling them before squeezing them was some force. This was just to let Evie know this wouldn't be all soft and fuzzy. These two ladies knew how to treat their playmates. Anya moved her fingers to Evie's already hard nipples. She playfully teased them before twisting and pulling them. " I know how much pleasure this brings........Skilled fingers can bring one such ecstasy. " Anya continued to whisper even while Katrina & Evie kissed. There was more hunger and want to their kissing now. Anya was now rolling Evie's hard nipples between her fingers. This caused a twisting action from right to left and back again. Anya admired Evie's body from where she sat. As much as Anya enjoyed seeing it before. It looked even more beautiful close up. While leaning over, Anya began placing short soft kisses on Evie's neck.

The kisses continued ... Slow, soft, tongues circling each other. Katrina's touch was also soft. Slender fingers caressed Evie's thigh and along her jaw. As the seconds passed Evie became more entranced and when she felt hands reaching around her, heard Anya's soft words she did nothing to stop her undoing the towel. She simply let it fall.

Almost immediately she felt Anya's hands on her body. She moaned softly. Still listing Katrina, eyes closed, she eased her shoulders back, openings herself more to Anya's caress. It felt so good. Everything was soft and controlled. This was a game they had started hours before, at the coffee shop on the beach front. Everything since then had been building to this and Evie was surprised by how much she craved what was happening. She moaned a little louder as Anya squeezed her tits...gradually harder...harder still. And she whimpered again as Anya turned her attention to Evie's nipples. Anya's voice and then the kisses at her neck were intoxicating to Evie. They were definitely making her hungry.

Katrina looked across to Anya as she continued kissing. The two women made eye contact and smiled to each other. Katrina took hold of Evie's chin and pulled back from the kissing. Evie opened her eyes. Katrina turned Evie's head to look at Anya. Anya smiled and then took Evie's face in her hands and kissed her. It started gently but very quickly became a deep hard kiss as Anya pushed her tongue deep into Evie's hungry open mouth.

Just before Anya's kiss started with Evie. She moved her body closer to Evie's back. Anya's 34C breasts were now firmly against Evie's naked skin. The kiss then began. Slow, soft & gentle at first. That changed quickly when the two started kissing each other with more force. Anya continued to play with Evie's harden nipples. Katrina took the time to watch and look over Evie's fit body. The use of seduction wasn't new to Anya & Katrina. Because of their work, they were often called upon to seduce a man, or woman. Anya & Katrina liked seducing women better though. It was more pleasing to them. Part of what they were doing with Evie was work. They thought by seducing Evie, it would help to push her towards aiding them on their mission. They were spies after all. But part of them was doing this because they wanted too. Anya & Katrina had long since found Evie to be very attractive. After finding out about Loomis, his plates and the special paper. Anya & Katrina did their homework on the possible players in this game. They studied in great detail about the members of the MCU. This was when they were first introduced to Evie Taylor.

Katrina placed her right hand onto Evie's stomach and began to let her fingers lightly stroke over the bronze skin. Evie's body was covered in beads of sweat from the stream. Katrina let her fingers slowly glide down over Evie's lower body until her fingers reached the core of Evie's body. One finger stretched out and lightly teased the bud at the top of those sweet tender folds. The smile Katrina wore grew at the response she got from Evie. That teasing finger then moved on sliding deep down. Katrina stroked her finger over the folds of skin before she pushed it into Evie's pussy. The single finger went deep before slowly withdrawing. Then a second finger joined the first. The two were then pushed inside. Katrina watched Evie's reaction while her fingers slowly fucked the dripping hole between Evie's legs.

If only to herself, Evie couldn't deny how much she was enjoying the attention of both women. They were both more than proficient in what they were doing and Evie was responding. As Katrina's hand slipped down from Evie's tummy to her mound, Evie's right leg slowly moved from the left. She moaned as Katrina's fingers briefly found her clit. It was a teasing touch designed solely to make Evie want more...and it did. Still kissing with Anya, Evie moaned more loudly as Katrina sank a finger slowly into her and then she moaned again as Katrina withdrew and pushed inside a second time but with two long fingers.

"So tight and wet" Katrina said, talking really to Anya. Anya withdrew from the kiss but kept looking at Evie.

"Of course she is... Does that feel good Evie? Katrina is a wonderful lover...she has an incredible touch don't you think?" Evie gasped a soft "yes" as her pelvis moved just a little back and forth against the movement of Katrina's fingers. "Oh God yes hmmmm." Anya and Katrina exchanged a smile. Anya then leaned in and started to kiss Evie softly, speaking to her between kisses.

"Now we are friends... Imagine..,every time we meet...such...pleasure...you couldn't turn this down could you Evie...you want this..." As she spoke and kissed, she gradually pulled her head back just a little...just to see...and sure enough as she expected, Evie - whimpering and moaning - followed reaching forward as if chasing the next kiss. Anya knew they could make Evie want what they had to offer. Both of the Russians had talked of how nice it would be to have a little American toy. They could share her in times like this with them both together but also if one was away on a mission the other would have a friend close by. At the same time Evie was struggling to keep in mind that this was just 'business' - but then how many times had she enjoyed nights like this whilst technically on police business.

As Anya kissed and played seemingly aimlessly with Evie's pebble-hard nipples, Katrina slowly slipped from her seat onto her knees in front of Evie. Her hands stroked slowly up Evie's thighs as she gently pushed her legs apart. Evie didn't resist. Then Katrina leaned forwards. She stroked two wet fingers down Evie's slick pussyfoot and slipped them back inside her, bringing another moan from Evie. Then with her other hand, her fingers deftly opened her pussy, exposing the hard bud hidden beneath. Then she leaned in and kissed...licked...sucked, focusing her tongue just on that very bud. Anya waited a few minutes, listening to Evie's moans, feeling her body squirming a little, trembling at times, knowing exactly how good Katrina was and how Evie was going to be feeling. And then she wanted to move on as both she and Katrina had planned. All of this was going exactly to plan.

"Oh I think Evie likes that Katrina. Don't you Evie?'

"Yes....fuck...yes..." Anya laughed softly. "Oh it's going to feel so much better when we fuck you... You want that don't you Evie... You want to do what Katrina's doing whilst we fuck you don't you Evie."

"Yes.,, yes...I...I want that.,."

"What do you want Evie? Tell me."

"I want ... You both to...to fuck me... "

"And when I fuck you, what will you do? Will you eat out Katrina's beautiful pussy."

"Yes...yes"

"Do you want me to fuck you now Evie."

"Yes."

"Good girl"

Katrina sat back and moved onto the opposite seat, leaning back and opening her legs. She smiled and waved a finger slowly at Evie, indicating for her to move forward onto her knees in front if her. As Evie did so, Anya reached up and retrieved a large strap on dildo which had been hidden at the back under the upper seating.

"This is going to be such fun Evie."
