"I'm a new recruit for the BSAA (Bioterrism Securty Assessment Alliance). For the past two years since I was seventeen, I've been training to fight off these creatures reported from the Raccoon City incident and the Kennedy Reports. Putting my life on the line by facing the real things and risking infection and death all at once during my training. Now my first actual mission outside of a VR (Virtual Reality) mission is taking place is a quiet town in Africa. My partner and I are looking for a smuggler who might be holding a virus that could start a bioterrorism war. Our chopper's arriving at the Landing Zone soon. If anyone is to find this journal, burn it if I'm dead."

Nathan looked up from his journal after writing in it and awaited for landing. He looked at his partner. A girl whom he'd just met but she was his superior.

Nathan- Hey...uh...I never caught your name.

Jayden had served in the BSAA (Bioterrism Security Assessment Alliance) for more than five years. She was now twenty-three, and had started when she was seventeen, but being from a well off family, she was able to further her training and studies and advanced quickly through the ranks. She earned her spot through hard work, not her family's money, and she would have been pissed if that was the reason she earned such a spot. She sat in the helicopter as they neared the landing zone. She glanced at the new recruit appearing around her age, if not a year or so older, when she first started.

"Jayden," she spoke as she checked the 92FS Berretta in her hand. She pulled out the magazine, checked it, and placed it back into the gun. She slid it to her side pocket as she stared out into the barren worrld.

"What made you decide to join the BSAA Nathan? You have a lot more potential to be something else rather than join the army. Did the umbrella corporation do something to your family or is it just to join something?" she questioned, quirking an eyebrow at the young boy.

Nathan thought about the question. He never really had anything happen to his family. In fact, he had a happy life but it was boring. He looked out the window seeing the wastelands below before looking back at her to answer her question.

Nathan- Well, I get bored easily. My life has been boring since day one. Nothing went on all that much. Joining the BSAA might give me some thrills in my life. Don't expect me to sit around too long for a strategy or whatever. I'm told the main flaw of my way of doing things is that I have no patience.

"They might have a reason why as to tell you that Nate," Jayden spoke. She was stuck with a rookie who took life not serious enough, and this mission seemed to be nothing to him. She shook her head. The plane landed not long after and she jumped out of the chopper.

"Alright Nathan, this is your first big mission and this isn't going to be my last. You do as I say when I say and how I say understood?" she spoke, the authority ringing in her voice. The last mission she had she nearly died. Her partner seemed to care little to nothing about hiding in cover, and blew it. The smugglers nearly decapitated her and her partner had reinforcements hadn't arrived to put them down.

Nathan grumbled and looked away.

Nathan- Yeah yeah whatever you say. So then, where are we off to know? To meet the contact at the butcher shop?

He was spinning his berretta around his finger but he had the clip out so no accidental shots would be made.

Jayden rolled her eyes at the new recruit. Already the first mission and she felt like she was shot in the ass by the company. Why do they recruit them so young now adays? A sigh left her lips as she glanced towards Nathan and shook her head in agreement. The butcher shop was where they were to meet their contact. He would fill them in on their mission and supply them with new weapons and some extra ammunition. She placed her berretta at the holster located at her hip and pulled the Mossberg shotgun over her shoulders.

"Yeah, his name is apparently Rajhad," she spoke, glancing at the papers in her hands as she ran over the details from her current mission.

Nathan- Rajhad huh? Cmon, if he's a butcher I could go for a good steak right about now.

He began to walk into town, feeling eyes from the unknown on him. He approached a gate where a guard stopped him and asked for ID.

Nathan- Uh...hey Jayden...got the right ID? I kinda left everything in the chopper...

Jayden groaned as she slapped her hand to her forehead. Of all the things to be in, she was in this predicament with Nathan. She sighed, spoke to the man and showed him her identification card. She spoke the mans native language and pointed to Nathan, telling him that he was with her. The man semi-glared at Nathan before stepping aside and allowed them passage. She walked passed the man and motioned for him to follow her inside.

