Long brown hair hung from the head of a twenty year old girl, her green eyes narrowed in disgust. "Really?" she grumbled. The table left behind from her last customer was covered it trash and crumbs. "No decency..." she spat as she cleaned the table up in a hurry. She was wearing a black skirt that fell to the mid-thigh and flared out a bit, and she wore a white polo on her torso. The bar she worked at required a skirt and polo combo for its uniform, and her shoes were just simple black sneakers. It wasn't a very special outfit, but it did flaunt off her subtle curves and smooth skin.

Once she finished cleaning off the disgusting table she was able to slip out of her apron and head home. Sophie grabbed her purse and slipped into the cool night air, it was about eleven o'clock but the city streets of Moscow were still relatively busy, filled with rushing people. What did so many people do so late at night? Sophia shrugged her shoulders with a soft laugh as she slipped into one of her familiar alley shortcuts. It made her laugh when people got scared to go down alleys at night. People only got hurt in alleys when they were in a movie, she'd been walking down alleys all her life and had never been attacked or harmed. A smile was plastered across her pink lips as she hummed softly, every second taking her farther into the shadowy void that was the alley.

A scurrying noise made her halt, she was standing in the middle of the alley, a good distance from the two entrances. "Hello?" she called out warily, she was slightly nervous. In all her times in the alleys she had never actually encountered another person. "Hello!" she grumbled, irritated now that somebody could actually be trying to scare her. "Seriously this is-" a hand whipped out from the darkness and grabbed her around the waist, pulling her roughly against a hard and prickly body. The grip from the stranger was tight and instantly knocked the breath out of her. Sophie struggled against the arm holding her but it quickly pushed her away from its body and then shoved her harshly into the building nearest to them. The human girl cried out in pain as her cheek scraped against the brick, causing thin lines of blood to decorate her fair skin. "Somebody help!"

She got a glimpse of what was attacking her and felt her eyes widen and fear trickle across her flesh. The creature had a humanoid appearance except for its blood covered claws, frighteningly long fangs, and red eyes. It looked like a demon straight from hell, and it didn't speak, just growled in odd tones. "Get away!" she cried, tears stinging her eyes. The creature was just so disgusting and ugly, its skin almost scaly. A sudden movement made her gasp, its hand flew down and knocked her across the head, probably to shut her up. Sophia felt her body begin to fall, and the moment it hit the cold concrete floor of the alley the world began to spin. Spots danced before her eyes as she looked up at the creature nearing her once again, it was going to kill her, eat her, she didn't know, but she was much to dizzy to run or call for help. All she could do was watch the creature close in on her as darkness began to seep into her vision. She was dancing on the edge of consciousness. "Am I going to die?" she whispered, her eyes half open.

"Another?" The bartender asked, in his native Russian tongue. Luka glanced over at him, his unnaturally dark eyes swallowing the human's simple brown gaze. There was an insignificance about human life that Luka half-envied. Such short, puny existences. Luka was nearing his hundredth birthday, and was still considered a teenager of sorts, just barely readying for the crown. Yeah, crown. He was actually meant to 'rule' one day; a funny concept, really, considering humans -the most common creature to be found on this earth- knew nothing of their existence. Or very little. Their underground society was much more formal than that of humans, with very strict rules - these rules were part of what kept humans in the dark (no pun intended) so to speak. As long as the majority of them lived in peaceful ignorance, than the vampires were allowed to roam happily, without war or death plaguing them. A massacre really wasn't the vampires style; they preferred sailing smooth waters than battling raging storms.

"No," Luka responded simply, leaving his money and exiting the bar in a flash. He had been in Moscow on business, but had stopped in a local bar merely to escape his fate for a little while. It wasn't easy being noble. He liked watching humans bustle around, worrying about such little nonsenses... it was really quite comical.

Running his fingers through the slightly grown out cropped dark hair on his head, Luka inhaled the thick chilly air. It was a warm day by Moscow's standards, though the weather didn't effect him all that much. Russia was a perfect spot for Vampires, as it was often freezing or cloudy, ridding them of any harmful direct sunlight. Luka was a descendant of the Demidov's, the eldest Vampire Clan, dating back thousands of years. They were some of the first settlers in Russia, and as such, had retained their power since then. No vampire or creature alike dared cross the Demidov's, lest they seek their iron-fisted wrath.

"Help!"

In the distance, a few blocks south of him, Luka heard a shrill cry. It wasn't easy to miss, with his incredibly attuned vampiric senses. Luka was an anti-social sort of being, having been to too many balls or formal events growing up to really enjoy the company of others. His lifestyle had been rigid, therefore he alienated himself from those who put him in that situation, namely his parents, the current King and Queen. He was known for how critical and cold he was, never an emotion flickering across his face; needless to say he was very unforgiving. However, there was something about Luka that was also tragically noble, in the sense that he had trouble walking away from situations he could aid the downtrodden in. Be it that, or the fact that something about the tone of the human's voice intrigued him, Luka found himself rounding the corner so quickly, that the naked human eye wouldn't have been able to see him.

Harvester demons were known for being some of the nastier kind - they fed off of the life force and energy of other creatures; somehow this human girl had managed to stumble across one. At first glance, she looked fairly normal. Brown hair, light eyes, pale skin. Typical human. As he stared longer, however, there was also something about her that was very a-typical. A spark. Luka didn't have time to mull that over too long though, as the Harvester took notice of him. Not quickly enough, of course. Throwing his elbow into the demons jaw, with his superior strength, the vampire had him on the ground within a few seconds. Pressing his boot into the Harvester's throat, Luka tilted his head to the side, staring down at him with eyes as cold as death.

"By royal decree, you will leave immediately," Luka growled in Russian, a very practiced royal tone to his voice. He couldn't go around killing demons for no reason, so he let the Harvester go, just after flashing him the Royal Crest, letting the demon know exactly who he was dealing with. Needless to say, the demon scurried away as quickly as possible. Demons had powers, but Luka was a Prince, and therefore trained by the very best. His reputation was also rather extensive - he was known as the Warrior Prince, very much so excelling in areas of combat.

Turning, Luka stared at the girl from his full height of 6ft 3inches, not bothering to try and look less scary or foreboding than he already did. Appearance-wise, he looked somewhere around 25, which clashed seriously with the ancient quality of his eyes and expression. Kneeling down next to her, his pupils dilated a bit as the smell of blood drifted into his nostrils. Her eyes were swaying this way and that, whether do to her head injury or the fiercely alien images she had just been made witness of, Luka wasn't sure. Unlike any other human encounter he had ever had before, he felt a connection... some sort of connection with this girl. He didn't know why, but what he did know was that she would be his.

"Sleep," He instructed gruffly, placing his hand over her forehead, and willing her to sleep... one of the many vampire tricks he had up his sleeves.

