A man will go so far to keep his significant other out of the arms of another man if they suspect that person of being unfaithful, out of hatred, jealousy. Everything comes into play then, anger shown to both parties. Even if the suspicion is simply that; suspicion. The male must, and will always, show his dominance in over what he believes is his if he feels threatened.

The Sinclairs.

Rich, happy middle-aged couple. Middle-aged meaning that the male is almost forty and the female is nearing her thirties. Gold digging? No, no. Richard simply loved the younger girls. Check his criminal record. Few accounts of statutory rape, all innocent on all counts, when he was eighteen to twenty-two. Richard Sinclair owned several businesses over-seas, hired and transported Americans to work in these shops before simply hiring the locals. Saved him money in the end. He was a rich bastard, of course he had fancy stuff. Cars, houses, even a helicopter. The only thing he really, really loved was his thirty-five foot yacht. Richard loved being on the sea in his yacht, with or without his lovely wife, Jennifer.

Of course, there was always a thorn to his rose. Marcus Fields. He was that thorn, ex-military grunt. Handyman for Richard, had been since he left the service. His tools of the trade were irreplaceable, that is why Richard kept him around. Repairman, mechanic, electrician. Marcus did it all, from cars to boats to helicopters. T.Vs to DvD players to radios. Whatever it was, the male could - and would - fix it. He had the rugged look to him, as well.. like he rarely showered. The scruffy look that every male wore, well.. not every man. Working men. Not the rich bastards could could afford to wipe their own ass with money.

"Ah, Richard," A male voice chimed, raising a glass of champagne to the gray haired male. "To another fantastic trip you are bringing me and my wife on." To Richard! The group chimed, raising their classes. Richard had invited several of his close friends out to sail around the world. From the Bahamas to Hawaii. They planned to go everywhere, or try to at least. Richard, his wife, six friends and Marcus.. their handyman. Again, he did everything; made sure the yacht stayed on course, cooked for everyone when the anchor was down. Simply kept everything running, allowing Richard and his guests to relax peacefully on the yacht.

"But yes, where is that handyman of your's, Richard? Uh," The male spoke, taking a small puff of his cigar as they sat around the back of the yacht, soaking up the sunlight. "Mark? Where is Mark?"

A light laugh passed through Richard's lips, "Marcus." The old male spoke, taking a puff of his own cigar before washing it down with scotch. "He is the 'captain' of the ship, right now. At the helm, he's making sure we get to our destination safe.. and sound." Placing his glass down on the table, right hand moving over to his wife's hand, grabbing it gently. "Isn't that right, hun?"

"Huh?" Jennifer was stirred from her daydreaming by her husband's voice and his hand enveloping her own. She had been busy watching the waves crest and fall around the yacht as it smoothly gliding along the water, with the occasional bump from crashing against a rough patch in the sea. But Marcus was usually good enough to keep that from happening. She'd been thinking about the handyman in question for a while now, probably a lot longer than she should be, considering she was a married woman, and her loyalty was to her husband and to her husband alone.

A soft sigh escaped her lips, looking over at Richard, realizing his, as well as everyone else's eyes, were on her. A soft blush of embarrassment invaded her cheeks, and she smiled. She hadn't exactly been paying attention to the conversation when brought back into it. So it seemed she was taking a leap of faith here.

"Yes, yes of course." She simply nodded, having no clue what she could be agreeing to. Aged at thirty, she was what you could consider a 'trophy wife' to her older husband. Meant to be seen, not heard, and devote her life and affections to him. Which was well worth it to enjoy her luxurious lifestyle. Shopping, clothes, jewelry, anything she wanted was hers with a wave of the hand. And Richard was more happy to pay. And this little trip had been his idea. What he'd called a 'present to her' was more like a way to impress his friends and hers, and most of their husbands were wealthy as well, and hopefully they'd invest in his company, a guaranteed payoff.

Dressed in a simple white bikini that left little to the imagination, holding her shapely breasts securely in the loose fabric. Around her waist was a green wrap that covered most of her long, tanned legs. Over her top was a soft, faded yellow sweatshirt to keep the breeze and hot sun off her skin. Silky, slightly curled brown hair fell a bit past her soft shoulders. Leaning over towards Richard, she placed a soft, delicate kiss against his cheek, then his lips. Normally he place would be sitting in his lap, arms around his neck, but for the moment she'd been given the good grace to simply sit at his side.

