Mimi Pet Store

In near future, a scientist team in Japan began genetic experiments to create human/animal hybrids: Kemonomimi. Initially, many people derided it as "silly otaku nonsense", nothing that should be taken seriously and which is doomed to failure. But just after a short time, the scientists were successful and created a living "nekomimi", also known as catgirl, a human girl with cat ears and tail. Soon afterwards, they created more kinds of kemonomimi and finally male and even hermaphroditic ones.

At the beginning, they were sold as pets to rich people, the only ones who could afford them at that time. The general public was still wary of the new life form, apparently more human than animal, but still treated as the latter. But after a while, prices for kemonomimi fell. This resulted finally in the foundation of the Mimi Pet Store, the first store to sell kemonomimi pets. Situated in Akihabara, Tokyo, they catered to otaku, who were also their sole customer base initially. But more and more "normal people" overcame their inhibitions and bought kemonomimis.

Nowadays, kemonomimi pets are popular all over the world. Even sex with kemonimi, initially viewed as bestiality, became so widespread that no one bats an eyelash when somebody admits that they sleep with their kemonomimi pets.

The Mimi Pet Store didn't rest on their success. Having enhanced their service and the quality of their pets, they are still a prime address for kemonomimi pets and even have customers from foreign countries. But when they introduced a rental service, their popularity nearly exploded. Initially intended for the customers to "try out" a pet before they buy it, it soon became a profitable source of income, when many people started to constantly rent pets without buying them and became regular customers. This in turn caused the introduction of the "in-house rent". People would rent a pet and spend time with them in the store's various facilities. By now, it's mostly a pet store in name-only. They still sell pets, but the vast majority of income comes from the rents.

Basically, Kemonomimi appear as humans with animal ears and an animal tail. Since they were originally created in Japan, the name "Kemonomimi" (animal ears) is used in the entire world, but many just call them "animalgirls/boys". The same applies to names of the separate species (i.e. nekomimi are often called "catgirls/boys"). They are capable of speech, mostly act human, but they tend to be very submissive to their owners and it's not uncommon for them to have traits of the animal, they are based on. Male kemonomimi tend to have rather soft features and there are quite a few who look like girls, which makes them popular with people who like to let their pets crossdress.

Nowadays, kemonomimi aren't created artificially anymore. They can breed normally and have in fact quite high birth rates, so they are mostly reared. However, they can only breed with kemonimi of their own species. Sex with other species and humans is of course possible, but no child can result in that.

There are four kemonomimi species: Nekomimi (cats), Inumimi (dogs), Usagimimi (bunnies) and Nezumimi (mice). All with the ears and tail of the animals they are based on.

The front of the building is rather simple except for the flashy sign, showing off the name of the store and a picture of a cute catgirl, drawn in manga style, to the right of it. When you enter the store, you are in the business room with a large counter, where you can make purchases and tell the employees your wishes. On the left is the room with the cages, where the pets are kept, to the left is the clothes shop and a door to the back leads to the facilities, which a guest can use with rented pets.

Cage Room: The pets are kept in large cages. To show off their looks, they are only wearing simple white underwear, boxers for the boys, bra (except for the children, who are wearing undershirts instead) and panties for the girls and futas. On every cage hangs a sign with their name (names are assigned by the store, unless the pet had a former owner, but a pet can be renamed when it's bought).

Clothes Shop: Despite it's name, it actually has to purposes: You can buy clothes for your own pets and you can dress a rented pet. The latter service is free and you can pick as many clothes as you like. The selection is very big and ranges from casual clothes to fancy dresses. Of course, there are also many various kinds of underwear and lingerie. Even many cosplay costumes are kept here. Also many accessories like jewelry or glasses can be acquired here.

Bedrooms: They were the first facilities, the store established and since then they became quite numerous. Besides simple bedrooms, there are also many themed rooms, like a girlish one that's decorated entirely in pink and a traditional Japanese one.

Dungeon: Located in the basement, the dungeon is used for BDSM purposes, with various bondage equipment. Also, various toys, which can be used in other rooms, are stored in the basement.

Garden: A lush green garden, with many flowers and other plants, which emits a very nice atmosphere. An outdoor pool is situated here, which can be used in summer.

Indoor Pool: A large pool that can be used all over the year. A door leads directly to the outdoor pool in the garden.



1. Customers, whether they buy or rent a pet, must be at least 18 years old.

2. Sexual activities are only permitted with pets, who are at least 14 year old.

3. Sexual activities are only allowed in the facilities. Sex in the business room, cage room or clothes shop is prohibited.