OOC: So I figure you could have her wake up chained to a bed or something? Lol.

Sophia was only slightly aware of the small fight that was happening right by her limp body, it wasn't until the tall and deadly figure of a man stood above her that she realized the other creature was gone. She felt herself groan in pain as she tried to move, but the man's hand was soon placed over her forehead, and a command washed over her mind. Sleep. She groaned in response but in seconds she was out like a light. Sleep washed over her and she was lost to the void of dreams and painful memories. Sophia was alone in the world, she'd been disowned from her parents and family for not believing in their crazy religious mannerisms. She felt no need to look to religion for the answers in her life. She wished to live how she wanted, not follow an old dusty book. Since she'd been eighteen she had lived on her own, working as a waitress once she moved to Moscow.

Sophie groaned in pain as she felt sleep begin to dissolve from her mind. Her eyes slowly creeped open, greeted by a relatively dark room. Instantly the girl was on edge, unsure of what was going on. "What..." she winced as she spoke, her head pounding as she moved. She didn't really remember what had happened to make her hurt so badly. She went to move her hand, so she could touch her head and she heard a soft clinking noise. "Huh..." she opened her eyes fully and looked down. There were chains wrapped around her wrists and ankles, actually holding her down against a rather soft bed. Now she really was nervous, it was starting to remind her of a really bad horror flick from the movies. A shiver rushed down her spine as she pulled at the chains. "Hello?" she called out, her voice almost a whisper in the dark room.

"Seriously...this isn't funny.."she complained, her voice wavering as the fear really set in. Memories of earlier floated back into her mind and she almost cried. The monster, the man, the blow to her head. That explained why her head hurt so badly. "Can I get some aspirin!" she whined. Sophia pressed her head back into the pillow behind her, closing her eyes again. Maybe if she ignored the world she'd been tossed into, she would just disappear and be laying in her bed at home. She opened her eyes and frowned. Nope. Didn't work. She pulled against the chains some more, but every movement made her head send a shock of pain through her limbs. Was she going to die? She wondered quietly to herself if perhaps it would have been better to die at the hands of the hideous monster in the alley, then to wake up chained to a bed in an unknown place.

"Hello? Somebody...anyone..." she cried out once more.

Luka drained the contents of his wine glass, reveling in the coppery taste of blood as it slid down his throat. Pets were traditionally food sources, but draining the girl all at once was a bit stupid.

"Master Luka, the pet, is erm... screaming," One of the many maids who manned his castle addressed him, a bit flustered. Loud noises were very uncustomary there at his private abode. His Castle was a bit smaller than his parents, he had moved there on his eightieth birthday, but frequently visited his parents much larger Castle for serious events such as balls, celebrations, or meetings.

Luka rolled his eyes. How typical.

Standing from the long table, Luka brushed past the maid, her name he couldn't bother in remembering, as he navigated the corridors of his gargantuan home with ease and grace until he reached her room. Of course he had chained her to the bed - obviously she would try and escape. Luka had never really seen the interest in 'pets' before; he supposed part of the fun would be the taming aspect. As he opened the door and his eyes locked with her own, however, he had a different feeling entirely greet him: tension. There was this instant thickness in the air as he looked at her that made his muscles stiffen, like a distressed feline. Her voice agitated him. Her presence agitated him. And he hadn't even spoken to her yet.

"I assure you that yelling and thrashing will do you no good," He paused for a moment, arching an eyebrow, his expression rigid with tension. He could feel her muscles tense as she looked at him; the feeling was apparently mutual. "There's no way to sugarcoat this darling, so I'll just get on with it. You are a guest of sorts here; forget about your human life, for this will be your new one and the only one that matters. The rules are really quite simple, because there is only one: obey me."

Sophia had been thrashing about on the bed, trying her best to ignore the painful throbbing in her head. The door to the room she was in seemed to open slowly and a man stood in its archway. Instantly her eyes fell to his own and her green orbs narrowed into tiny slits of distaste. Her body tensed as his lips parted and filled the room with words. "I do find that yelling and thrashing does much good, it annoys people..." snapped Sophia with a grumble, her eyes still narrowed at the man before her. How dare he chain her to a bed!! He had seemingly saved her life in the alley, but now he planned to use her for himself? How sick!!

"I don't need a sugarcoating anyway, you arrogant twat..." growled Sophie, her wrists pulling violently at the restraints as she momentarily looked away from the man in the room. The girl almost choked as she heard the end of his sentence. Sophie slowly dropped her wrists to the bed and looked up at the man, her eyes were no longer narrowed in a despising glare, but were now wide with terror and surprise. "Obey you!?" she exclaimed. "Are you kidding?!" she cried out.

A fit of laughter suddenly overtook her, she kicked her legs lightly against the bed and giggled, her brown hair falling into her face, a nice contrast against her fair skin. "You...You really want me to believe, I'm like...like what? A pet?" she laughed again,"What planet are you from?" she laughed in a girlish way and looked at him, amusement crossing her features. "I don't obey anyone but myself...I think you picked the wrong girl to take in as a pet.." she laughed once more and smirked, her eyes taunting the man across the room.

"Really though...what am I doing here? And who in the hell are you!?" she questioned, the amusement still flickering across her features. "If you really need a pet, I can introduce you to my roommate...she loves being dominated and bossed around," she teased. Sophia was being foolish, completely reckless in the situation considering she had no idea what or who the man was that had chained her to the bed. All she knew was that he seemed crazy enough to want her as a pet.

Generally speaking, Luka kept his cool under any circumstances. Generally speaking, no vampire, let alone a human could get under his skin. Generally speaking, Luka did not act impulsively.

Yet something about this girl changed all of that within a few seconds.

It wasn't that she was being particularly stupid, rude, or clever. It wasn't that the words she were saying somehow annoyed him. It wasn't anything that made much sense. It was quite simply... her. Perhaps it was what had attracted him to her in the first place. That feeling, that spark he had noticed. Somehow he must have mistaken that 'feeling' and connection for instant hatred, because that is pretty much what it felt like by this point. Which was really funny, considering the fact that emotions just weren't Luka's thing. Objectivity, now that... that was more like Luka, yet here he was, listening to her yap on like an annoying puppy, growing more and more angry by the second.

Therefore, he did the logical thing any vampire in his situation would have: he went for the fear tactic.

He was at the side of the bed in a flash, watching her every reaction as her eyes widened in shock and fear. Obviously she hadn't put two and two together - for him to have taken down a monster, he had to be one himself... even if he didn't look quite like one. Luka was hovering above her a few moments later, suspended a few inches away from her face with one muscular arm. His eyes demanded her silence and utmost attention.

