Haha! Nice! It looks like you nailed the hips to me as well as the rest of him. He's not an imposing male, but since he's clearly an elf, he is perfectly proportionate. I really like his armor!

Male hips are just the opposite of male shoulders. Our shoulders are wider. Your hips are wider. Both are rounder when bigger typically. I don't think there is any great secret to it. Now if you are sketching naked models, you have more things to worry about. There are more contours and such and the male pelvis definitely looks different.

I try to be as true to the human form as I can. I either use models to get the best proportions, or I pull it from my head and *try* my best. I do not always succeed.