4. Customers are allowed to bring their own pets and can use the facilities and can use the facilities with them for a fee. This is not the case if a pet is additionally rented, since the fee is included in the rent.

5. Customers can rent more than one pet.

6. Under no circumstances is a customer allowed to force a pet to do things it doesn't want.

Masashi Adachi

There it is. The Mimi Pet Store. Masashi was nervous as he stood before the building. It was the first time he came here. He wanted to go here since a long time, but he never brought up the courage to do so. Until now. He could still turn around but he wouldn't. It was now or never.

Masashi always wanted a kemonomimi pet, since he was a little boy. A pet with which he could play like with another human seemed like a dream. But his parents had a very low opinion of kemonomimi and never had one. As he got older, he craved them even more. Especially, when he noticed... other qualities. And now that he was an adult he could finally have one for himself. However, he neither had enough money nor enough time to care for one. So, this store's rental service was pretty convenient...

Having finally worked up his courage, Masashi entered the store. It was filled with people and there were also some pets. The walls were decorated with photos of kemonomimi and on the counter were some brochures. Masashi went to a free clerk and stated his wish to rent a pet. He couldn't supress a blush. The clerk led him to the room were the cages with the pets were, so he could choose one.

Rina

With a loud yawn, Rina woke up from her slumber. She rubbed her eyes and looked around, noticing that most of the other pets were already up. A few customers, who looked at the pets, giggled at her, some commenting her cuteness. The nekomimi smiled at them. It was nice to be appreciated like that.

Rina came to the store three years ago. She was dropped here after her former owner died. Initially, she was quite depressed, hated living at the store and was in a perpetual bad mood. She was very unpopular because of that and nobody wanted to rent her. The chance that anyone would buy her was next to zero. But after a while she overcame her grief, ready to move on, and got used to the store. Soon she even started to like it, after a few people rented her. In this place, she always got to know new people and even make some friendships. By now, she barely can imagine another life, even though she never forgot her former owner.

It seemed like it would be a day like any other for the young catgirl. That wasn't a bad thing, she liked watching all the people who came her looking for pets to buy or rent. But she preferred to be rented herself. She sat down, waiting and hoping that someone would come to rent, if not even buy, her.

Miko woke up in the cage and yawned out loud, her tail moving from one side to the other as she looked around at the other pets in the cages. Taking a deep breath she yawned a bit as she curled up in a small ball purring out loud not really caring if someone rented her or not. She was the type of neko that loved to be alone. She giggled and sighed as she purred out loud, the coldness of the cage did nothing to her but she knew very well that it would be some time before she is rented or even bought in a place like this. She was one of the oldest neko in the building but somehow her mind still was one of a 16 years old girl. She was trapped in a cage but she always made do with what she had, she closed her eyes and slowly dozed off to sleep.

It wasn't like he was for lack of courage or mettle, rather a simple disinterest in the place. You rent or buy a pet, and then do with it what you please, for so long as you've paid for it. He'd heard stories of guys who just went in, cuddled and spilled their hearts out to one of those... Rio looked down at the introduction and rule sheet again, trying to remember what they were called.

"Kamnomeme. Kemonono... Kemonomimi. Jeez, how do people even say the species of the pets? I guess it doesn't come up too often..." He mutters to himself. A clerk was making the rounds, showing people around and what not, but he'd escaped a little. The clerk was down with the bunny girls, but Rio always had a penchant for cat girls. That much, he could not help, but the room was daunting. He probably should've come with a buddy system for the trip.

Moving toward the cages, he picked up one of the cards listing the details of one of the girls, idly reading it.

Jake almost tiptoed into the lobby. Nervously he looked around. There were a few other people looking at pictures or bringing there Mimi's in.

The nude bodies of their pets both excited him and made him flustered.
"Excuse me." His voice cracked.
"Could someone please help me... I want to meet a Neko or Usagimimi..

I can come back if you're too busy... "

He bit his lip and started to turn to leave.

Andol stood there outside the pet shop which he looked at nervously... he wondered for a moment what he was doing here. He had never really apporved with the way that this pet shop was, becuase it was like these poor creatures where being sold as slaves. Yet it was as he stood there, that he reminded himself the reason that he had come... he wanted to buy one of the creatures and get them out of this place. He knew that he could treat them well and they would be happy and never forced to do anything again. That would be a great thing, at least in his option anyway. So with that thought in mind he walked towards the store, though still he seemed a bit nervous... of course he was always nervous in public. Walking into the store he began to look around and noticed that other people had showed up here also to try and maybe rent or buy on of the creatures. He was quite sure that buying was somthing that was really not done that much anymore and would be expenise for that recent.