The two didn't exactly see eye to eye on everything, not that it wasn't a happy marriage. A marriage built on money, sex, and maybe even love. She got everything she wanted, and he got great lovemaking for the rest of his life. But as of late, Marcus had been the man occupying her mind. Which was dangerous considering she could lose everything by commiting an infidelity, which had crossed her mind on more than one occassion. Altough his feelings about her were quite unclear.

RE: The man you love & the man he hates // SexyChick&Relix

Richard let out a small laugh at the girl's statement, wasn't hard to tell that she was spaced out. It was how she got on the yacht, wind whipping at their faces, cool breezes, soothing sounds. It was expected for her to space out, if she didn't.. he knew there was something up. Shaking his head lightly after returning the kiss, bringing her hand up to his lips to place a light kiss on her hand. Richard wasn't completely... fat, but, he wasn't in shape anymore. Getting there as he grew older and older. So, of course, Marcus would have the better body given that he was around the same age as Jennifer.

Though, the handyman's feelings toward the girl were.. quite weird, perplexed. He found her attractive, yes but, her being attractive and him liking her were two different things. Her being attractive simply meant that she was that, attractive. Him liking her was to mean that he thought about her constantly, wanted to be with her; which, wasn't the case. Marcus worked for her husband, it would net two losses for them if they went under the sheets together. She'd be divorced, thrown on her ass. Marcus would be fired, out of work for whoever knows how long. Risk worth the net losses? Not at all.

"Your wife is still as beautiful as the day I first met her, Richard," The male spoke lightly, the women having left their husbands so they could talk... 'business'. Business meant perversion rolled up into big talk, usually who would sleep with who's wives.. something of the same. "I still think she's got Tony's wife beat by a mile, after that second kid... Phew!" The male spoke, laughing lightly. The three men but Tony laughing over it.

"Hey, man, I'm right here.. not cool. Plus, I wouldn't be saying so much about my wife when your's is missing a tooth. What happened? Rotted out from all your brother's sperm?" Another set of laugh erupting from the men. Talking went as usual, loud enough for them to hear it.. low enough for the women to miss everything.

Marcus simply looked out to the ocean from the top of the yacht, making sure to keep them headed in the right direction. Normally around this time, Jennifer just happened to... 'pop' in for a quick check-up. See how everything is going. Marcus was Caucasian but had a fairly deep tan for being white. All the hours he spends under the sun with barely anything on.. sometimes, when he knows he's truly alone. There is work done in his birthday suit.

Now was Jennifer's cue to leave and let the men talk amongst themselves. She didn't need to be around to hear which of Richard's friends wanted to sleep with her rather than their own wife. Although the consensus usually was that they all wanted a piece of her. But her husband was the only one to get her in the end. That was unless she decided to cheat, which would probably never happen. Much too risky to consider committing adultery, she'd be left flat on her ass, and the guy, whoever it was, would probably get a good beating. No more lunch in fancy restaurants, trips to Paris, shopping sprees, big house, nice car to drive. All of it would be gone. She'd get nothing from Richard if they were to divorce, he'd be sure to hold onto every last penny.

"I think I'll leave you guys to talk." As she got up, Jennifer laid a soft kiss against her husband's cheek before heading to the stern of the yacht, chatting amongst the other wives for a few minutes before making her usual trip up the ladder to check on Marcus. She did this regularly, not out of any particular interest in him, it just seemed like the friendly thing to do. He certainly had to get bored driving and working on the boat without any conversation and simply being ordered around the entire trip.

Finding the handsome younger male at the wheel, she leaned against the railing, hair whipping a little in the breeze, sweatshirt fluttering a bit as well. "Hey Marcus." She greeted with a polite smile, moving to lean on the edge near the wheel, casting a glance in his direction. "Are we still on course?" She asked with a curious grin, subconsciously checking him out despite her better judgment. Nothing ever happened between them, he never made a move on her, and she didn't, either. No inappropriate flirting, kissing, embracing, zero physical contact, except the occasional shake of the hand when he did a good job. And Richard was usually the one to do that, anyways.