"You have got to learn that being unprepared will result in an early termination for you, and I don't mean leaving the company," she stated as they walked, earning the stares and glares of the "friendly" locals.

As they walked, Nathan saw a group pounding and kicking a bag that was moving around. He ran over to them.

Nathan- What the hell are you doing!? Stop!

He began to open the bag and a dead pig was inside.

Nathan- Gross...its all rotting...and boney....

(Seriously, when I saw this I was like "wtf". I ran over to them but they just stared at me like I was stupid and the bag stopped moving haha)

Jayden crunched her nose as Nathan opened the bag and exposed the dead pig. Half of her wanted to vomit, and the other half wanted to laugh at his stupidity. Either way, she stayed on her course as they approached the butcher. When she turned around, the whole place was deserted. It looked like they just vanished and it left her clueless.

"o...kay," she started as they made their way to the butchers.

(I know I did the same thing)

Nathan- Jeez, that pig scent must've been worse than I thought.

He entered the butcher's shop and sat down in a chair.

Nathan- Hey Rasheed or whatever your name was, can I get a nice piece of steak? I'm hungry as hell over here.

A butcher's knife flew by and landed next to Nathan's head in the wall. He turned white and saw the butcher.

Rajhed- Thats Rajhed you son of a- Oh hello there Jayden...I was told you'd be coming. Come on, back here.

HE went into the back room.

Jayden chuckled as she watched the knife fly by Nathans head. She turned to Rajhad and nodded.

"Always a pleaure seeing you as well. How have you been Rajhad?" she inquired as she followed him to the back. He was to update them on their mission and also supply them with more weapons. Although the only weapons she wanted and needed were her shotgun and her berretta. They always came in handy, and in some instances, she'd use a sniper rifle. They were easier to handle and it came in handy for long distant shots.

((Sorry, lost the link to this roleplay and then forgot about it...haha..but yeah sorry hadn't replied in awhile))

(Its fine, just glad you didn't quit without telling me :) )

Rajhad- Ah my friend. I have been...not so well. The townspeople are a bit...how you say, "freakier" than usual...they seem to just glare at others that seem like the normal everyday citizens that used to be here...but eventually they become "freakier" as well. Tread carefully my friend...is your so called "partner" coming or not?

He peered out to see Nathan still a bit stunned seeing the knife in the wall next to his head.

Rajhad- He must be new to just be that scared...

Jayden nodded as she turned to Nathan. She sighed, walking over to the male and dragging him along with her. Although, Rajhad's comment did concern her. If they had been acting strange, could the rumors be true about the uroboros virus? Nah, it wasn't possible and the Umbrella corporation had been taken down a while back.

"Yeah, he's coming Rajhad. Anyways, what can you tell me of our mission?" she asked, leaning in the door frame a bit to give her some support. She wanted to know the details so that she could formulate a plan that would involve as less casualties as possible.

Nathan followed Jayden as she pulled him along, he didn't fight her as she did so. Rajhad just shook his head and looked out the window before opening two briefcases full of weapons. Nathan's eyes lit up and he jumped over to the wide variety, his eyes beaming. Rajhad ignored this and spoke with Jayden.

Rajhad- Your first orders are to find Delta team. We lost contact with them earlier and have yet to make any contact with them whatsoever...they're last whereabouts were somewhere further in town as they were escorting that smuggler...what was his name again?

Jayden rolled her eyes at Nathan once again before turning her attention towards Rajhad. Irvine was the name of the smuggler they had been escorting, or at least Delta team was. He was captured intentionally, or maybe just a fluke. Jayden didn't know for sure but she hoped she wouldn't have to find out.

"Irvine was his name," she answered to Rajhad, checking the weapons before setting some in the holsters at her thighs. "And you'd better be ready for a show down Nathan. I don't want to have to save you everytime we turn a corner," she glared at the boy before thanking Rajhad.

Rajhad- Yes yes...you'd do best to listen to this girl. If you make her sad...I'll be waiting for you to sleep so I can end you myself.

