the line for the ticket counter was long. much longer then ryu expected it to be. i guess she had just exploded in recent months. there was nothing he could do about that. and besides he enjoyed the fact that she had a lot more fans now. more people to talk about it with, and it increased the chances of hearing her songs on the radio. in his eyes she was the best, and she deserved the attention. and if that meant longer waits in line? well so be it.

ryu was twenty years old. for the past five years he had been working towards his dream goal of becoming a mangaka, and had been getting better. in fact he had a little bit of his work published, so he was hoping that soon he would get a series picked up. then he could quit his rather terrible job at a sex toy warehouse, and get to work writing full time. he had this singer. a singer who he wasn't quite obsessed with, but he really liked. to him her voice was the voice of an angel. he had liked ehr before everyone else did, but now? well now her popularity was growing everyday.

finally he got to the front of the line and bought the ticket. after doing so he was ushered into the main concert area. the crowd was pumped, the lights hadn't been drawn yet. everybody was waiting to begin. it cost more money then he wanted to spend to come here, but he had to do it. he ahd to see her in person, that way he could tell her something.

(can you make her be secretly fairly nerdy but pretending not to be?)

Mika could hear the crowd as it gathered into the concert hall, a small but nervous smile on her lips as she paced back and forth. She had recently become a popular singer and the sudden attentin rattled her nerves a little, but she took everything in stride. It had just been a couple months ago that she had been at work in a book store singing to herself while stocking books when she was discovered by the record company that signed her on. Apparently, one of the loyal customers had called the company and told them they had to check her out so they sent a scout out to listen to her without her knowing it. After that it was kind of a whirlwind of things.

She wasn't quite twenty and she looked a little younger then that as well. When the crowd finished filing into the hall, the lights began to dim as the men who played the instruments filed out to their places. Taking a deep breath, she held her head up and walked out onto the stage. She took her place in the middle of the stage and nodded slightly. Once she did, blue light began to light up the stage while the music began to play. Mika was wearing a beautiful white dress, the front stopping at her knees while the back touched the floor. There was one strap of feathers that went over her right shoulder then on the right side of the dress was a long sleeve with a larger strip of feathers along her shoulder and at the end of the sleeve. With the blue and white lights upon her, she looked almost angelic.

Smiling down at the crowd she began singing. Mika's music was a mix of different things. Though it was technically considered pop. Her manager had wanted her to become a teen pop star but she didn't want to do teen pop. It wasn't her style. So she mixed pop with classical and wrote her own songs.

(Yeah. I'll make it so that when in front of fans she's not nerdy but when in private she is.)

ryu sat down in his seat. he knew he would be out of it in just a second, as soon as he could get a chance to see mika. as soon as he could get a chance to confirm his theory. he closed his eyes for a second and took all of the scene in. the chants of the eager crowd. the flashing lights above trying to get the already riled crowd into a frenzy. the people on the sides selling refreshments and merchandise. it was a real treat. and it was an interesting place. the sound of the crowd filled him. maybe he could use this for a future manga idea. it certainly seemed like a good idea. life experienced tended to translate on to the page well, so this could work. and the circumstances in which he was here was also interesting.

the thing is, he was pretty sure he knew mika. it was strange, but she reminded him of someone who he had once known. a girl at his school. he had been confused by this, and had gone back to try to contact her when he figured this out. it was strange to think that he had known a future star when he was younger. one who seemed to demand attention with each move. but here was the strange part. the mikara he had known was a kind hearted shy girl, who was known to be quite innocent and rather nerdy. he was at first throne of by the shortened name and the lack of glasses, but the more he looked at her the more he realized it was her. so today he had to come and find out if it was the girl he knew once and for all.

slowly he started moving towards the stage as mika came on. she was wearing a feather ornated dress that made her look like she descended from heaven. and then she opened her mouth to sing. her voice was to him also like that of an angel. but right now he was paying more attention to the girl herself. she seemed to be caught in a confident flow. a smile forming around her mouth a she sung while doing choreographed dance moves. she seemed nothing like the shy girl that was mikara, but for some reason he could see a faint trace of her surrounding this new form

Mika stood at the microphone and placed her hands upon it as she sang, her gentle voice floating out over the crowd as she gently swayed. Her honey brown hair framed her face gently, her bangs resting upon her forehead while some of the rest of her hair was pulled back, some falling down her back in gentle curls while sme fell over her shoulder. Her golden brown eyes glittered brightly as she looked down at the fans. Never did she think that she'd become this popular.

