Sojiro Akashibi was a man who saw life through a glass half-full, and had little to no intention of finding a reason to see the 'bright side' of life. Since his youngest days he was groomed to become the successor of a highly profitable, multi-billion dollar technologies firm that his father built from the ground up simply called U.I.S. Whether it was private tutors with the brightest minds, instructors on some of the most well known artistic recreations, and even physical sensei's from prestigous dojos...there was no expense that was too high to build a proper young man. However, while he took to his expected role with care...there was little in his life he could appreciate or enjoy thanks to the high standards being Rokubei Akashibi's son placed upon him. If one were to ask what he loved most about his child hood he would simply respond, "I don't remember having one..."

This background caused a rift between father and son; the distance growing further and further apart as Sojiro grew older. Currently he was enjoying his twentieth birthday in the company of some classical music, a drink of his preference, and reviewing the contract order for the bride he had picked out from some site. Despite being groomed to be the perfect heir, there seemed to be stipulations that Rokubei placed on his son's inheritence due to their troubled relationship, and one of them involved being married by the time he was twenty-five. One would consider this something not to worry about given the five-year time span; however, despite his...apathetic views toward life, Sojiro strived for perfection in all things in a calm, calculating manner. Whether he knew it or not, he was developing the traits necessary to take over the true nature of the business...a nature he was not yet informed about.

That was neither here nor there. Currently he was awaiting the bride with the understanding she would be arriving at this date, and from the comforts of his italian, leather couch he stared at the door with a bored expression. Beautiful by some standards, handsome by others...he was defined by a striking regal, almost authorative appearance. Sojiro knew he was visually pleasing, but he knew his personality could bring conflict...though it didn't matter to him. He wasn't expecting love...

Even so, he never knew he'd find it in the hands of a woman seeking to take his life...

Pushing her hand through her red hair, she glanced around from the air port and headed into the air conditoned building. She felt naked without the wires or without her boss speaking in her ear constantly but with this job she needed to make herself look like just another woman. Wearing a like blue blouse and black pants she headed over towards the luggage carrier to pick up her bags. Ivory skin glowed with a thin sheen of sweat from the outside heat whenever the doors opened, and a few times she had to shift and move out of the way when someone pushe to hard against her.

Frowning a little bit her heels clicked on the floor but she eventually saw her navy blue bags and pushed forward to grab it. She packed light for this, after all she was supposed to be marrying this guy, she couldn't be bringing to much from her home. Setting her bag down on it's wheels she pulled the handle up and headed out to catch her cab that was already waiting for her outside.

It took a half an hour drive from the air port but finally, the car pulled over onto the side of the street and the man glanced back at her. Pulling out some money she paid the cab driver it and taking a deep breath she pulled herself from the car and got her bag out as well. People in this city were not as friendly as some would think. Standing on the side walk she watched the cab driver speed away to go do something else before looking up at the huge house ahead of her. Sighing she grabbed her bag and climbed the steps to the door, her hand reaching up to knock on it.

(I hope that's good enough)