The question wasn't exactly hard for him to answer, and she probably shouldn't have even asked it. Marcus was damn good at his job, and it was a good possibility they were going the right way. Her eyes continued to look him over, drawn to his strong form.

RE: The man you love & the man he hates // SexyChick&Relix

Marcus noticed her presence within the second she moved up the ladder. It wasn't hard to tell the shifting of the ladder under weight; male or female. Her question only resulted in him shaking his head, "If-" The male's voice a bit high from the lack of speaking, normally, he talked to himself. Surely, a bad trait, given that it'd make him seem crazy. It just kept his voice even toned, without the need to clear his throat. Bringing his hand up from the wheel, the male placed his hand over his mouth before clearing his throat. "If it wasn't, I surely wouldn't be here anymore." The male spoke in reply, tone terribly dull. He wasn't bored with the girl, she just asked pointless questions.

Richard's attention moved up to the highest spot of the yacht, where Marcus guided the yacht from. Temper getting a bit heated as the shadow of his wife was up there in the room with him, it wasn't hard to tell her form to the somewhat visible shaded window. Shaking his head lightly, brushing her conversation with Marcus.. simply brushing off the whole thought of her thinking about cheating on him. "I do say, I am a lucky man.. if you all could see her in the bed, your jaw would fall off." A light grin passing over his lips, of course.. a fib here between friends were just that; fibs. Who knew what? Only Richard knew what happened.

The chances of her leaving immediately weren't at all likely, Marcus turned his head to look at her through the corner of his eyes. "Anything else, Mrs. Sinclair?" The male chimed lightly, "Mr. Sinclair believe there is a tweak anywhere?" He asked lightly, it wasn't against what she did.. the male simply didn't wish to give people things to talk about. Give Richard suspicions to fire him on the spot when they arrived back in Florida. "If not, with all due respect.. I need you to leave me be, Mrs. Sinclair. Need to make sure everything is correct, one slight slip up and we all could be tipped over.. drowning in the Atlantic Ocean." Nodding lightly, surely, that was all a lie. Marcus just needed to get her away from him.. something about her just begged for him to be invited closer.

Jennifer was a bit off put as Marcus casually dismissed her, not even attempting to talk to her. Maybe he wasn't in the mood, which was strange since he'd been up here for so long driving the boat, it just didn't make sense to her that he wouldn't want to talk with someone. Now she regretted extending him the courtesy of conversation. Feeling terribly neglected by the hired hand, she sighed lightly and turned from him. Apparently his focus had to be fully concentrated on steering, and it couldn't be drawn anywhere else. Shrugging her shoulders, she started off, stopping short of the ladder, glancing over her shoulder at the handyman. "Okay, well if you ever want to..." Her voice trailed off, not wanting to make the same mistake twice. "Never mind." She muttered, shaking her head and heading down the ladder.

Deciding not to rejoin her husband either, Jennifer went and moved to the stern again, sitting separately from the group of 'friends'. She looked out at the strong, surging waves left behind by the yacht's high powered motor. She wanted to dive right into the clear blue water, leave everyone and everything behind and be alone. Her husband wasn't paying her any special attention, and she'd been rejected by Marcus as well. This trip was turning sour. She hadn't expected it to be that much fun, but it was turning out worse than she had hoped for.

"Why to I bother going on these trips.." The brunette murmured to herself, crossing her arms over her chest, looking out at the sun which was starting to set, a shadow spreading steadily over the water. It was a beautiful sight, probably the best thing to happen on the trip so far.

RE: The man you love & the man he hates // SexyChick&Relix

Marcus had to reject her for his own personal safety, his job depended on it. If he didn't focus, Richard would assume the worst on Marcus' part.. Jennifer wouldn't have anything done to her, he'd lose his job. The only job he had, the only flow of currency.

Richard's lips smirked as he watched the girl retreat from where Marcus had been. "Poor little thing, isn't she?" The male asked, turning to Tony, "She seems so bored, yet, when the trip had first started.. she was the most excited one of us all." A grin resting on his face, the male simply shook his head and laughed. Taking another long drag from his cigar before washing it down with scotch again.