Yet his family was very well off, and his father had given him bascially a blank check, becuase the man couldn't stand to see his son so lonely and sad anymore. Heck he had even told Andol to go off and find a male one if he wanted... which was what the young man was really after. Walking up to one of the people that he assumed worked her he asked, "May I see some of the pets that you have here... mainly the males?" He blushed a little in embressed at asking that qestion becuase he felt that it made him look really silly.

Taki yawned as he grumbled, waking up in his cage. He looked around at the daily ruckus of the store. He noticed several people moving around the male cages, granted most were, as usual, crowding in the female section of the cage room. He stood up and cracked his back, heading over to the sink in his cage and got a drink of water before shivering, shaking his head to somewhat fix his natural mess of hair around his ears. He used his tail to scratch his leg a bit before moving over to one side of his cage to look out at the people who were looking at the other male kemonomimis.

He noticed Andol asking about the males and a slight twitch hinted his lips, somewhat of a smile for him as he watched the boy. He could tell the boy was feeling somewhat awkward about asking for males but nowadays people didn't mind it as much as the boy thought. He cracked his back and looked at a few girls who were at the cage next to his which house an inumimi male who had been a recent favorite for the past few days. He figured he would not be noticed since a lot of girls avoided the nezumimis since they didn't like mice or rats in the normal sense.

Her puffy reddish tail swayed around as she walked in circles, and her pointed ears flopped around as she did so.

She had never been adopted, though she had been rented many times. And watching people pass by everyday made her self confidence drop, though she kept her head held high in the thought that she might be adopted someday. A playful grin edged her cheeks as she watched people walk by, and she tried to keep a happy face as she was observed.

Jake noticed the foxgirl across the room. She seemed to be smiling directly at him and he stopped. Maybe he wouldn't leave.

Slowly he approached her and gave a shy smile. "I'm Jake...you have a very sweet smile. I've never seen an Inumimi before... You're stunning... Is it, I mean will you, can I stroke your pretty tail?" He waved frantically to one of the attendants that he'd found the Mimi he wanted to spend time with.

Jake took the agreement from the attendant and read it carefully, then signed and paid. He stood back as the cage unlocked, and offered his hand to help her out. Softly, he hugged her and his eyes closed in happiness. She was like all the best parts of a lover, and a plush toy, but all girl. He stroked that long tail from base to tip and then let her lead him forth to a private area. "I hope that it's a big area, I think it would be so much fun to have you chase and pounce me...that is...if you'd like that Hannah."

Jake was about ready to bounce. This wasn't just sexual arousal, this was ultimate playtime.

The clerk came over to Andol with a soft and understanding smile on his face and said, "Come right this way... I think I know someone prefect for you." So he guided Andol along until they came to a cage which held a adorable looking nezumimi... The young mans eyes seemed to light up as he looked at the other male, and studied him for a moment with a adoring look in his eyes. So he quickly turned around and said nervously to the clerk, "Uhmm, you see I know most people don't come here to buy them, but I did... yet I want rent him and spend some time with him before I decide to take him home." He had been told by his parents to do that sinice he wouldn't be aloud to take whichever creature he choose back to the store. The clerk nodded and then headed off to get the key while Andol stood there reading the little card that came with creature, and was relieved when he noticed that this one would not avoid any sexual advances if there friendship went that far... plus he aslo noticed the name... 'Taki'... that was a nice name.

Looking back at the creature in the cage he asked, "Taki, are you ready to maybe find a new home?" He smiled softly as the clerk soon returned with the key and unlocked the cage. Andol reached his hand out to help the other male out of the cage, and said to him, "Would you like me to buy you some clothes maybe?... I mean I can't take you home looking like this." He still wanted to spend some time here though, becuase there was always a chance he wouldn't like the other male, but for now the mouse seem friendly egough.

Taki walked over when the door to his cage was opened. He kept his almost hairless tail around his waist. Unlike normal rats and mice, nezumimis had a thin layer of hair on their tail almost like a silk sleeve. A fact most people wouldn't know since they avoid touching said rat tails. He noticed the hand held out to him but didn't take it, hopping out of the cage next to the boy, standing several inches taller than him.

