The Continent of Varenel sat nestled in the quaint little center of the world. And within this quaint little continent rested various lands and the various peoples that inhabited its numerous landscapes. Within the continent, nestled at the very tip of the northern mountain range sat the quiet and rather wholesome kingdom of Kinesbrooke. Kinesbrooke was a happy little place filled with joyous peoples who went about their daily lives with a wholesome and happy amount of glee. Well...Kinsebrooke did all these things at one point, however now it seemed things took a turn for the worse. For you see within the confines of the walls the great and generous king of Kinesbrooke died ever so suddenly, and in his place his queen rose up to rule over the land. The peoples of Kinsebrooke were rather taken aback by the death of their noble king, but none dared ever make mention that the queen had anything to do with it. Though...They all secretly judged her and deep down most thought it was her that assassinated the king. Kinsebrooke maintained its quaintness though as its residents continued on with their day to day lives. Little did they know what the Queen was really up to.

The Rose castle as it was called was nestled deep up in the mountainside. Its heavy walls a thick grey color and had grown weary just as the residents had. Almost mourning the loss of its king. The castle was rather typical in its structure with various rooms all hustle and bustle with servants and the like catering to their queens every whim and desire. Well...Almost every desire. The queen herself sat at her throne awaiting the news of the day as a rather old looking servant walked up to the side of the throne. He adjusted his thin glasses upon his eyes as he read at a small list of duties that needed the queens attention.
"My Lady...It seems there are two important things that need to be done immediately. There is a trading merchant from a nearby kingdom. He seems to wish to broker a trading deal between our kingdom and his. This would lead to a better increase in the amount of trading power we hold. The other issue is that an Orc from the nearby forest has been caught raiding and pillaging farms at the outskirt of the city has been caught and brought to the dungeon. He awaits your sentencing." The old man waited for a response from the Queen.

In her emerald gown, Queen Illeosa von Strasberg, High Regent of Kinesbrooke cut a regal figure; The pleated hem of her trailing skirts swished against the thick carpet, as she crossed the distance to the throne. Her feet arched high on heeled boots, hands clasped demurely before her, the voluptuous beauty's deep green eyes were ever-so-slightly hooded; Her gaze demurely averted, as she swept across the opulent chamber.

The faintest smile touched her ruby-red lips, honey-blonde tresses framing her elegant features. It *was* good to be Queen, after all; Though the thought of the day to come teased a soft sigh from her throat. There'd be so much to do to put the realm in order...And she'd only *just* started. The black shawl of mourning was still drawn around her slender shoulders...But she wasn't about to wear it for *too* much longer.

"Indeed~?" The Queen pondered aloud; Her cool visage softening, just for a moment. She nodded, just once, to her servant - "Bring the Orc before Us first, then," she ordered - A fetching smile on her lovely features. "Justice, after all, does not stand upon ceremony...And We are sure that there are plenty who'd be glad of his capture." Of course, since she always had a *thing* for the humanoid races, well...This could get *interesting*, and fast!

The old man nodded at his highness and bowed respectfully. He brought his hands together, producing a loud clap with his wrinkled hands. The servants made way most of them got out of the way of the prisoner entirely as two guards accompanied the prisoner in chains across the red carpet. The clank of steel against the hard stone floor seemed to chime outward across the entire castle. The jangle of chains seemed to boom like a thunderbolt against the ears of the listeners. The tow guards seemed feeble in comparison to the orc they had chained and bound as they forced him to kneel before the queen. He was a massive and imposing figure. Standing nearly 6'6 at his full height. His shoulders were broad and thick with muscles. His rough fugitives tunic barely clung to his chest as he scoffed at his captors. He looked up wordlessly at the woman who called herself Queen and let his dark red eyes transfix themselves on her. His head was shaven and devoid of any markings, save for a single pronounced scar that ran the length of his face from forehead to mouth on his left side. His tusks were pronounced and his complexion a strange amalgamation of a deep brown and a glowing green. He snarled at the woman as the guards towered over him, hands against their weapons in case of any sudden moves.