Marcus watched from atop of the yacht, a small sigh passing through his lips, he didn't want to feel the regret he did when he turned away Jennifer, but, he needed to. A light sigh passed through his lips, another... shaking his head lightly. Opening his eyes to-

The boat caught a hold of something, a sharp rock tore a hole in the hull. Only Jennifer, Marcus and Richard survived, yet.. they hadn't survived. They were lost to the world, lost at sea.

"Aahhhh!"

The sudden shriek piercing through the still air, Richard's scream as he was awoken from the wreckage.. washed up on shore of some island. Piece of metal from his yacht piercing through his left leg. "Jennifer!!" The male shouted, he was alone.. wanted his wife.. needed his wife.

Before she knew it, Jennifer went flying off the stern of the yacht as it slammed against the jagged, pointed rock, which she hadn't even seen. Thankfully she managed to avoid the spinning rotors of the motor, not getting cut or injured in any way. She felt the current drag underwater, losing consciousness beneath the waves. Everything went dark...the last thing she saw was the underside of the boat and the reflection of the sun on the water's surface...

Stirring a bit, slowly waking up, she felt the sensation of warm sand beneath her, blinking once or two as her eyes refocused, restoring her vision. Brushing aside her damp, silky hair, Jennifer managed to get to her knees, legs weak from getting tossed around by the water, which had landed her on the shore of an island. Looking around in every direction, she saw no sign of the boat, any other land, or anyone else for that matter. Struggling a little, she got to her feet, feelng a bit sick, likely from swallowing a lot of salt water. Taking the time to check herself over, there didn't seem to be any wounds or injuries of any kind. Thankful to be without a scratch, and alive for that matter, the woman suddenly heard a shout, breaking the silence. It was a familiar voice, too, Richard, her husband!

Doing the best she could, feeling dizzy as well, she tried to follow voice, hopefully headed in the right direction. After a few minutes, she spotted the wreckage of the yacht, looking far beyond repair. And laying in the sand nearby, there he was! Rushing over, kneeling down by his side, she immediately noticed the metal pierced through his leg. In a medical situation, Jennifer was completely clueless as to what to do, hopelessly looking around.

"Richard, honey, I don't know what to do.." She said frantically, not knowing whether to pull it out, thinking that might make it worse, causing him to bleed out, but keeping it in wouldn't allow it to heal. Unless there was a way to bandage the wound, pulling it out didn't seem like such a good idea. But it looked like that was her only option.

Taking his hand, she looked to his face. "We have to take it out, or it won't heal. Just hold still.." She murmured in a soft voice, carefully grasping the piece of metal where it didn't appear to be sharp, counting to three in her head before pulling it out abruptly and tossing the blood-stained and sharp object away from both of them.

He started bleeding almost immediately, so it looked like she needed to put pressure on it. Using her free hand, Jennifer pressed down hard on the wound, stopping the bleeding as best she could, staying close to him.

RE: The man you love & the man he hates // SexyChick&Relix

"Aahhhhh!" Richard yelled again, the object being torn from his body. Hands immediately moving to clutch at the blood seeping wound. Teeth gritting in the pain he was in, "Why in the bloody hell did you pull it out!?" The male shouted at her, cursing her under his breath as his eyes were held tightly closed. What in the fuck happened?! "Marcus... he's a dead man if he's still alive.. that fucker... crashed my yacht... killed my-" Another pain shot through his body, crushing any want to finish his statement. The pain in his leg was growing, struck fairly deep.

Marcus had done a few tours in the jungles of Africa, he was well equipped with survival skills to keep himself alive for years, if necessary. Enough food, supplies from the yacht that wouldn't perish within the first month. Simply needed to take it slow, pace himself.. think that he was in the military again. Devolve back to that life he once lived. 'Aahhhhh!!' The scream echoed through the jungle, "Richard..." The male spoke, clothes soaked.. it was nearing night. He'd need to get settled to make a fire.. something to keep himself, and any other survivor's he found, alive. So far.. he only believed Richard was still alive.

"Ugh! Get the fuck away!" Richard barked at Jennifer, smacking her bloodied hand away from his leg, "This is your god damn fault in the first place!" The male spoke, already starting to point the blame at his wife and Marcus. "If you hadn't... distracted Marcus! We'd all be safe!" Grunting lightly, the male's body racked with another sharp pain. The male screamed out in pain, his leg still bleeding... staining the sand below him the crimson red color.