"Pet is precisely the word I would use," He paused, narrowing his gaze a moment, "If I were you, I'd do more listening and less talking, little girl," Luka ordered coolly, the intoxicating sound of her heart speeding and blood pumping faster through her veins reaching his ears. He lowered his lips to her neck, his canines elongating instantly, as he found the juicy, beautiful vein and sunk deep inside of it. His original intentions had been to save this shock for later, but she was proving to be defiant, and he had no patience for such oaf-ish behavior.

Her scream met his ears shortly after, but faded as she was over taken by the haze of the vampire toxin which calmed humans into submission.

"You are mine," Luka stated, so dreadfully cold in his tone, that he was sure she was quivering. Then again, that could have been from the fact that he had just revealed exactly what he was to her. Pulling away, he was once again on his feet, standing by the bed.

Sophia had quickly shut her mouth as the man was by her side in moments. "Hu-" she was cut off as he spoke. Pet She hated the word, and with every word that escaped the man before her she felt hatred form inside her, coating her insides. Sophie had never hated anyone in her life, other then an extreme dislike for religious fanatics and her parents. But she didn't hate them. This man was growing on that area though. He hovered above her and she felt fear and terror trickle through her insides. His eyes seemed to burrow into her soul, causing her lips to shut and remain closed as he continued speaking.

More listening and less talking, little girl. That really made her angry. She was not a little girl, she'd be twenty-one within the month and he was calling her little. She had the urge to smack him, but even if the chains hadn't held her fists down, her fear would keep her from raising a hand to the man.

He got closer to her and she really wanted to run, to disappear into a void of happy and blissful memories, but his lips lowered to her neck and she closed her eyes in fright. A scream echoed in the room as she felt something sharp sink into her neck, her eyes flew open as she cried out, her hands clutching at the sheets beneath her body. He was a monster, just like the one in the alley! Vampire He was a vampire! The old myths were all true! She shivered as her blood flowed into his mouth and a haze trickled over her mind and body.

Sophia fell gently against the pillow as he pulled away, her eyes glazed over with whatever substance filled the vampires bite. "Bastard..." she cursed, her lips moving very slowly as she eventually willed her eyes into a deep glare. "I am not yours..." she whispered fiercely, eyes determined to remain defiant of the monstrous man before her.

Luka narrowed his eyes a bit, his anger dulled by the lovely warmth in his throat. An upside was that she certainly tasted good. He could already tell, however, that she brought out the worst in him. Even that slightest retort had made him want to prove her so terribly wrong, that she would regret the day she ever talked back to him. Who did she think she was? A human in comparison to his superior race, and that was all. She would soon learn her place - he would make sure of that.

Luckily for the girl, Luka had to leave that very night for another one of his many business trips. This one was a bit long - he'd be gone for a few days, and as he had her longer, he would take her with him. She obviously wasn't broken nor obedient at this point, making that impossible for the time being. So she would simply have to wait by herself for the next few days (say for the maids who brought her food and water) to mull over her situation. Anticipation and waiting always made humans antsy, so really, it worked out in his favor.

"She fought and screamed a lot," One of his maids informed him, as Luka stepped back through the door, a black box tied with a crimson ribbon in his hand. So she was still resistant... and would only prove to be even more resistant upon his returning. That was okay, Luka had made a visit to a Witch specifically for his new pet.

"Good evening," He greeted formally, entering her room. The maid had given her different clothes - she was now wearing a short, satin black dress. His lips twitched in a half-smile as he realized how upset that probably made her, to be showing that much skin. He took pleasure in her discomfort, they were obviously just made not to get along.

"Still disobeying I see," Luka paused, a metallic edge to his gaze as he pulled a rather heavy arm chair with one arm over to the edge of the bed, seating himself there. "I've got a present for you," He mused, untying the ribbon and opening the box to reveal a long, black feather. All Luka was waiting for was for her to make some sort of comment... to dishonor him in some way.

It was in his nature to be sadistic, that paired with the fact that there was something about her despised and well, Luka was quite looking forward to the little punishment he had in store.

Sophia was fuming in discomfort and anger. She'd almost hit every maid that came near her! The nerve! They tried to change her clothing! She now laid on the same bed in a silken dress that was much to short for her tastes. The girl was almost at the point of tears, she was more alone now then she'd ever been. She was stuffed in a bedroom with only stupid maids as company, and they didn't talk to her. "Stupid stupid..."

For several meals she refused to eat, she was too angry. She felt like death was a better future then to become the pet to an arrogant vampire. Her hair was smoothed down around her face as she laid quietly atop the plush bed. Her legs were cold to the touch from being bare for so long. She wanted to slide beneath the blankets and fall asleep, but she'd heard from whispering servants that the man was returning soon. Sophie couldn't let herself fall asleep just to awaken to his amused smile. "I don't even know his stupid name..." she grumbled angrily. She looked up at the ceiling and heard a trail of footsteps. "Oh wonderful..." the door opened and she looked over at him. "The wicked witch of the west is home at long last?" she snapped,"I do hope you got horribly injured on your journey, perhaps someone bit off a few toes? Get mauled by a wolf?" she taunted, eyes narrowed at the vampire.

"You know I don't know your name, though I suppose I'm supposed to call you 'Master'..." she scoffed at the idea. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at the box in his hand, her brow raised as she listened to his words. "A present? Mhm...I just love feathers...rip that from a pretty bird did you?" she grumbled.

"Do you even know my name, you...you.." she couldn't think of a mean word to use so she settled with,"JERK!" she cried out, lips pursed out in a pout. "I've been sitting in here practically alone for all this time. You treat your pets horribly..." she shook her head and made a tsk tsk noise with them. "Can't get a television? Some music? No...just a bed..chains...and this ridiculously scandalous dress!" Sophia was livid, her anger flaring as she watched the man. He'd left her to wallow in her own self hatred and fear. How could he do that? Oh..he was a monster, that was how! The chains were heavy on her wrists and she could only image the marks they'd leave once they were eventually removed.

"I hope you get hit by a falling space rock...go right through your cold little dead heart..." she whispered angrily as she watched the feather with disinterest. It was a feather? Seriously. What on earth could the man do with a feather? Tickle her to death?

Luka shrugged at her remarks, her words hardly fazing him by this point.

"Master will do," He responded harshly, not bothering to give her anything else. She didn't need to know anything else, it simply wasn't her place. She was obviously the type that couldn't go very long without talking - the being alone must've taken it's toll on her, because she literally would not shut up, despite the fact that he had already shown her once just the tip of the iceberg as far as how scary he could be. No matter, she had long sealed the deal for him to test out his new little toy. It hadn't really been in Luka's nature to contemplate the demise of others... yet he had been analyzing how best to destroy her disobedience ever since he had left for his trip. She was fighting a losing battle.

