Sarah tended to the chickens then heard a noise and grabbed her rifle and went to go look. She headed to the back then pointed her gun to the source of the noise which happened to be just a wild animal. Sarah sighed then a shot was fired. Sarah stood there in shock as her side began to bleed. The men from before stood behind her. One smirked as he puts his gun back in his holster and they fled. Sarah tried to move but then just fell to the ground.

The man got off his horse and ran over. He picked Sarah up and took her inside. After grabbing something from the wagon be began tending to Sarah's wound. Two women came out of the wagon and stayed by the side of the other male that was with them.

"I think she can pull through" he said as he tended to Sarah. One of the women came over to assist the man.

The man fixed Sarah up as best he could "Ok, I think she is out of danger. If she doesn't get an infection she should pull through.

He smiled "I thank you" he said then headed out to get some supplies out of the wagon.