The girl was a little overwhelmed with everything, but she actually enjoyed it. She remembered one of the first things that her manager had done once she was signed on. The company said that she needed a new look so her manager took her out and she had gotten a complete make over. Her hair remained the same color but it was cut and styled. Her manager also had her makeup done, got her a new wardrobe and told her that unless she was at home, she was to wear contacts. It was hard for the girl to have almost all control over her life taken away from her.

She wasn't used to following others orders and it was causing her a great deal of stress. As she moved on the stage, her bare feet stepping lightly as she sang. Because of the feathers on her dress and her graceful movements, it almost seemed like she was floating as she danced a little. She was smiling and her eyes glittering happily.

slowly ryu began working his way through the crowd of fervent fans. making it to the front of the concert would be difficult, but with proper will power and energy he could find a spot near the front. he spent much of the first song just working and weaving his way through the crowd. occasionally he would bump into a fat man or strong guy who would knock him down. but he would only respond by working his way back to his feat again. he couldn't see very much because of the flashing lights, and he couldn't hear much over the wonderful sound of mika's angelic voice. occasionally he would catch a glimpse of the girl singing and dancing on the stage in her feathered garb, looking like something out of this world. but he needed to get to the front of the crowd, so he couldn't keep his attention focused on her stunning form for as long as he liked. he had a goal. a goal he needed at attain. otherwise it would haunt him forever. still occasionally he would sneak a glance at the vision of perfection dancing bare foot on the stage. finally after what seemed like an epic battle for him, he reach the railing that signified the front of the crowd area. there was a mass of bodies shoving in every direction, so keeping this front and center position would be hard. but he would do it.

but this position near to her also gave him something else. it let him see and hear like he had not gotten a chance to before. he saw every movement. every twirl. as if an army of balarinas were performing it in front of him. every twirl of his voice was solidified in his mind. he heard it as if it was being spoken right next to him. but he also noticed something else. the closer he got the more her similarities to his old friend mikara became apparent. he remembered the way she behaved herself, and while that was throughly writing over, ever movement, every not, was based in the old mikara. he knew he could be wrong. he knew he could be imagining it. he knew that he might make a fool of himself, but he knew what he had to do. this was his one shot.

as soon as her breathtaking first song came to a close, she paused to take her breath. as she did the crowd began to cheer. then they began to call her name out to the open. "mika. mika. mika" they shouted for the whole world to hear. but in the middle of one between the word mika and mika he decided it was time to get his message in. in every gap he would shot towards her "mikara" loud enough that he would hope she would hear. and while it was something that people hadn't been told about, it wasn't the biggest thing in the world. he didn't expect some sort of "oh no stop the concert reaction" out of her. but he hoped that she might point him out to take to the after-party, and from there maybe he could find out how his friend became in his mind the best singer in the whole wide world.

Mika looked out over the crowd as she sang her song. Though it was a soft ballad type of song, it carried tons of emotion as she sang and as she looked at her fans, she could even see some of them crying but smiling as she sang. She continued dancing and singing for the duration of the song. When it ended though, she stopped and smiled while breathing a little heavily while smiling out at every one. She lifted a hand and waved at them all while listening to them chant her name over and over again. However, between the chanting of 'Mika' she heard a name she hadn't heard since grade school and it was clear that she was surprised and she moved her gaze to the peple near the front of the stage.

The voice had been a mans and it was loud enough for her to hear fairly clearly so it had to be someone close to the stage and where she stood. Because of the lights in front of her, she had to squint slightly to see better and she scanned the faces slowly. After several minutes she turned as someone came out onto stange and she tipped her head as they whispered in her ear. She smiled at the man before whispering in his ear and pointing at the crowd. He looked down at the crowd and nodded before disappearing from the stage. After that the next song started up and she continued with the concert.