"Shh!" The male shouted at Jennifer, though he was the one making all the noise. "What in the hell was that shuffling!?" Richard questioned, looking toward the lush trees of the island. A miniature jungle on their own little island.. shall be interesting. "I'll fucking kill you if you come any fucking closer!" Richard shouted, his half-truthful attempt at a threat coming very, very short from it.

They were in the light, whoever was in the trees.. was not. Obviously, wasn't hard to tell that Richard wouldn't be doing anything.

"Come down, boss," Marcus spoke, stepping from the trees, "Its just me.." The male continued, tearing a piece of his sleeve off. Long enough to wrap around the male's wound. - "You! You son of a bitc- Aahhhh!" The older man screamed, feeling the male tie cloth around his leg. "When we get back to the states... your ass is fired! Except a lawsuit, too buddy!" Richard removed his right hand to jab his fingers into Marcus' chest. Only causing him to grow irritated with the male.

"Thats if you make it back to the States, sir..." The male spoke in reply, standing up. "I bid you farewell, out of us three.. I have the most survival training here by a long shot. Enjoy getting around with that gimp leg, Dick." Marcus spoke, turning to move to the brush that he came from.

Jennifer jumped back from him as her husband smacked her hand away from his leg. She sighed, looking around helplessly, thinking a miracle might come out of now. A rescue boat, another person, anything! But from the looks of it, the couple seemed to be on their own. And Richard was blaming Marcus for everything, as well as her for the pain he was currently experienced. As she tried to get close again, he only pushed her away with more force. "I was just trying to help you! But if you want to lay there and suffer, that's fine!" She yelled back, crossing her arms and stepping away from him, though remaining close enough to watch him without being pushed and shoved around. This is the thanks I get? Well screw him then, let him bleed out in the sand.. Her thoughts were hateful, but at the moment Jennifer felt no guilt or sorrow for him. She'd tried to help him when he needed her the most, and he'd driven her away, so why bother to try? Blaming everyone else for his problems instead of accepting help. Not exactly a smart strategy if he wanted to survive.

Then Richard started to tell her to be quiet, but the only one screaming and making noise was him. Then as he threatened her life, she stepped further away, not wanting to be anywhere near her husband at this point. Then hearing the rustle from the bushes, she moved towards the water, not exactly prepared to defend herself, but keeping her distance couldn't hurt. But it turned out to be a "friendly face", Marcus. Jennifer smiled a little, at least he was being calm and sensible about this. But as he tried to help as well, Richard refused, casting him away as well. Watching as the tanned male turned, heading back towards the brush, she sighed, knowing she couldn't let him go, it wouldn't do any of them any good if they separated. And she knew he had experience in these kinds of situations, valuable survival skills that could keep all of them alive.

Running up from the sand, Jennifer caught Marcus by the arm, halting his movement. "You can't go! We can't just leave him here like this to die!" She pleaded, despite her feelings of resentment towards Richard at the moment. It still wouldn't be right to leave him, and she knew that. Pulling him back a little towards the shore, she looked him right in the eyes. "Please, help him..you have to.." Of course he didn't have any motivation, not to mention good reason to save her husband, especially considering the way he was acting. But moral obligation was guiding her decisions, and hopefully it would appeal to Marcus' judgment as well. "Please.." She said, pulling on his shirt. "Help him..for me.." She whispered to him. If not for him, would he do it for her?

RE: The man you love & the man he hates // SexyChick&Relix

Marcus felt the girl's hand tug on his arm, a light sigh passing through his lips as he heard her statements. Yeah, Marcus was completely fine with leaving these two out here to die by themselves. He didn't have to do anything.. didn't have to help Richard, didn't have to help Jennifer. Removing her hand from his shirt, the male turned to look at Richard. "Grab a side... we need to get him out of the sand." The male muttered lightly before turning back to Richard, kneeling down beside the male.. his tone completely pissed off, cursing at Marcus, spitting at the male. Alright, this isn't going to work... The man thought to himself, "Richard, calm dow-" The male interrupted his statement to quickly hit a pressure point in his neck, watching his body fall limp.