"What is your name, pet?" Luka mocked, ignoring her comments about the feather as he rose to his feet, extending his hands towards her. Luka was careful to make sure his fingers only came in contact with the material of her dress - he was weary of touching her, for whatever reason. The comical tone to her comments disappeared instantly, as he hardly tugged on the silk dress, causing it to rip all the way up the side. He discarded it then, leaving her only in her bra and panties. He could tell she was flustered - however quickly, her words returned to his ears, spurring him further. He ignored this primal anger and almost... lust, or passion, or an emotion that was sort of alien to him began coursing through his veins.

The Witch had put two spells on the feather: one made it possible for him to manipulate it with his mind, and the other... well, she was about to find out. Seating himself in his arm chair, Luka waved his finger, the feather raising and hovering over towards her, the tip of it lowering to the wound still present on her neck from where he had bitten her.

He had to admit - the sudden recoil of her body as the feather came in contact with her skin, was so delightful, he almost smiled. She looked like she had been electrocuted, which in a sense, he supposed she had. It was a fairly common toy among vampires when concerning their pets, one that the Witch had offered to him. It was sort of like inflicting an orgasm upon the person being touched by the feather, but if you could imagine, even more intense, depending on the controller's desire. The effect was a painfully pleasurable sensation... one that no human being could resist, nor thoroughly enjoy. It was the definition of bittersweet.

Luka watched with calculating eyes as her chest heaved a little, her skin breaking out in goosebumps as she watched and waited in bated breath. With the flick of his finger, the tip of the feather once again touched her neck, though this time instead of pulling it away, it traced an invisible line slowly from the curve of her neck to the crevice of her collar bone, drifting to the center of her chest, nestling itself directly between her two perky breasts.

Sophia rolled her eyes at the man's words. She would not call him master, she'd call him jerk-face before anything else. She looked at him as he spoke, he'd asked her name and she felt like expressing it. "Friends call me Sophie, you can call me Sophia..." she growled. She did NOT want to be called pet for her stay with the crazy vampire. As soon as the words left her lips she was aware of his fingers tugging at her dress, the next thing she knew she was covered in only her undergarments. A shriek escaped her lips, and her eyes went wide,"You!" she cried out. She wanted to fully cover herself with her arms, pull her legs up to her chest, but the chains stopped her from completing that wish. Sophie looked up from her almost bare body and saw the feather, confusion crossed her expression as she watched it rise and hover. "Wha-" she wanted to question him, question the floating feather. However, the fact that vampires existed, as well as demons made her figure a floating feather was the least of her worries, until it touched her.

The black feather hovered over her neck wound, the two punctures still there from the few days earlier when he'd bitten her. Her instincts told her to move away from it and so she pressed herself farther into the bed, trying to inch away from its touch. Nothing worked, the damn chains stopped her. A yelp escaped her parted lips as the feather lightly grazed her neck, the skin raising in goosebumps. "No.." she whispered as her eyes closed. So many sensations were rolling over her skin, her body jumping at the light touches. Pain and pleasure whirled around her created groans and whimpers from her lips. "Stop.." she cried out softly. She didn't know how to feel about the touches from the magical object.

Her breath caught in her throat as the feather drew a line of pleasure and electrical shocks of pain down from her neck and to her collar bone. Her back arched against the bed as a moan escaped her lips. The feather continued on a path until it was setting between her breasts, continuing its mixed up sensations. "Wha-What...are you doing?" she stammered her chest heaving up and down as her breathing became rapid and unsteady.

Her fingers slid across the sheets and then gripped them tightly, further deepening the arch in her back, her hips lifted from the bed. Another whimper escaped her lips as she looked over at the man who was now supposed to be her master. "Why?" she purred as she closed her eyes against the sudden jolt of pleasure that washed over her. Once the pleasure spun up from her core another wave of pain danced across her nerve endings. "Stop this!" she complained wiggling against the chains that kept her so close to the floating feather.

Luka had been completely expecting the sick, twisted sort of enjoyment he got out of watching her squirm helplessly. It was interesting, the effect the extremes of pain and pleasure had on an individual. All of that being said, he hadn't been expecting the twisting in his stomach to intensify, and he certainly hadn't been anticipating the fact that he couldn't tear his eyes off of her. Why? It wasn't like she was the first beautiful creature he'd laid his eyes on - it wasn't like he'd never had a mostly naked girl squirming in one of his beds before. Luka didn't know, and to put it simply, he was a bit of a control freak; he didn't like not knowing why and what feelings he was experiencing.

"Did I say you could ask questions?" He growled simply, the more she talked and the more she whined reinforcing the reason he was doing this in the first place. Of course, Luka just had to choose a challenge. A voice in the back of his mind told him that a pet wouldn't have been any fun without a challenge, but he silenced that quickly. She would be broken by the next Ball, or the next time he had guests over.

"Like I said before, more listening, less talking," The vampire repeated, the scowl on his face almost mocking as his pinky finger wiggled and the feather dragged up the curve of her left breast, to the side of her torso, and all the way down the side of her stomach. Her confusion and frustration was getting the better of her, and his annoyance was getting the better at him. He was conflicted by two very different feelings. On the one hand, keeping her around was a nuisance considering the fact that all she did at this point, was piss him off. On the other hand... there was something about the way she arched her back, or parted her lips that ignited an inferno of flames inside of him. She would be his. Body and soul.

The feather lept down then to just above her knee, caressing the soft flesh of her leg as it traveled higher and higher until it was resting on the innermost crease of her inner thigh. She was quaking so hard she was nearly convulsing - Luka was having trouble remaining just an observer. He rose to his feet, so quiet that through her experiencing the feather, she hadn't heard him, and came to the end of the bed. By virtue of the feather, she had naturally parted her thighs, giving him just the opening he needed as he brought his head down to the opposite inner thigh the feather was teasing, and bit down a bit roughly. Her whimpers and groans had turned into screams, but that only added to the effect as her warm, crimson blood rushed down his throat.

Sophia frowned at his words, he was pushing her around like he owned her. Last time she checked she wasn't owned by anyone, especially a vampire. Her words were indeed cut short as the feather began its path downward, she moaned softly as the pleasurable bliss filed her insides and she gasped. So many things were happening at once and she couldn't handle them all, her head was spinning so fast and her heartbeat was flying. Pain shot through her and managed to create a cry of agony from her lips. Her toes curled into the sheets as the feather traveled down to her stomach, and then she stiffened as it jumped to her knee, working its way up to her thigh. Her legs parted as the pleasure called her in, lured her like a moth to the flame.

She hadn't even seen the man stand from his viewing seat, but there he was, at the end of the bed, leaning his lips into her thigh. While one feather worked teasingly at her one inner thigh, causing mixed sensations rush through her blood, his lips and fangs pressed down harshly into her other thigh. The room was filled with screaming as his fangs dug into her skin, tears actually brimming in her eyes, threatening to decorate her face. "Stop it, please..." she pleaded her breathing now painful as her chest rose and fell to the horrible pain and pleasure attacking every fiber of her being.