When the concert was over and people were beginning to leave, the very same man walked along the path behind the rail towards where Ryu was standing and he looked at him before holding out a back stage pass. "From Miss. Kaneko." he said, using Mika's last name instead of first. The man was most likely her manager or someone else important.

he didn't think she noticed. at least at first he didn't. she didn't seem to react much, to his words, so he was forced to assume that she was in fact not mikara kaneko. he was slightly disappointed, but then again he had expected this. it was just a dream to him. one that he didn't really think would be real. it was worth a shot, but nothing to get sad about if eh was wrong. he was still at a mika concert. and not only would he enjoy it. he would love every moment of it. she was the best signer in the world to him after all. her songs were like little verbal miracles flying through the air, and he melted into the crowd enjoying the great concert. it didn't go as he hoped. but he didn't mind to much.

as the concert finally started to end, he began to calm down and return to his seat. it had been a fun time. he had seen and heard her speak. all in all a good few hours. he even almost forgot about the name thing. she wasn't mikara. he was certain now. or at east he was until he saw a man standing nearby. he was holding a letter that he handed to him. at first he was confused by it. then he read the information on the front. it was from a miss kaneko. her last name. he was right it was her. and she had invited him backs stage! this was like a dream come true. he dropped his bagging in the seat. nothing of value there. he could get it later if he wanted.

he followed the man through the thinning crowd to the back of the stage. there are a crowd of set people, so he ahs to dodge his way through them to. it takes a bit before he sees a familiar face. it is what can be described as a mix of mika and mikara. her glasses back on, and wearing a knee length skirt and t-shirt with some running shoes. the glasses she used to wear are back on her face. as is her nervous expression, but behind that, he can see the beauty and grace of mika in her. he warmly says to her "hey mikara"

After her last song, Mika had gone back stage to her dressing room where she began changing. For the last couple of numbers in the concert, the songs had been upbeat, fast and a little more on the alternative rock side so she had been in a different costume. She slipped out of the tight white pants and top that she'd changed into some time in the middle of the concert and she began removing some of the makeup. The outfit could only be described as something akin to a ravers outfit. Once she had the dramatic makeup removed, she changed into a simple white skirt and a babydoll t-shirt with her new logo on it. She didn't bother changing her hair because she liked the hair accessories that the costume artists made.

She was standing near a mirror in the back stage area when the small group of people with backstage passes arrived. She was tightening the pigtails that some of her hair was in and she adjusted the teddy bear head band before looking at the group with a bright smile. She spent some time talking with the young girls about her music before her manager led them away and she sighed, watching them leave. She was shook from her thoughts when she heard someone speak and she turned to face Ryu.

"Hello." she said gently while gazing up at him, some of her bangs falling in her eyes. "You knw.... no one calls me that any more. I haven't been called that in years."

he smiled. he could see the similarities and differences between the two personalities instantly. the ways he said that had said in a subtle way of a shyness that she didn't show most people. and he had never seen a picture of her with glasses, so he wondered if this was something she also saved for herself. he sat down right next to where she was sitting and sayed in a confused tone. "so you are mika. huh. that was a guess on my part."

he couldn't bring himself to look to the side. here he was. right next to his favorite performer in the world. who he had just found out he had known for years. and what did he do? react in shock. it was time for something else. not for being a whimp. he had to learn about how in gods name this happened. it seemed unreal, like he ad accidentally got lost in a strange dream.

then eh turned back to his old friend and girl of his dreams. the glasses shining on her delicate face. he had to know what had happened. it seemed so strange to him. too strange for him to believe. "you have to tell me" he asked in a friendly caring tone. "how did you get here? last i recalled you were going to go off to college right? you always had better grades then me. how did you end up a full time singer?"

She nodded slightly while slowly sitting down on one of the couches that were provided for the performers and she curled her feet beneath her, grabbing a stuffed animal from next to her and sitting it in her lap, running her fingers over the ears of it. "Yes, I'm Mika." she said with a chuckle. The young woman looked up at some of the stage hands that were beginning to put things away. Luckily this was the end of her first tour so she could rest a while. As he sat next to her, she looked over at him as he spoke.

