Cameron sighed contently--warm fingers intertwined with another's....bodies pressed firmly together underneath silken covers. For once...she was lying right beside him. For once they had actually managed to sleep through the night curled up with one another. Was this a sign of her...maturity blooming? Probably not. She just probably wanted something more of him...like money...or some extravagant trip out of the kingdom... God she was so needy at times. Almost like a spoiled brat whose never heard the word no before. The thought was sickening to him. With a soft groan, he shifted in the bed, contemplating on whether he should get up or not. He was enjoying the warmth they were sharing quite a bit, after all.

Hazy blue orbs flutter open slowly, staring at the back of blonde locks. The sun was painfully bright however, causing the king to shut his eyes hastily, snuggling his head under the blankets. Not surprisingly to the male such trauma to the eyes sparked up a serious headache. Oh, how lovely. He did drink very heavily the night before so it was to be expected to have a hangover the next morning. He couldn’t remember a thing from the night before. All the events after dinner weren’t there. “Why I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a dead concubine in my bed…” he murmured quietly. Obviously still doubting the fact that Milly had actually come to bed with him—especially since he was so pissy drunk the night before. With a quiet sigh, the king withdrew his hand from the other’s, bringing it up so that it was now upon the blonde’s face. Hangover or not, he was going to make the best of his morning… And why not start off with a kiss to the woman he adored?

Cupping the blonde’s chin Cameron went to sit up on the bed, pulling, slowly, his arm from beneath their form. He hadn’t taken note on the form of the person lying in his bed… He was too tired and too fucked up to realize that she was lighter than usual, and taller than she should have been. Not to mention her curves had disappeared into thin air. The king hovered over the sleeping other in a sitting up position, blue eyes focused on the other before him. Cameron began leaning over, messy blond locks falling over his eyes as he turned the other’s face up. While he felt something unusual was about to occur, the king pressed their lips together, in hopes that she wouldn’t wake up in a horrid mood… Or that there wouldn't be a dead hooker he would have to dispose of…. Or that she would wake up wanting to quickly leave his presence.

Or that she wouldn't wake up at all. . .

After such a wonderful night, it wasn’t a wonder that Hayden was out cold. What he could remember was pure bliss, but what his conscious told him was contradictory. In the prince’s dreams, he could still feel his brother’s hands upon his flesh, playing with him and soothing him like the lovers they never were. But upon the morning’s shine, the dreams still desperately clung to him as he to them. Even as he felt the warm body wrapped around him move, he didn’t want to submit to the waking world just yet.

Sadly, it wasn’t his discussion to make. Light slipped through the cracks of the door like a love note, illuminating the room where the closed windows would not allow. Even more persistent were the lips that pressed to his, making him shiver and eyelashes to flutter like a trapped bird. “Mm…” almost sparkling blue orbs were revealed as he decided to finally open his eyes and take in the gaze of the King. Majestic and grand he was, despite the dishevel image he had from a night clearly riddled with too much liquid courage in his system.

Did Hayden regret the previous night? Did guilt burn through his very veins?

Perhaps.

But there were more important things. Like the fact that for once, Cameron was in his bed – ok, so not exactly his, but they were in the same bed – and his brother had directed that untarnished attention back to where it belonged. Briefly, he wondered how the Queen had fared for the night, but all he could really think of it was that he hoped the bitch got what she deserved. “Are you feeling better, Cammy?” Hayden asked softly, his lips just brushing his brother’s now. There was a pink tint to his cheeks that had nothing to do with the warmth of the night along with the happy smile that stretched the luscious lips. Lips that would gladly stretch for a different reason, if the King so allowed him to tend to the problem that every male had in the morning.

Cameron’s blue orbs widened with surprise at the sudden realization of who he had just kissed. Oh shit. This couldn’t be happening. In his mind he was laughing with pure astonishment at the situation he had found himself in. He had hoped not to find a dead whore in his bed…and now he wished there were ten dead whores in his bed to make up for such immorality. He would have rather murdered someone in his previous drunken state then to have boned his little brother. However, this could all just be some misunderstanding. And with that thought in mind, he tried his hardest to keep his expression at the moment neutral.

And failed terribly.

The king shuddered when Hayden’s lips brushed against his, a strange feeling of arousal coursing through his entire frame. Cameron forced out a small smile riddled with nervousness and uncertainty as he prepared to answer Hayden’s question. In truth, he’d rather still be depressed over his wife’s lack of affection for him, than questioning his night spent alone with the young prince. “In spite of this headache and my minor amnesia… I’m feeling okay I suppose.” He said as he ran both his hands through his golden hair slicking back messy blonde locks.

The king did remember being pretty beaten up about Milly the night before. It shouldn’t be so strange that Hayden came to comfort him in his time of need. That’s what brothers did for one another. But what was weird was the way his body was acting toward the young prince. There was no seduction in Hayden’s movements, and yet his usual morning erection throbbed with such excitement as he sat next to the other. “Are you feeling… okay?” he questions a slight pause in his sentence as he neared the questionable status of the other. Reaching out, he cupped Hayden’s cheek into the palm of his hand. “I didn’t… do anything stupid last night—and hurt you did I?” he questioned sincerely. It was clear with the question in hand, that his lack of memories were making him paranoid.