"Fuck... finally..." The male groaned lightly, he hated using any sort of violence to men in pain, but, there was no other possible way to deal with Richard if he hadn't knocked him out. Picking his left side up, the male slung his left arm over his shoulder's, waiting for Jennifer to do the same.

It took them roughly twenty minutes to get the quickly going over-weight male to a suitable spot to set up camp. Marcus idly working to start a fire after re-patching the male's wound, he lost a lot of blood.. but, he'd make it. Didn't hurt a terribly important vein or anything, he'd just be tremendously sore and potentially gimp in his right leg forever. Marcus wasn't a doctor, couldn't preform surgery on this male's leg even if he had the right tools.

Watching a small fire begin to flame in the center of his rocks and dried bark, adding a few pieces of dried leaves to keep the fire going before adding a few pieces of wood. Turning toward Jennifer, a light frown forming on his lips. "Are you all right?" Marcus asked, a slight worried tone of voice. "I need to run back to.. the yacht, you can come if you want. Need to get the first-aid kit, Richard will need anti-biotic if he wishes to keep his leg.. just with major muscle and tissue damage. Better then it being cut off." Standing up from the fire, "The fire should burn for a few more minutes if you wished to stay with Richard, just add a few more pieces of dried leaves and bark to keep it burning if you wish to stay."

286009_20090628140052.jpg

Helping Marcus carry - make it drag - Richard out of the sand as he advised, they picked out a spot to set up camp. The sun was going down, it would be dark very soon. It was true, he didn't have to help them, either of them, especially considering how badly Richard treated him while working. But now he was really in need, but there couldn't be much motiviation for him to help out, and although reluctant, it seemed that she'd managed to get through to him. Before long they had a fire burning and he'd fixed up Richard's leg to the best of his ability. It was probably necessary to knock him out, since Richard wouldn't accept help from either of them while conscious. And still her husband remained out cold for the time being.

Sighing lightly, sitting on a log she'd rolled out from the brush, her eyes watched the flickering flames, small sparks crackling up now and then from the dried leaves and branches they'd gathered and used for tinder. Marcus had really proven himself as useful so far, and hopefully it would stay that way. And hopefully Richard would calm down and let him help them, because it seemed like he was their only shot at survival on this god-forsaken island. Perking her head up from the fire at the male's familar voice, holding herself, at least that's what it looked like, Jennifer looked up at Marcus. "All right is pretty much the last thing I am right now. Tired, hungry, upset, frustrated, worried, and a little pissed off right now. But definitely not all right." She didn't mean to sound cold and distant, the last thing she wanted to do was drive a gap between herself and him, but it was hard not to get defensive from such a stupid question. Seemed he had knack for asking them as well.

Forcing a smile, she contemplated whether or not to go with him, there didn't seem to be much point for her to do so. Plus, if Richard woke up with both of them gone, it would probably just make him angrier when the two of them came back. Who knows what conclusions he might draw? Or suspicions that might form. For all Richard knew, if they came back after he woke up, he would probably assume the two were sleeping together. So the best course of action would be to stay with her husband, for both their sakes. Even if it mean a verbal assault if he did wake up while Marcus went to the yacht.

Turning her attention to him afrter thinking it over, she spoke up in a quiet voice. "If it's all the same to you, I think I should stay with my husband. Otherwise he might get..ideas, if we come back together." She said, expressing her reasoning openly to him. "But while you're gone, do you think you could possibly look for some of my clothes?" Jennifer still had her bikini on, as well as her sweatshirt and wrap, but it wasn't enough, they wouldn't stay clean for long. She wouldn't be surprised if he didn't find anything she could wear, but it didn't hurt to ask.

RE: The man you love & the man he hates // SexyChick&Relix

Marcus shook his head lightly, a light smile resting on his lips. That wasn't what he was asking; all right as in injuries, cuts, bruises. Tired, hungry, pissed. Those emotions were nothing out here, you learned to ignore the useless emotions like sadness and anger. Focus on keeping yourself awake and strong enough without the right amount of foods to eat. Surely, there were fruits around that he could get. Potentially find a knife of some kind in the damaged yacht, he would need it to cut fruits and all other sorts of fun stuff.