When he turned to her and asked how it happened, she grinned and shrugged slightly. "Well... I had gone to college and I was actually taking classes when this all happened. I worked part time in a book store and when I was stocking shelves I usually sing to myself. So one of the loyal customers called the record label who send out a scout and after hearing me sing, they signed me onto their label. Then, before too long.... here we are." She shrugged again and smiled before pushing her glasses up her nose.

Her glasses weren't the large thick kind like she used to wear. Now she wore smart, rectangle shaped plastic frames that looked perfect on her face, the dark green and gold of the glasses bringing out the color in her eyes.

he looked back at her. for some reason the sense of shyness and the awkwardness that she used to have, just came back. it was as if there were two of her. the awkward girl blessed with brains and talent. and the famous confident in control celebrity. had he had to admit. she was actually a bit cuter this way. she was always a good catch in high school, but now she had blossomed into a beautiful flower. the way her hair moved. the way her glasses shone on her face. it was like he could eat her. gently he moved a hand over to her shoulder and gave her a reassuring pat on the back. another stray thought swept into his head. she had been doing this for months. he didn't think she had any friends with her, and this was probably stressful for a newby.

he removed his hand and thought for a second. maybe it would be good to learn more about her. she looked like she needed a friend, and he was a nice enough guy. and besides she probably had inns on the inside that might help him get a series. it would be mutaualy beneficial. or at least those were the excuses he used when in reality he just wanted to be near her more. he reclined in his seat on the couch, and without even looking at her almost flawless face asked her "you know, i bet you haven't got many chances to get out. how about we go for some coffee. i know a place that is still open"

as he says this he once again leans forward in his seat and looks at her. she seemed almost distant from his perspective. he wondered how stardom was treating her. the mikara he knew had always been shy, so the thought of her as a national idol seemed downright strange. she might need a little convincing for the coffee thing he thought, so he stood up, and looked down on her, extended a welcoming arm to help her back up to her feet, as if she had already agreed to it.

She leaned back with a small smile while watching some of the men working in the back stage area, her fingers absently playing with the stuffed animal while she sat there. Her long hair was falling over her shoulders in gentle curls and waves. With a sigh, Mika leaned forward again and rested her head on the bears head. But when he reached out and placed his hand on her shoulder, she jumped before looking over at him as he patted her on the back, arching an eyebrow at him before smiling gently.

However, at the mention of coffee, she looked unsure. She didn't know if it was a good idea. Sure she might of known him in school, but with how everyone knew her now, she had a hard time going anywhere without fans or ever the press following her. And now that she was getting famous, all sorts of so called 'friends' and 'family' started appearing out of the wood work. It wasn't that she didn't trust him. She just didn't want rumors to start about them.

"I... I don't know." she said gently while tugging at the ear of her bear. As he stod up, she looked up at him while biting her bottom lip before slwly nodding. "Let... let me get my coat." she said after a bit, slowly standing up with his help.

he holds her soft hand gently for a second as he helps her to her feet. her face is laced with a look of worry, one that makes him slightly uncomfortable. as she starts to stand up properly, his hand removes it's grip from her. as pleasant as her soft hand was against his skin, the last thing he wanted was for it to overstay it's welcome. slowly it drops to the side as he smiles at her. "come on" he says smiling "let's get going." his car was still out front, so they could go in that. he didn't know if she had a car, but if she did the paparazzi would find them too easily. it must be hard for her living like this. stalked and watched like a hunted animal twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

he starts to move through the crowd of workers still cleaning up the place. the stage needs to be cleared, and the main stadium is filled with garbage. not a trace of envy radiates from him to the workers. he would rather hang out with mika any day then do his job. the sight of her shyer form, her glasses on her face and wearing the conservative outfit reminds him that this isn't mika he is with right now, it's mikara. and in his mind there was a bid difference between the two grew larger every second. where as mika was a powerful confident celebrity. mikara was a shy girl who was probably more then anything shell shocked by all of this.

the pair were soon at his car, as around them the parking lot slowly emptied. as they walked they weren't hassled by anyone nearby, who despite having seen her earlier, seemed to be throne off by her change in appearance. his hopes that she wouldn't be recognized soared. maybe no one would notice. she did seem to look different enough. but more then that, she gave off a different aura, one that would make people laugh it from their mind if even if they recognized her. soon they were at his car. it wasn't the most expensive car on the market, but it didn't what it was supposed to, and he couldn't ask for more. with a quick click the passenger side door opened for her, and he moved into the drivers seat. as he sat down he turned to her and asked "how long have you been on tour? has it been stressful?"