Yes, surely it would have been better to die at the hands of the demon in the alley. Perhaps it would have even been better to live as the religious daughter she was supposed to be, but no she had always fought her fate. Now her fate had changed, she was to be tortured and fed upon for the rest of her mortal life. The tears finally fell over her cheeks, creating a shiny trail of salty water to slide down her cheeks. Her head thrashed back and forth, her hair getting caught in the moisture upon her cheeks. Even as he fed upon her thigh, the feather continued to evoke feelings from inside, her core growing hotter and hotter with the building pleasure.

Sophia began to think she should just be obedient to the man. Perhaps then he wouldn't do this to her, wouldn't cause her body to feel such confusion, pain, and pleasure. But then she frowned, no! She wouldn't make it easy for him, if she was to go through this, she'd embarrass him, and put him through much agitation and annoyance. He picked the wrong girl to break, because she wasn't easily broken.

Luka reveled in the perfume of her blood, savoring it like a sweet wine, before pulling away. Humans couldn't healthily replenish much blood very quickly - he had to be sparing as far as taking her blood was concerned, unless he wished to kill her, which at this point he did not. Not so quickly anyway. Her servitude had to come first.

"Are you ready to play nice now?" He asked coolly, his eyes still slightly dilated, only adding to his ethereal presence. It was a wonder it took humans so long to figure out what he was - the longer you looked, the less 'human' he appeared. There was something about vampires that screamed unnatural beauty, paired with a natural predatory grace. Luka didn't have to wait for her response; the look in her eyes said it all.

"What a shame," The vampire responded with a shrug, in one swift motion pulling a pocket knife from his boot, leaning down over top of her. The knife was party to scare her, but more importantly so he didn't have to make skin to skin contact. Sliding the sharp edge of the blade over the side of her bra, it tore through the material, also leaving a thin, shallow line of broken skin. He repeated the process on the other side, until her bra in question, was now rendered useless. Pulling it away, Luka's eyes wandered over her for a moment. They weren't hungry looking, nor were they entirely impassive. There was a certain tension there, the same that resided in the air between them, that let onto the fact that she had some sort of unusual effect on him. The feather drifted over to the other thigh, the one still bleeding a bit from the two puncture wounds. Luka willed it to increase a small amount in intensity. Sophia hadn't been expecting that, he was sure, as her eyes widened and more tears sprang to their watery depths. Luka didn't smile, instead he lowered his head to the side of her ribcage, where gentle ruby droplets were sliding down her skin from where his knife had cut her. He suckled the blood up gently into his mouth, finding that the more he tasted her, the harder she became to resist.

"With your obedience comes rewards, and freedoms," He teased, his tone almost taking a seductive turn now as he watched the heat rush to her face, the feather doing it's job. There wasn't anything quite like being helpless over your own body, Luka knew that, and used it full well to his advantage. "Learning to do as I say will only serve to help you, Sophia" It was the first time he used her name, it rolled off his tongue nicely, and he saw that she looked at him a little differently because of it.

Her body was shaking with the effort not to surrender to the feather, or the heat building inside of her. Luka knew it was coming, she knew it was coming (no pun intended); it was only a matter of time.

Kneeling on the bed, he watched her with calculating eyes, the heavy rise and fall of her chest as she continuously squirmed away from the feather, not wanting to submit to the inevitable. Leaning down so he was nearly on top of her as he had done the day she had awoken, Luka wanted so badly to humiliate her he didn't really care about much else. Too quickly for her to properly react, he had the flat of his palm pressed firmly against the material of her underwear concealing the throbbing lips of her pussy, her legs already spread in spite of herself.

"Cum," It was a soft order, but one she couldn't refuse, as he felt her entire body contract in response, and even more heat rush to her face. He held his hand there for a moment, allowing strong fingers to trace the length of the material, arching an eyebrow just exactly how soaked she was. Pulling himself off of the bed without a word, Luka offered her an amused glance before making his way to exit the room. Just as he was walking through the door, he turned back around to glance at her over his shoulder, waving his hand a bit. The feather lifted off the bed and hovered back over towards her legs. He wasn't done toying with her - even if he had some business to attend to, at the moment.

As the man lifted his lips and fangs from her smooth thigh she felt slight relief. His words made her scowl, her eyes narrowing despite the pleasure overwhelming her. She watched him closely, trying desperately to focus on something, trying to keep herself from being taken over by the feathers powers. But as she watched him she became more and more frightened, he whipped out a blade from his boot and leaned over her. Sophia bit her lip, eyes wavering as she watched him. A small cry emitted from her lips as the blade touched her skin and cut her bra material, leaving it useless in covering her. She sniffled and let more tears fall from her eyes,"You're heartless!" she cried out. His eyes grazed over her, but he didn't seem aroused or even hungry, but it was odd. It was as if she affected him differently then a normal woman would.

The feather floated at her thigh still and then a sudden increase in the painful pleasure shot through her. If it was even possible, more tears shed from her eyes. Sophia cried out, but then bit her tongue, trying increasingly hard to ignore the feelings welling up inside her. He wanted her to be obedient, and in return he'd give her a little bit of freedom and some rewards. The thought whirled around her mind, calling for her to accept, telling her to just give into him. Do what she was told! But another part of the human was telling her to fight him for as long as she could. She cried out in both pleasure and frustration. His head lowered to the side of her ribcage, where he sucked lightly, ridding her skin of the blood that had slid down from the cut on her chest.

The feel of his mouth increased the pleasure for a moment, causing her to forget the pain as a soft moan escaped her lips. But then she gritted her teeth as everything threatened to overtake her at long last. "No!" she cried her back falling against the sheets only to rise again as she began shaking with the effort not to explode at the feelings inside of her.

She looked at her 'master' and narrowed her eyes as she saw him watching her, his watch careful and precise. Her chest was rising in the same painfully fast and deep way. As he leaned over her she stiffened at the feel of his hand against her underwear. A whimper escaped her lips as yet another jolt of pleasure wracked her body. Parts of her seemed numb from the constant painful sensations, but her inside were still burning and thrumming with pleasure. "Please.." she whimpered, but he spoke again and she felt herself gasp, a moan sliding from her lips as she did as she was commanded.

She came, her body tensing and shaking for a moment, body wracked with intense pleasure, a small edge of pain from the still working feather. His fingers traced the length of her panties, making her wiggling in discomfort, eyes closed and lips parted as she whimpered. Her body was weak from the constant stress of pleasure and pain, and her chest was heaving in hard, challenging breaths.