Shaking his head lightly, the male pushed himself up from the fire. "Remember, add dried leaves and dried bark." Stretching his arms out lightly, he didn't plan to look for much tonight. First aid.. and get his long sleeved shirt from the command room so he could give it to Jennifer, serve as a blanket for her tonight. Moving toward the way that they came from the yacht, the male stopped in his tracks to look back at the girl. "And, note.. I meant if you had any cuts and bruises, not how you were feeling." His legs quickly moving again, he didn't say that to make her feel stupid.. just to try to lessen her pissed off mood.

Marcus returned to their camp with the large metal box, the white and red plus sign on the top. He picked up a few other things; a pair of girl jeans, he was unsure who's.. figured they would fit Jennifer's form without problem. His long sleeved shirt, a knife and some minor foods. Just something basic.. he had jerky. That was it, something that had protein in it.. would be able to last them a good bit as long as they took their time eating it.

Moving toward the male, the male tossed the pants to Jennifer. Moving on the right side of his leg, the male flipped open the first-aid kit. Delicately removing the bloodied sleeve from Richard's leg, "You need to grab his arms... or sit on him, this will hurt him a whole hell of a lot." Marcus warned the girl, Richard would flail about. She just needed to hold down his exhausted form. Opening the peroxide bottle, the male poured some on a piece of cloth. Rubbing at the seven inch cut.

"Aaaaah!!!!!" Richard screamed, "Oh fucking god!" the male continued to scream, the stinging from the peroxide stirring him from his unconsciousness. His torso flailed up, only to hit the ground with a thud. The pain was too unbearable, only caused his body to shut back down.

Taking in a light breath, Marcus sat in front of the fire, adding a few pieces of log to the fire. He would need to sleep soon.. big day ahead of him.

Jennifer watched as he went off to gather supplies and such from the yacht, patiently awaiting his return. She looked over at Richard, who remained unconscious, it almost looked as if he'd never wake up again. Leaning over to him, she lightly caressed his cheek before kissing it. She still loved him, not matter how much cruel, rude, or intolerant he could be. Being sure to keep the fire burning during Marcus' absence, the male returned soon enough the first aid kit, as well as some other things. She caught the jeans, holding them against her. Turned out they belonged to her. Thank God he'd brought back something. Not her entire wardrobe, but it would do. Standing up off her log, she pulled the jeans on and buttoned them before sitting back down.

She watched Marcus curiously as he began to treat Richard further, pulling off the bloodied sleeve used to wrap his wound. Just as he warned her to hold him down, her husband screamed and flailed up, just to go falling back down, hitting the ground with a thud. So much for that. Smiling over at Marcus, she spoke up politely. "Thanks for the jeans, I really appreciate it. And for helping us. I know you didn't have to, but it was still very nice of you." A gentle breeze swept in and Jennifer zipped up her sweatshirt a little to keep warm, even with the fire going. Getting up, she went around Richard, out cold again, to sit next to the tanned male, looking over at him.

"I know my husband doesn't really treat you well, in fact blames you for all of us, but it was still good of you to help. I want to thank you on his behalf and my own." Leaning over she kissed his cheek softly, again holding herself in her arms, finding comfort and solace in doing so. Stifling a yawn, Jennifer stretched, suddenly letting the exhaustion hit her, realizing how tired she really was.

"We better get some sleep." She remarked, moving off the log to curl up in the sand, closing her eyes and trying to drift off.

Sleep.

If it were only that easy. Turning his head back to look at the girl who curled up in the sand next to her husband, "Hey," Marcus spoke lightly before pulling the long sleeve shirt off from his body, "Use this as a pillow," The male continued, balling up his long sleeved shirt before throwing it at her. "Tough to get out sand in an ocean." He was hoping that he could find a waterfall with a small pool of water somewhere on the island. Normally, every island had on. Wouldn't be as salty as the ocean, better to wash up. They'd need to take Richard there, get his leg removed of the blood but not let his wound hit water.