As she stands up, she notices how warm his hand is around hers and she gently smiles before he removed his hand from hers and her hand returns to her side while she gazes up at him. Once he let go, she brushed her bangs back from her face before nodding at what he said. Moving, she head over to her dressing room where she grabbed her coat and slipped it on before grabbing her purse. With her things, she turned and followed him through the back stage area. She waved to some of the stage crew that she knew better then the others. They all knew the two sides of her. There was the Mika from on stage then the Mika that they all knew from back stage. The one that was on stage was the professional that they all worked for while the one from backstage was like a little sister to the men.

Following Ryu closely, she stepped outside and followed him quickly to his car. As she walked with him, she was nervous that someone in the crowd would notice her and then everyone would rush at her, wanting to talk to her, shake her hand, get autographs. But as they moved through the large parking lot, no one seemed to notice her and she became a little hopeful that she would have a rather calm evening and she sighed gently with a small smile. She knew the next day she'd have her ear chewed off by her manager for just 'disappearing' and leaving her car behind without telling him but she figured that it would be worth it.

Upon arriving at his car, she heard it click open and she slowly slid into the passanger seat and closed it, looking out the window at the fans as they got into their cars and began leaving. She could see the happiness and excitement in their faces and it made her feel good that she was able to do that for them. When he got in, she turned to look at him before shrugging at his question. "A couple of months. It wasn't a big major tour. Just a small one to get things started." she said gently before laughing softly and nodding. "Yes, it's been very stressful. It's always practice, practice, practice and I'm always being bothered about public appearances. But now that the tour is over, I should have about a week or so to just relax before Jeff, that's my manager, starts calling about more things for me to do."

as she finished her answer, he moved his foot down to the petal, and began to drive off. based on the way she looked and acted, at list while she was her old self oozed of stress and frustration. he figured that she was feeling helpless in her new lifestyle. somehow that only made him more inclined to be helpful and nice to her. she needed friends. friends that her current position made it hard for her to have or keep. to him she also seemed to be really tired after the performance. her lovely voice had faint trace of hoarseness, which likewise didn't exactly shock him to core. he figured she was probably going through vocal and dance training, but he doubted that she had trained enough so as to be able to do a full concert without getting tired and needing a break. they turned over a small puddle, splashing it on to the street. luckily no one was there to get hit by the torrent of water, but his car rocked a bit as he made the turn.

he might need a new car soon. this one was getting old. still he got less money then he would like from his job at the sex toy store. he figured that if they were going to mess around with him by giving him a job like that, they might as well just give him more pay to do it. the factory had various equipment such as some bondage items, dildoes and other toys, and sexy clothes. he had never seen many in use, but they did intrigue him to some extant. in fact as he looked over at the stunning girl next to him, he couldn't stop but fantasize about her in something like that. trapped in a bondage suit consisting of arm binders, a gimp mask that only her soft her could go through, a leather corset, a pair of panties with dildoes end on both sides, and a pair of large thigh high boots with high heels on them. of course there would be a collar on with a leash that ran into his hand, allowing him to control her every move. make her walk back and forth so the dildoes could work her defenseless lower holes. then he shook his head. he had to snap out of it. she wouldn't be into that. and even if she was, she would never do something sexual with him. it was to be a dream. nothing more.

without skipping a beat, he noticed the building that housed the coffee place that he wanted to go to with her. from the look of the lights, it still appeared to be open and running, but then again, they might just be closing up. but he saw no harm in checking anyway, so he turned the car and drove into the parking lot for the building. to his luck he saw the welcoming open sign on the door. the rest of the way there they had been making small chit-chat, so they briefly stopped once they reached the place. he opened his door, walked out, and then went around to hers and opened it for her. "after you" he said chuckling. then he pulled her out of the car on to the sidewalk. "so" he asked "have you had much time to see friends during this? i'm sure you've been really busy"

As she sat there in the passanger side seat and just let the long day catch up to her, she began to feel the effects of her singing. Because she'd been singing every night for most of the week and for several weeks on end, it was all beginning to catch up. Her throat was beginning to ache and she knew that she'd probably be hoarse by the next morning. It was a good thing she didn't tell her manager that she was going for coffee or else he'd have a fit. He always told her to stick with tea with honey in it or even warm milk with honey. But after so long, she couldn't stand tea and honey milk any longer.