The man stood from the bed, giving her a rather amused looked before he turned to leave. Leave! Sophia's eyes were wide as she heard him step away. "No! Don't-" she cried out,"Don't leave me with this thing!" she begged. "Please?!" she pleaded as her tears brimmed over. She was already weak, her voice strained with the effort it took to speak. As he looked over his shoulder at her he waved his hand and the feather floated and hovered over towards her legs. He wasn't finished!

She screamed in agitated frustration and fear. Her eyes wavered as she looked at the thing. A part of her body yearned for its pleasant touch, but her mind and soul feared it, knowing it would cause pain and cause her to lose control of herself. Surely if he left her with that damnable feather she'd be worn out within minutes more. What if he left her with it for hours?

She'd be lying there, breathing slow and ragged, eyes wide and body twitching involuntarily, with tears covering her face and the pillow beneath her, while her panties would easily be soaked through. She'd be a shell of a girl, worn to thin from the mixture of bliss and terror.

Luka didn't act on his desires, nor did he let them spread across his face; that would just have to wait. He had to keep his cool, it created more of an impact on the girl. The goal was not to fuck her brains out -even if he wanted to-, the goal was for her to submit to him in every aspect. Whether she liked it or not, there was something between them, some sort of chemistry... a love hate kind of deal. Perhaps that was why it was so easy for him to leave her there with the pleasure inducing feather, only taking delight out of her predicament. She made his blood boil, without even really trying it. Truth be told, that ability scared Luka a bit; never before had he met a woman, let alone anyone, who could do that to him.

Approximately six hours later, Luka returned, to find a mess of the girl he had left behind. He supposed he was probably being a bit hard on her... it was the sadistic parts of him coming out. The fact that her pillow was wet with tears and she was actually shaking uncontrollably by this point was sort of a turn on. That being said, something tugged at his cold, small but present heartstrings at the hazy look in her eyes as she barely took note of his presence. Luka waved the feather away from Sophia, her whimpers and sniffles quieting a bit as her body went completely lax on the bed.

"What important lesson have you learned today?" Luka asked a bit smugly, the arrogant tone to his voice never wavering, despite the fact that her large, almost innocent eyes were begging him for sympathy and compassion. Gliding over to the bed, he arched a smooth eyebrow, moonlight streaming in the window and accentuating his features, as well as her own. For a split second a glimmer of both desire and sympathy flashed through his eyes, though it was gone before she could have really been sure. "You are mine, and I can do with you whatever I want," He paused seating himself at the edge of the bed, fingers extending out towards between her legs, to which she instantly appeared to shrink away from his touch. Feeling the soaked through material, he cocked his head to the side "Even make you feel things you don't want to feel," He added, trying to nail the coffin shut so to speak. If he could do that to her, anything was possible, no?

The girl was spent. There was no way she had the energy to do anything except for sleep... so Luka, for the time being, took pity on the whimpering, shivering, fearful creature. Pulling his pocket knife back out of his boot, he was careful this time not to mar her skin as he cut the two sides of her useless underwear, wearily tossing it aside. Standing from the bed, he walked over to a chest of drawers and pulled out a nightgown, as well as thicker blankets and sheets. Vampires liked to keep the house cold - she had been shivering ever since she had gotten here. Not to mention the fact that the blankets she were laying on were quite wet by this point, her juices and sweat mingling with any blood he may have accidentally spilled.

Unlocking the chains around her arms and ankles, he picked the limp girl easily up into his strong arms, setting her over in the arm chair, before changing her sheets and blankets. Walking back over towards her, he pulled the nightgown over her head, before once again loading her into his arms and tucking her in. She probably hadn't gotten good sleep in days. He would offer her this one break... this one chance to prove that she was on the path to obedience. Brushing loose thick hair away from her face, he leaned down, and in a whisper, spoke.

"Try to escape, and the consequences will make the feather look and feel like nothing,"

Sophie had laid there, convulsing and screaming for hours. She hadn't been able to think about anything, once he'd left the room there was nothing to focus on, all she could do was bend to the will of the feather. She had screamed profanities, she'd whimpered, she'd pleaded to the air, nobody came, nobody aided her. Where was her guardian angel? Her knight in shining armor? Nowhere. Fairy-tales and stories of hopeful rescues didn't exist in reality. Anguish and despair had long ago washed over Sophia, making her cry out even more against the pleasure and numbing pain. When the man had originally left the room she had felt a pull, a need to tag along and follow him, be by his side, but a hatred instantly shot up and covered that urge. She wouldn't dare give into him!

Hours passed and Sophia was indeed lying atop the bed, a complete and total mess. Her legs were limp, much like her whole body, but she was still twitching and jerking at involuntary moments. A groan of weariness escaped her parted lips and her eyes, which had long ago glazed over, closed for a moment. The feather finally lifted from her poor, weak body and she found that her movements stilled completely and she was finally able to let a small bit of relief wash over her. It was when the feather had been moved that she finally took notice of his presence near her.

Her body quickly tensed with what strength it had left, and a soft cry of fear escaped her lips as he approached her. He, was someone to be feared, someone she surely didn't wish to get close to, to even spend time with.

Sophie listened to his words, her eyes half open. What important lesson have you learned today? Don't walk in alleyways. Don't play with feathers. Don't back-talk sadistic and arrogant vampires. Oh she had learned countless lessons, but that didn't mean she'd follow them. She was snappy and witty by nature, she wouldn't stop just because of some 'master' ordering her about. His hand lowered to his boot again to pull out the same knife and her eyes widened in terror. "No...please..." she pleaded, her lips barely moving, her words hardly audible. Even make you feel things you don't want to feel. That was the truth, she'd fought all day to not feel the pleasure, nor the pain radiating from her body. But her body had betrayed her, had given over to its wills.

The useless underwear were cut from her body, this time without leaving a mark, and she didn't even care that she was completely bare to him. She didn't have the energy to care. Not at the moment anyway. He returned to her side after disappearing for a moment. The chains around her arms and ankles went limp, falling from her bruised and cut limbs. She'd been fighting against them for so long, so harshly, she'd actually caused herself pain and injury. She didn't try to fight him as he lifted her into his arms and set her in his armchair. She watched lazily as he changed her sheets and approached her again.

She was dressed, and she still had no reaction. He lifted her back into his arms and then took her to the bed, tucking her tired body away. The chains were left alone, her wrists and ankles were thankful of that. She rested her head comfortably into the pillows behind her and then turned to the hand that brushed hair from her face. Her eyes watched him a little warily as he leaned down and whispered,"Yes..." she whispered as her eyes started to slide closed. Try to escape, and the consequences will make the feather look and feel like nothing. After the day she had, there was no way she'd try to escape. At least not for the moment. She wasn't strong enough to escape at the moment, maybe she'd play along with him for awhile, then plan an exit.