Nathan ignored Rajhad as he pocketed a Skorpion machine gun and holstered a stun rod.

Nathan- I'm all set. Lets go. Try not to slow me down alright Jayden?

He laughed and walked out the backdoor and began to walk down the dirt path.

Rajhad- Go. Don't let him do something to get himself killed. I'll be fine here and update HQ.

Jayden nodded her head and then sighed. She knew it was a bad idea to begin with when HQ partnered her with a rookie. Sure, she had the right to deny the case, but her sense of obligation to the corporation just told her differently. She holstered her berretta and followed after Jayden after hearing Rajhad would be alright. Something didn't feel right though. His words seemed hollow and empty, but she ignored it.

"Alright Nathan, if you get shot, be expected to be left behind. Carelessness always gets you killed. That's how George died. He was careless and inefficent at what we do," she stated, remembering the young man who died by stepping on one of the land mines in Honduras. It was a messy site to clean up and they never did find his head.

Nathan- George? Who's he? Some punk ass rookie? Look whatever the records say, I'm more than just a mere rookie. Spent everyday with guns of all kinds at a gun range since I was 14. Don't ask me where I found a gun range that allowed people that young because it was out in the deep jungle.

Most of this was nothing but a lie to show off to his superior because there were no records of this that could deny or approve of this.

Nathan- I can hit anything a mile away with nothing but my berretta.

Jayden just shook her head. He has spunk she'll give him that much, but that only leads to getting people killed or sometimes captured. She didn't want to become some random person's prisoner, and she would rather die than be put into a jail cell. However, maye it'd be alittle different with this one. Something about him just shines potential, but it might be short lived.

"Whatever you say high horse," she sputtered as they walked down another dirt road that rounded of towards a house. Even for being near a butcher shop, this place smelled far worse and dead animals littered the ground. Or at least goats did.

Nathan held his nose as he looked around. No sign of the locals. He peered into a window and his eyes went wide as he fell to the ground and began to gag as if he might throw up. The smell and the sight before him was horrible. Inside were many hanging bodies of animals, as if it were a meat locker. Though, the corpses were all rotting, the tools rusty and bloody, the tables just as the tools, and blood stains all over the ground with chunks of meat off of a corpse on the table.

Nathan- What the hell did they do to that goat...!?

Jayden quirked an eyebrow as she watched Nathan. She wanted to laugh when he spotted the goat and the way he reacted to it, but being who she was, she didn't. She merely tucked the boy behind her and pushed the door open. Not bothering to knock as it was clear there was noone home. She inspected the home before motioning Nathan to follow her.

"Get a strong stomach boy, or else you might loose your lunch in just a few seconds," she stated, referring to the dead mangled goats. One had been hanging in front of her, it's stomach carved open as some satanists would do to offer the sacrifice to their dark lord. She'd only seen it happen once, and she regretted it.

"Whats that noise?" she stated as she glanced down. "Huh, wonder where this leads," she muttered to herself, lowering into the open cellar.

Nathan gulped as he knew he had to follow her. He took a deep breath, using his shirt as a filter for more...clean air. He followed her in and looked at the decaying corpses. The sight was alright but paired up with the smell, he'd most likely have died right there or at least KOed if it weren't for his pride. He followed her into the cellar.

Nathan- Aye...You lead...I really...really don't think I can take point now...

Jayden would have loved to have a camera right now. She could snap a photo of the one she was paired with, send it back to HQ, and hopefully have a replacement sent. But fate was cruel and thus did not provide one for her. She just shook her head for the umpteenth time and climbed the ladder out of the cellar. She pulled out her berretta and held it down to her sides. She surveyed the area and motioned Nathan to follow her.

"Come on Nathan, I can hear some noises up ahead," she stated as they were lead down yet another alley.

Nathan limped behind her as one hand lay on his churning stomach and the other was over his mouth and nose so he wouldn't vomit or smell the horrible stench in the air. Soon they were out of that death house and into fresher air where Nathan began to breathe heavily to get it in.

Nathan- Woo...glad we're out of...do you hear...chanting??