As Ryu drove, she noticed that he had become quiet and she arched an elegantly shaped eyebrow while watching him but she remained quiet as he seemed deep in thought. When he shook his head, she looked away so he wouldn't notice that she'd been watcing him. Upon arriving at the coffee place, she unbuckled her belt and she grabbed her purse from at her feet before glancing at the coffee shop. Once they were parked, she waited for him to help her out of the car.

Smiling up at him, she slowly slid out of the car, grasping his hand in hers and standing up. "Thank you." she said to him, shouldering her purse and she looked around. "No, not really. When traveling, there's not much time for anything. I've made a couple of friends with the road crew but it's not the same as having actual friends that you can tell everything to." She shrugged slightly and looked at him. "So, is the coffee here any good? I haven't had a good cup of coffee in months."

ever the gentleman he walked in front of her and opened the door to the building to her. as he did he laughed to her "well yeah. this is the best place i go to. i'm all about writing nowadays, so what would my life be like if i didn't know all of the best coffee places?" then he followed through the door after her. his hands dropping to the sides as he got a good view of her shapely ass. which was something that it took every shred of willpower in her body to not to look at. yet somehow even despite all of that somehow his eyes still wandered down to give it a peek here and there. not that he would admit that, even to himself.

the place was well designed. it had a modern look with lots of strange angles in the design. the tables were set up to look futuristic, and as per expected the clean tables were filled with only a few customers. as a result as soon as they were inside a waitress decked in a white dress based off of 50's style scifi flciks came over with menus and asked "hello there what can i get you today?" as she asked it, the waitress directed them to small table with two seats.

as they sat down he turned to the waitress and told her kindly "i'll have a black with plenty of cream and sugar on the side/" then he turned over to mikara, and looked at her for a second before deciding "and she would like a vanilla latte". having ordered he handed back the menus, and looked at her waiting for her reaction. he was glad that she was still in her shyer mode, and wondered if the bespectacled cutie would be to angry at him about that

(hey quick thing. how soon do you want to get to the sex scene? are you okay with taking your time or are you getting a bit impatient?)

(No, I'm not getting impatient. Take your time. ^.^ )

When he moved in front of her, she smiled as he opened the door and she entered the room, smiling when she smelled the coffee. "So you're a writer huh? What do you write?" she asked while looking back at him from over her shoulder before looking forward. She didn't notice that he was looking at her pert firm ass. Even though she'd always been something of a bookworm, she had always had a body that attracted attention though she usually covered it up. Looking around the coffee shop, she arched an eyebrow while looking at everything around them out of curiosity while smiling.

Following the waitress, she moved over to a table, she sat down and she looked at the menu that they'd been given. She was about to order when he ordered for her and she arched an eyebrow before speaking up. "Make that a chocolate latte." she said to the woman before looking at Ryu again. "I don't like vanilla lattes." she told him while slipping out of her coat. "They make me ill." She wasn't angry that he ordered for her, though she would of liked it if he had asked her first before just going ahead and doing it.

"So, what do you do for a job?" she asked gently while folding her hands on the table and watching him curiously. "You know all about what I've been doing. Now I'd like to know abut some of what yu've been up to."

he smiles warmly at her across the table. he had messed up a bit with the order, but she didn't seem to mind more then a nervous blush that graced her cheeks. it looked good on her. for some reason he liked looking at her when she was in her nervous mikara mode more then when she was being mika. maybe it was just how uncomfortable and needy she was. he figured it tapped into his internal desire to end up with some one who depended on him but he wasn't sure. the waitress didn't seem to mind to much in fact, she seemed to find it kind of funny. soon she was back with the choclate latte and the black coffee

meanwhile ryu was still talking with his former friend and favorite singer. "i'm currently trying to break into manga, it isn't going as well as it should, so I've been forced to take a number of odd jobs. but i'm hoping to break in soon. and besides you got a job in the entertainment industry, now i;m only more motivated to get a better one." he laughed.

then he reached down to his coffee and did some work with the cream and sugar till he has the taste to his liking. he hopes she is enjoying her drink as well. she looks like she hasn't had a good cup in years. this little ecscursion must be the highlight of her month. "i have a question for you" he says curiously "most entertainers can't keep up thier popularity forever. what do you plan to do when people start forgetting about you?"