Her body had enough of thinking, sleep overtook her, her body going limp beneath the now warm and cozy blankets.

Luka awoke the next evening, leisurely starting his routine of showering, dressing, and heading towards the kitchen for breakfast. On the way there, he made a slight detour to Sophia's room. The door creaked open a bit as he peaked inside, only to find her still slumbering away. Good, she hadn't tried to leave. He'd have to reward her for that.

After finishing is breakfast, Luka returned to her room, to find her stirring a bit, her eyes squeezed tight in concentration. A nightmare, most probably. Behind him, one of the nicer Maids followed, one of the few he bothered in remembering her name: Melanie. Gently nudging her awake, Luka's eyes held their usual cold intensity, though the edge of hate had softened quite a bit from yesterdays ordeals. Circling her small wrist with his hand, he willed the flesh to heal, a quite rare gift among vampires that he himself had inherited. When he was through with her wrists, the skin was a bit red and tender, but no longer cut, bruised and destroyed. He repeated the same process with her ankles, before meeting her gaze directly.

"This is Melanie, she'll help you get ready as well as show you the kitchen, where there is breakfast waiting," He paused then, gauging her reaction. She was still tired. The feather and feeding had taken more out of her than he had previously anticipated. Oh well. "Can you walk?" He asked her directly, knowing that the answer was most probably no, but guessing that she would try to anyway. That wasn't much of his concern, really, but he felt compelled to ask anyway. Tragically noble, despite his tendencies towards sadism.

Sophia was wiggling beneath the covers of the bed, her eyes squeezed shut as she slowly slid out of her dream and nightmare filled slumber. A nudge made her groan in agitation, she was tired, who was nudging her? Then she opened her eyes slowly and almost yelp in fright. Him. He was still there. Which meant her ordeals the day before had not been a horrible nightmare, but had indeed happened. She didn't do much, but did actually close her eyes a bit more, relaxing against the comforting mattress. Her eyes did however open as the man lifted her wrist with his hand, and she felt a tingling sensation, he did the same with her other wrist and her ankles. They still looked red, and felt a bit tender, but they were healed. Healed! She looked at him with a curious expression in her eyes.

A soft yawn escaped her lips and she rubbed her eyes gently. She raised her eyes to meet his and nodded silently at his words. Melanie, she would be her companion for a small bit. The thought of breakfast made her smile a bit, her stomach yearning for something solid. Another yawn slipped by her and her eyes watered from the action. Sophia moved to sit up on the bed and frowned. She was exhausted even after a full nights sleep. She shrugged when he asked her if she could walk,"I...I'm not sure..." she whispered softly. At least for the day she was going to try and not get on his nerves too much, give herself time to recover before she got snappy with him.

Sophia slipped slowly off the side of the bed, her ankles a little weak from not being used for awhile. Sophie wobbled a bit and held onto the side of the bed, she didn't look at him, slightly embarrassed by her own weakness as a human. "I'll be fine..." she murmured quietly as she tested her ankles a bit. Silently she looked up at her so called master and watched him, wondering when he would leave to let her get ready with Melanie and get herself some food.

Sophie sat back on the bed, not willing to try a few steps in front of him. He'd seen her messed up enough, no reason to lose anymore pride in front of him. "Thank...you..." she murmured,"For my..." she lifted her wrist and ankle in a motion to explain her words.

Luka wasn't quite sure how two months had gone by so quickly, but they had. Time was sort of irrelevant in a vampire's life, simply because you had so much of it. But this was moving faster than normal. Sophia had adapted quite fast, and made an effort to strike a balance between being a bit feisty, whilst staying in line. As such, he had loosened the leash so to speak. She was now free to roam around the castle to her liking, as long as she stayed away from a spare few rooms, as well as treat herself to food whenever she wanted, and ultimately take care of herself. Luka was a busy man, so often it was up to her to entertain herself. Through all of this, their relationship had changed a bit. There were flashes of the same intensity as before, but by now, things had gotten oddly comfortable, despite the situation.

He gave her freedoms that no other pets were allowed. Freedom of opinion, and even freedom of choice. He didn't use her as his personal fuck toy, and had in fact given her privacy ever since the feather incident. It was strange - he hadn't expected the relationship to evolve in the way it had, nor had he expected to find himself even semi-respecting a human. She was intelligent, and spunky, and he liked that about her. She didn't make snide remarks about him very often, and when she did, she was joking, and he would merely send her an amused glance.

More than anything, they had become friends.

She had also managed to charm his house staff, including Melanie, who had become practically her best friend. For the most part, they were inseparable, and Luka allowed them both that privilege. He was well aware of the fact that 'pet' had really lost it's meaning when it came to Sophia, but without her egging him on, he really had no interest in harming her or making her do humiliating/degrading things. She was a companion of sorts, he supposed, and in an odd sort of way, his life was better because of her. He actually found himself laughing on certain occasions because of her slightly crazy sense of humor; Luka would have never been found laughing before Sophia entered the picture. The house staff had taken notice to the effect she had on his mood, and therefore didn't bother making comments about the strange nature of their relationship. The happier Luka was, the easier their jobs became. So it was a win win for everyone, so to speak.

"Here's your apples," Luka spoke briskly, sliding the bowl over to Sophia as she sat perched up on the counter. He had found that she didn't like wearing dresses much - he still made her wear them occasionally though. Apples were her favorite fruit; oftentimes Luka cut them up for her, another nice note to their relationship, showing that she had somehow managed to thaw the icy vampire out... at least, to a certain extent anyway.

The weeks had turned into months, and Sophia had forgotten about the earlier moments of her time with Luka. Her fear had diminished with each of her gained freedoms. She had learned the halls of the castle, learning to appreciate the staff that would help her around. She'd even learned to appreciate Luka. He wasn't a horrible person, he had a heart, despite how hidden from the world he kept it. He still bossed her around when he needed to, but she felt like it was more for show, then because of any hard feelings.

They had become friends, something that Sophia had forgotten she could have. She'd never had real friends, only the foolish people her parents had made her hang out with, Luka was someone she didn't mind being around. She could roam the castle as she wished, there were a few places off limits and she accepted that, understanding that some things she just didn't need to explore. Luka would often times go on trips away from the castle, and so she'd come to terms with having to find other ways to occupy her time. Melanie, one of the maids from when she had first arrived at Luka's castle, had become her best friend. She went to Melanie when nothing else was exciting, when she wanted to talk. Melanie was there when Luka was not.

She didn't feel like a pet anymore, and she was still able to express her attitude in teasing comments every now and again. It was a good day when she able to make Luka laugh. She enjoyed making Luka happy, it was one of the highlights of her time with him.