Taki was very skeptical when Andol said he would adopt him but figured it would just be one of the few times he would be rented. "for rentals, dressing a kemonomimi is free." he said, stating one of the common facts of dressing a kemonomimi during a rental. He pointed at the hallway that led to the clothing store.

Andol pulled his hand back a bit when with the other didn't take it to get out of the cage. Wondering for a moment if the other wasn't really that friendly of a creature. Yet he tried to shake that thought out of his head sinice he wanted to be able to give Taki a chance.... he was sure that the other male was a sweetheart, but it was buried under all those years of being a pet. As the other climbed out of the cage and stood there looking down at him a smile crossed his face... he was so happy about there differnace in size to... becuase that ment he could bury his face in the other male's chest, and the young man was very quick to do so as he stepped foward and gave the other male a hug and just held onto his new friend saying, "Well then I guess we will have to shop and see what you would like to wear my friend. I don't really have anything that want you to wear myself, but if there is somthing that you would like to wear then by all means just point it out to me." He smiled softly at his new friend and let go of the nezumimi so that he could take hold of the others hand.

Then softly lead him down the hallway towards the clothing store he asked while they walked along, "So tell me abit about yourself Taki?... I would like to get to know you if I am going to be taking you home with me at the end of the day. I understand if you think I was joking about that, but I really wasn't. My parents want me to have a friend... so they have sent me here to pick out one for myself... kind of pathetic uhh?"

Eventually, she stopped them in front of a thin brown door. Reaching out her hand, she twisted the knob and in swing in slowly without a sound. The lay out was simple, with quite abit of empty space. It was a generally large room with a queen sized bed in the corner. Her hand went to the wall and she flipped the light switch up, a bright light flashed from the center of the ceiling flooding the nearly empty room with light. "I think this is a good size. Don't you?" She said in a casual tone, glanceing over her shoulder to Jake.​

Listening to her made him shiver. She was a bit wild...maybe a bit dangerous too..he wouldn't be surprised if he got some scratches..

Quietly, he took off his shoes and socks. There was a panel on the wall, and he read the different options. He chose western forest and the room became a verdant glade, with thick fallen logs, low branches, vines, and several caves. He oohed... noticing that he now had camo clothes and that she was no where to be seen. Quickly, he raced up a log and slid around a tree, standing on a branch 12 feet up.

Now where was Hannah?

Smirking, he began to tickle her toes, and give soft tugs on her tail, he noticed that the program had removed all his clothing, except for a pair of briefs.

He did however blink and look at Andol when he said he wasn't kidding about the adopting thing. "you do realize that people will most likely make fun of you or think you are messed up for choosing a rat right?" he stated bluntly, a rare thing for him

Andol walked along besides the mouse as they headed towards the clothing store and he listined closly to the other male's story as he helped the mouse to pick out his clothes and said to the other, "Well she doesn't know what she was missing. You are positivly adorable Tiku and don't ever let anyone tell you differntly." Andol held just honesty in his voice and you could tell that he truly ment and believed the words that he spoke. That was one of his more indearing traits was that fact that you knew that he would never suger coat anything that you told him and every compliment that you receieved form him, would be one that was completely truthful.

Andol just shrugged as he looked over at the other males responds to the fact that he was indeed going to be adopted, "To tell you the truth Taki I don't really care at this point what they decide to make fun of me with. I mean have been made fun of so many times in my life that I kind of just shrug it off and keep moving foward if you know what I mean. Really all I care about is one thing." He held out his finger in the postion of the number one, and then pointed at the other male and asked, "Are you going to make fun of me, as long as we are best friends... I don't really care what other people say about me." He smiled softly at the rat as he walked over the counter and was carrying the clothes that the other male had picked out, and took the time to buy them which gave another added sence that the young man had really ment what he said when he said that he was going to take the rat home with him. He then turned around and handed the clothes to the rat and said to him, "Well my friend here you go... just go back into the changing room and change into whatever you like and then come on out and we can see what there is to do around here."

Her words were kind, but puzzling. And so he knelt, pulling his briefs aside, he closed his eyes and just reached out. His hands found her silky shoulders and he pulled her close, not worried anymore.

Keeping his eyes shut, he let his release go where it might, and then calmed. "I know that in fifteen minutes, it will be ready again. Now that I'm not feeling frantic, maybe you could show me some things. I really want to learn from you...and if you like me, maybe you could come home with me."