(okay, but start hinting to her being a sub and wanting to end her career more)

(I thought that we were going to have her continue her career and he just helps her relieve the stress of her singing career?)

Mika folded her hands on the table in front of her as she sat there. She looked so demure and timid sitting there with a small smile on her face while she gazed up at him frm beneath her bangs. Even though she was a little on the nerdy side, she was still beautiful and graceful. It had been so long since she'd had anyone try to take care of her in a way that she would like. Lately it's been people trying to keep her happy so she'd perform and to try and get onto her good side. When her chocolate latte came with his coffee, she picked her drink up and took a long sip. As she savored the taste, she closed her eyes and smiled as she set the cup back down.

"Manga?" she echoed before smiling gently. "That's interesting. So, while you work on that, what kind of odd jobs do you do?" she asked curiously as she looked over at him. As he spoke about her being in the entertainment industry making him even more motivated, she laughed with him and shook her head with a small smile.

Picking up her drink again, she took another sip of it and savored the chocolatey taste again with a happy sigh. His question abut what she planned to do when people started forgetting her made her arch an eyebrow over the edge of her cup before slowly setting her cup down. "Ryu... I just started my career as a singer. Sure, I don't know how long I'll be famous and I'm not really worried about it. Besides, I still have my contract with the record company. I have another year with them before I can think of anything else. But in the chance that my entertainment career ends prematurely, my old job at the book shop is still available. My old boss told me I could come back at any time I wanted. And if I don't want to work there, I could look for something else."

he smiled back, not expecting the strong reaction. despite all of her shyness and vulnerability, there is a real fire to her. the issue is that she just never seems to be able to bring it out to light. maybe that is how she has thrived so well in the entertainment industry. while she was always a nice person, he never thought he would be so fascinated in anybody, much less her.

he looked down as his coffee, it was beginning to wear thin. naturally he didn't reply to her comment about what kind of jobs. it was fairly embarrassing, and he didn't want her to know about the whole fetish sex toy factory. silently he cursed the relatively high pay that he got for doing such embarrassing work. her coffee likewise begins to run out, so instead of answering that, he instead asks her "hey do you want another coffee?"

meanwhile he turns up to the relatively friendly waitress who was still there. all of the other staff embers seemed to have left, so he was glad that she was still there at least. "can you get the check please" he said smiling. then he turned to mikara again and said "and do you want another chocolate latte?"

after she answered, he stood up, and went over to wear she was sitting. he grabbed the coat from her chair, and put it on her, once again pleased to feel her brilliant shoulders, even if it is through her hsirt, and only for a second. "where do you want to go" he asks "my place is open if you want..." he doesn't know why he said it, the urge just came to him, but once it was said, he didn't retract it

As she waited for his reply to her question, Mika looked back down at her coffee and took another drink of it, swirling it a little while watching the foam on top dissolve a little more before setting it down. When he didn't reply to her question, she looked up at him with an arched eyebrow, her head tilting a little as she gazed over at him with a curious look in her eyes. She wondered why he wouldn't tell her about what he did for a job. But her curiosity was pushed aside at the offer of more coffee and she smiled again with a chuckle.

She hadn't realized she'd gone through her coffee so quickly. "Yeah. I'd like another latte. To go if it's alright." she said as he stood up. She reached down and picked up her purse, setting it in her lap before finishing the coffee in her cup with a happy sigh before setting it down again. Mika was about to grab her coat when he grabbed it and helped her put it on, smiling up at him. "Thanks." she said as his hands rested upon her shoulders.