Sophia was perched upon the kitchen counter, her legs crossed. She was wearing a pair of jeans and a long-sleeve v-neck shirt, it was one of the days that Luka didn't make her wear a dress. Dresses were okay, but she preferred to wear jeans and skirts, they were just more comfortable to her. She looked over at Luka and smiled as he spoke. "Oh yum!" she took the apples as the bowl was slid over towards her. She grabbed one and took a bite with a small laugh. "So...Luka..." she laughed quietly.

"Do you have another trip...?" she spoke curiously, her eyes watching him closely.

Luka glanced over at Sophia as she spoke. Lately she had been making teasing comments about 'missing him' when he was gone; he figured this was just another comment leading to another one of those conversations. At some point, he got the feeling she would ask to come along with him, an idea he had been considering as of late.

"Yeah, I'll be gone about three days," He paused, smiling "Melanie will keep you company, as usual," Going for the dishes, he began rinsing them himself. Generally the maids and slaves took care of that, but Luka was a hands on kind of guy, pretty down to earth, he didn't need others to do stuff like that for him. "Maybe sometime soon you can start coming with me," He commented, looking at her munch on her apples. The image made him half-smile a bit. If she did come along she would at least have to pretend like she was beaten into submission on a regular basis, and had no spirit left inside of her. That was the general standard for Pets, let alone pets of Royalty.

"Master Luka, your sheets are out of the wash, would you like me to put them on for you?" Melanie asked, her blonde curls falling in her face a bit. She always got a little flustered around him, Luka had written it off as a school girl type crush. His servants usually asked him before completing tasks in his room, merely because it was his private space.

"Nahh, Sophie can take care of that, can't she?" Luka asked rhetorically with a cheeky grin, just to show he was pushing her around because he could. It was all in good fun of course - he liked getting her wound up. Especially considering the fact that now, instead of truthfully calling him harsh names, she whined and whined whilst completing whatever task he asked of her.

The idea of going with Luka when he went away sort of excited Sophia. She smiled when he mentioned it, but then frowned. "Three whole days! Who am I going to tease till you return! If I tease Melanie she'll throw stuff at me.." she laughed lightly, joking with Luka. She continued to bite her apple as the thought consumed her. Go with Luka on his trips? It would certainly be more exciting then only wandering the castle. She hadn't been out of the castle in forever, she would enjoy a fresh place to explore. Well- not really explore because she was sure wherever they went she'd have to actually act like a pet.

Melanie entered the room and Sophia waved her hand with a small grin. "Sheets...I bet they were dirty weren't they? He's very dirty...you should see him when he comes back from trips," she teased. She was kidding because Luka kept himself in very nice condition, he was royal after all. She almost choked on her apple at the next words that escaped Luka's lips. "Me-What!" she frowned. "Luka..." she whined. "I'm eating..." she mumbled softly, her eyes lit with amusement despite her obvious dislike of changing the sheets.

She hopped off the counter and tossed the remainder of her apple in the trash. "Fine...Master Luka...I'll go change your sheets for you," she mused. Sophia rolled her eyes with a small smile and headed out of the room, her feet taking her towards the room she remembered as being Luka's. She hadn't ever actually been in the room though, only walked by it. Melanie told her that nobody went into his room without permission first. The sheets were sitting in a basket by the door and so she picked it up and balanced it on her hip.

Sophia assumed she had permission and so she took her other hand and closed it around the doorknob before turning it and swinging open the door. Humming softly she walked towards the bare bed and set the sheets atop the mattress. "I am not a maid, I'm a pet...Pet's get treated nicely with treats and affection...like a dog...or cat...Maids do dirty work..." she said quietly her smile growing with every word. Had she really just compared herself to a dog or a cat?

Luka laughed a little as she mused to herself, following her merely to make sure she hadn't forgotten where his room was. Sophie had the tendency of getting lost - which made sense because of how large his castle was, he just now tried to avoid those situations. Especially seeing as there were some rooms and entire sections she shouldn't have seen at all. Vampire life wasn't pretty, she knew that, and seemed to for the most part accept it. The first few days she had been there seemed like so, so far away.

Striding into the room, he watched her handy work, pretending to be quite scrutinizing. He was actually though, in all honesty. Luka was a bit of a perfectionist, Sophie knew that and even though she rolled her eyes, she smoothed out all of the wrinkles in his sheets. He definitely had some obsessive compulsive tendencies - everything had to be even, everything had to be straight. He didn't like disorder.

With his vampire reflexes and sharp vision, he watched as Sophie slid off the bed, and her pant leg caught on a sharp edge of his bed frame. She wasn't quick enough to respond, but he was, managing to reach her side and catch her before she face planted into the ground. She was a bit of a clumsy little thing, though he supposed all humans were in comparison to him. Holding her forearm, a strange sensation pulsed through his hand that he vaguely recognized from oh... somewhere around two months ago. Her skin burned his. Like, literally, to the point that it was almost uncomfortable. Sub consciously he tightened his grip on her arm, his eyes shifting downward to meet her own.

"Be more careful," He said coolly, though his voice had dropped an octave or so. Something had changed. Something between them was different.

Sophia made sure to smooth out every little tiny wrinkle, wanting everything to be perfect for Luka. She was aware of him in the room with her, which made her even more careful to perfect the sheets alignment. She was still humming to herself as she walked around the bed. Just as she seemed to be finishing up she caught her leg on the edge of his bed frame, her body beginning to fall forward, a yelp escaped her lips, and she was expecting to hit the ground in any moment.

She had closed her eyes, bracing for impact but instead she was caught. Her eyes fluttered open and she was looking up at Luka, her eyes wide as he held her forearm. Her heart was racing as she looked into his eyes, her lips slightly parted. He told her to be more careful she realized. She stammered a response a few moments later,"S-sorry..." she mumbled, eyes still watching him closely.

His voice had dropped, and it sent shivers across her skin. As he held her arm his grip tightened and she tensed. "Luka..." she whispered, eyes roaming his face. Something pulled inside of her, something urged her to lean into him, but the sensations rolling of her arm where he held her, stopped her. It felt familiar, the feelings were from awhile back. Back when she first arrived in the castle. "Luka..." she whispered once more, she straightened from her stumble and looked down at the arm he still held tightly.

Sophia took her other hand slowly and lifted it, placing it against his cheek, the intense burn of their skin making contact building up in her palm. "What..." she was so confused, it was like they were connected in some strange way. It was just like when she'd first seen him, she had felt the urge to follow him, touch him. She had believed it had gone away, but in the close proximity with him, and the close touches she felt it rise inside her again. She was nervous, unsure as to whether he was feeling the same thing.

The last thing that Sophia wanted to do was ruin their friendship, it was one of the few things she cherished in her knew life. If did something stupid in those moments with him, she could possibly ruin everything between them. But if he did something...
