Salis walked through the autumn trees; the foliage camoflauging her appearence nearly perfectly.

She was an elf. No need to beat around the bushes or hide her lineage....Salis was an elf in this time and day. However, it wasn't that unusual. There are usually a few just around the corner. But none were as open as she was.

Under the cover of a muffler and a warm, snuggly hat, Salis converesed and mingled with those humans that had first destroyed their world. She had even made a few friends against the wishes of her elders... They and their wispy white beards can rot in the boring hellhole of a place that they call safe.

Just a bland forest that she had seen several times before... Where the trees are just the same, as well as the robins flew predictably.

She found herself wishing some excitement happened to escape the monotomy of her life.

Haruki was an unusual human, so at least Salis didn't have to feel like she was the only odd one out around this part of the world. The unusual-ness coming in the form of his long turquoise locks, the back half pulled and tied back into a ponytail that bounced slightly with his cheerful steps through the woods that was close to his home.

This was the place he often visited to get away from his city life. Not that he minded that life, but he did have friends among the trees, one whom he was quite fond of. Namely, the elf Salis. Unlike some other elves who were cool towards him...if not bitter, Salis was like him, being rather outgoing.

Clad in a nice warm set of cotton clothes.....grey pants and red sweatshirt, the grey of said pants and bold blue of his ponytailed hair were probably enough to make him stand out from the autumn colors that surround him.

He reached the tree where he and Salis always met at....a tall maple with the boldest of reds for its foliage during this time of year. Aqua-blue eyes shifting left to right, he leans into the trunk and smiles. "Well I hope she's okay and comes soon."

"Boo!"

Salis knew that this was rather childish...however she couldn't help herself. Haruki looked so vulnerable standing there under the tree.

She had used the foliage to sneak up on the eccentric human she was quite fond of. Well, Salis was a very eccentric elf as well; so, things worked out. Her silver eyes gleamed at the slightest shift of light as she creeped closer.... closer...

and closer... step by step....

Haruki blinked and turned his head to look over his shoulder, feeling that someone was sneaking up on him. "Alright Salis....you silly little elf, where are you?" he said, then turning his body all the way around to face the direction he felt someone near.

He stood there and waited to see if Salis would appear at all. He was quite anxious to pounce.

"Alright Salis... You sly little elf, Where are you?"

The said elf instantly froze up; So Haruki had honed his senses better than the rest of the ignorant humans. It'd be troublesome, and not to mention humiliating, for her to be discovered.

Salis traveled with more caution now... careful to step in the bare spaces between the dead leaves. A slight crunch could alert her human friend instantly, and she definately did not want that to happen.

He was there, just 10 feet ahead. She had made it this far without making a majore mistake. A feeling of euphoria swept through her being... and perhaps did more harm than good.

In her giddiness, she had failed to realize that her skirt had been caught on a low tree brach. A ripping sound resounded through the forest.

"Eep!" Salis squeeked, gasped, and put her hands over her mouth. She felt herself losing balance... was it just her? or was the ground usually so near to her head...

Haruki laughed softly and stepped closer, trying to find his elven friend when he suddenly heard that 'Eep". Worried, he rushed forwards and spots Salis nearly heading for the ground. He dives and catches her, only to knock her back while his arms went flying to wrap around her and cushion her fall.

"Are you alright, my elf?" he asked, a slight worry to him.

"Ah, I'm alright... Though Haruki..." Salis blushed and looked down. Haruki arms were wrapped around her chest in a rather provocative manner. His arms were rubbing against her breasts.

"Though Haruki... Your arms are..." She left off on a vague manner, too embarassed to say anymore. Flushed, she looked the other way.