Even though Mika was an independant woman, she did occasionally like depending on others for things and letting them be in control. At the offer t go to his place came out, she turned to look at him more with a small smile on her lips before nodding slightly. "I think I'd like that." she said gently. "At least my manager won't be able to find me there." she said with a chuckle while brushing her bangs from her face again.

finally he payed for the last coffee to go, and handed the chocolate latte over to mikara. normally he wasn't a fan of people drinking in his car, but this one time, he decided it was okay. besides he was to overjoyed about this. his favorite singer was going over to his place with him. how many guys had this happen to them? this was the kind of things men had hot dreams about. and not only that, but the singer he was going home with, seemed totally relaxed and comfortable in his presence. his hand went over to his skin and gave himself a brief pinch. no apparently he was not dreaming.

finally the pair left the coffee shop and headed to his car. the word excited didn't quite describe the joy he was feeling. that is until he got in the car and started driving. then it hit him. what if she didn't like his place? what if she thought it was weird. on the outside he acted normal. chatting with her about old friends, but on the inside he was cringing with terror.

finally after a short drive they were at his apartment. his heart was beating like a hammer against an anvil. then finally, he opened his door. on the exterior he was still calm, wondering what she was thinking about. she had agreed to go with him, was she as interested in him as he was in her. he hoped so. they kept talking about times past as they walked up the stares until they finally reached the top. he fumbled at his keys hoping his apartment was clean. when the door opened, he found to his horror, that a box he had agreed to take home from work had tipped over. and peeking outside were it's contents. in the view of the girl of his dreams were some fuzzy hand cuffs, and a variety of dildoes. one bondage rope was there a well. this couldn't be worse

With a smile, she took the chocolate latte from him and thanked him while taking a drink. One of her favorite things about coffees other then the taste of it was how it warmed her hands up. Normally her small hands were relatively cold so she enjoyed having a hot drink in her hands. Turning, she followed him back out to his car, being careful not to spill it.

Mika was a little nervous to be going to a guys house, even though he was an old friend, because she'd never done that before. Sure she'd dated a couple of times but she never went to the mans house or apartment before. As he drove her to his home, she chatted with him about friends and school, a small smile on her lips the entire time as she drank her coffee. By the time they got to his apartment, most of her drink was gone.

Once the car was parked, she slipped out of the car before closing the door behind her. As she followed him up the steps, she continued talking about the past but she was also thinking about him. Mika found him to be very attractive, but she was too shy to tell him that. Infact, she'd been attracted to him even way back in high school. While he unlocked his apartment door, she wondered if he liked her too in the way she liked him or if it was just because she was famous now. She gazed down at her coffee before looking up as he opened the door. When she saw the box of toys sitting on the floor, her face flushed red and she gasped softly before quickly looking away.

Whether the color in her face was from embarrassment or excitement, it was impossible to see the difference. She had seen items like that before in catalogs that her girlfriends had shown her before, but she'd always been way to shy and embarrassed to even think about getting things like that. The most that she'd ever bought was a simple little vibrator which she kept hidden in her suitcase.

the moment he saw the boxes lying on the floor for her to see, his mind went into defcon1 panic mode. it almost went blank with panic as his body jerked forward and moved the box away setting it upright and in the closet that it had fallen out of. he slid the door closed, letting finally bringing it out of his view. a massive, shameful, blush covered the entirety of his face. how had this happened? was karma mocking him? he didn't deserve luck that horrifyingly bad. no one ever did.

slowly he turned around to mikara, with a shamed look on his face. he slowly walked back to her and tried to speak for a second before finding out that nothing would come out. he tried to explain. her really did. it was like something was holding his tongue. he silently cursed his job for shooting down any chances he had with her.

finally he found a way to speak. he figured that things would be best if he just tried telling the truth. the first words came out as stutters. finally after a few seconds he finally explained, "well" every word out of his mouth came out slwoly and hesitantly "i, sort of work at a sex toy factory because of the high pay. they had an overstock so they asked some of the employees to take stuff home". his eyes drifted from the room, finding a pair of fluffy pink handcuffs lying on the ground still.

still a thought crept into his head. maybe this wasn't so bad. what if she reacted to this positivity? that could be what he needed to make this less platonic. maybe it would make her want it. he hoped it did. because otherwise the night would be over before it could ever really begin. and he would just have to think about missed opertunity whenever he heard a song by her on the radio

(just reminding you, her agreeing should be less curiousity, more need to release tension)
