"He said seven..." Kate mumbled to herself as she stood inside of the busy cinema, still waiting for someone who clearly had no signs of showing up. Half an hour later, she had even managed to buy her own ticket and send him two texts wondering if everything had been ok. Maybe she shouldn't have texted him. Maybe it had been too much. She inhaled softly in frustration as she sat down on a bench next to the concessions, tucking a piece of her brunette mid length hair behind her ear. At least she didn't look like a complete idiot. The place was full of middle schoolers, families, and couples on their dates for any of them to realize she was alone or waiting for anyone.

And as she stared down at her cellphone, she couldn't help but wonder why the hell this guy had stood her up. After all, he had been the one to ask her out on a date. She closed her phone and tucked it into her black leather bag before placing it down next to her. She would give him two more minutes to call, to text, or even show up. If not, she swore never to talk to him again. Part of her wanted to believe it was a silly mix up. Maybe he had gotten into an accident or something... But who was she kidding?

Maintaining her composure, she slung her bag over her shoulder before she stood up once more, towering over many of the movie goers almost a decade younger than her. Sure, she was nearly 5'10'' and clearly taller than the average woman, but most of the kids were not a day past twelve--or so it seemed.

Her deep brown eyes scanned the lobby once more, just in case he was there waiting for her.

(( Sorry about the delay. A little hard to get into this as strangers, and being the late guy... ))

Matt walked into the movie theatre and looked down the movie list. He hadn't really come here to watch anything specific, but just thought it would be a fun diversion from sitting at home and watching porn. He was a tall guy, and as he entered the building, his eye twitched at the children going to see this week's new animated flick. The 6'3" man let out a light sigh and bought a ticket for any movie, he knew it didn't matter much, because they never checked to see if you were going to the right room, or if you snuck out from one movie to see another. He walked into the main lobby, looking around at the people, and noticed a tall woman standing and looking around, as if she were waiting for someone.

But that wasn't all that Matt noticed about her. The brown haired man noticed that the brunette woman was rather attractive as well, and he stood in the lobby, on another side of it, to watch her and to see what she would do. She looked frustrated, as if she'd been waiting for awhile, and he wondered what movie she was going in to see. His eyes moved up and down her body a bit, wanting her already, as he hadn't actually had sex in a good while. He remained calm, however, and bought a drink, waiting just a few more minutes to see what movie she went into. If he was lucky, maybe he could follow her and find an empty seat.

Kate immediately gave up. He wasn't coming and there was no use if waiting for someone who wasn't going to show up. She glanced down at the ticket, not really realizing what she had purchased. It was for the action flick that had come out a month ago and was still running for the stragglers who hadn't seen it yet. She figured, why not? No one would notice she was alone and besides, the ticket had nearly cost her thirteen dollars. So with a little bit of motivation, Kate started towards the theatre, crossing the lobby to the other side. She paused for a moment outside of it, double checking to make sure it had been the right one when she felt some eyes on her. Kate glanced over to meet them, just out of curiosity. The man was brown hair, like hers, and nice warm eyes. She flashed a small smile, almost inviting him inside to follow her.

The instant she entered, Kate could only imagine how stupid she must have looked to him. At least pathetic. He didn't know if she was with someone inside, or if her date was already waiting. He would have been very bold to check and she could give him credit for that. And as the darkness of the empty theatre engulfed her, save for a few couples about midway to the movie screen, she found that a seat in the back would be most appropriate. She inched her way down the isle, finally taking a seat. As she did, she unbuttoned her red peacoat and ran her hands through her hair to make sure it looked ok, not that it mattered.

(( Sorry about THAT delay. Things came up, but I'm back now! ))

When he found her eyes meeting his, and she flashed him a smile, he instantly wanted her. He smiled back, and as she walked off he bit his lip and took a moment to gather himself back together. He ran his fingers through his hair and headed to the concession stand to gather a soda and popcorn before he made his way into her movie theatre. He took a deep breath as the darkness engulfed him as well, the trailers beginning to play now, his heart beating as he walked down the secluded side aisle. What was he doing? If she was here with someone, he could sit elsewhere, but... Matt peeked around the corner and looked up, seeing a few couples a bit more than halfway up, and then finally finding her all the way in the back.

He gathered his gumption and headed up the stairs of the theatre to her seat, walking down, between the seats to come sit next to her. He had gathered that she had been stood up from how she'd been acting out in the lobby, so she was likely easy prey, in a way and he leaned down closer, finding her more attractive the closer he got to her. He held out his popcorn near her hand. "Is this seat taken?" He asked, flashing his pearly smile, and trying not to eyeball her. At least... not too hard.