Marcus wasn't going to say that they were welcomed for him staying with them, he's been in situations like these. Its not a walk in the park, chances of them being found were slim to none. He would just need to help them adapt.. live with the wild, use what you have around you to keep strong, stay mentally tough. Someone was going to break mentally, Marcus' bet was on Jennifer. Bad thing to place any type of bet on, but, given her position between them three. She'd be scrutinized off every little thing she does with Marcus, whether it be him showing her how to start a fire. Showing her how to tell what is edible, what isn't. Richard will be down her throat about everything, high rising suspicions. Constant bickering, pointing fingers. Name calling. That would be the only thing the male could do, he was practically paralyzed.

Morning arrived upon the three stranded beings quickly, the tree tops blocking out most of the sun. Who knew what time it was.. Marcus long forgot how to tell by looking at the sun, always had some sort of device when he was in the military giving him the time. This would be one of those 'Wing and a pray' situations with time, he's either wrong.. or he's right. Doubtful that it'd be the later.

Groaning heavily, Richard attempted to shift... only to clutch his leg and wince in pain. Audible curses causing Marcus to stir from his sleep. Richard's eyes held tightly shut, right arm folded over his eyes to prevent anyone from seeing the tears welling in his eyes. His left hand resting at his stomach. Marcus shifted after rubbing his eyes, letting out silent yawns. Pushing himself up, the male moved over to Richard, "The pain won't go away if you continue to move, sir," Marcus spoke to the male on his back, opening the first aid kid.

"I know that you buffoon!" Richard hissed back angrily, already with his attitude. His bitterness would be something that would take a toll on Marcus' tolerance. For the most part, he'd be doing it to make sure Jennifer got eased up on. If he took the brunt force of Richard's hatred, Jennifer would most likely be spared in suspicions. "You did this to me, you bastard!" Richard continued to shout, surely waking Jennifer already with his screaming and anger.

A light sigh passed through Marcus' lips, "You need to cal-" - "I will not calm down! You caused my fucking yacht to crash! Killing my friends! Destroying my yacht and getting my leg shredded up!" Richard groaned, grunted... he was pissed. "Don't tell me to calm the fuck down.. we're in the middle of fucking no where and you are so god-damn calm! Was this your plan, Marcus?! Get me out here, kill me off so you can sleep with my wife!?"

There is it.. suspicions. "No, sir, I didn't see the jagged rock until we were right up on it. By that time, it was too late." Marcus' eyes focused on peeling away the gauss pad that he placed on Richard's leg, the blood tying it to the skin of his leg. Richard only groaning in pain as he pulled the pad away slowly.

Jennifer smiled as Marcus tossed her the shirt to use a a pillow, a lot easier that laying her head in the sand, keeping it out of her hair. "Thank you.." She whispered, looking over at him, before resting her head back down, cushioning it with the balled-up shirt. As she laid there, finger tracing in the sand, a bit caught up in her thoughts, she couldn't get to sleep right away. Marcus was being terribly helpful, especially when he didn't have to be. It seemed, at least, that the male was concerned with her well-being, and maybe Richard's, but not likely. Probably just for her sake that he was being treated and taken care of. God knows her husband's attitude towards him wasn't a motivation, maybe it was just good moral judgment driving his actions and decisions. But that didn't seem too likely, either.

Trying to clear her mind, as hard as it was, from all the events that occured, of where she was, of what had happened, the brunette was finally able to drift of to sleep, laying a few feet from Richard...

And before she knew it, Jennifer was awake again, woken up by the quite audible yelling, cursing, and screaming. Her husband, no doubt about that. Not only that his voice was familiar, but who else would it be? Stirred from her sleep, which certainly wasn't the best sleep she'd ever had, the female leaned up, her view of her husband blocked by Marcus, who was most likely getting his wound treated. And if not, he'd still probably be yelling at Marcus for one reason or another. Picking up some of their argument, still half-asleep, she heard "calm down", "crash", "leg shredded", "plan", and most clearly, "sleep with my wife.", already her husband was suspcious, it seemed. Sighing lightly she got to her feet, stepping around to sit on the other side of Richard. Resting her hand on his shoulder, she was going to try to keep him calm, since Marcus' reasoning and explanation seemed to do nothing to quell his anger.

"Please, honey, you've got to relax, listen to him please..." She said with as soothing a voice as she could muster, although even trying this would probably just earn her a laundry list of accusations as well. "Listen to him, he knows what he's doing.." Jennifer insisted, desperately trying to keep him relaxed. It would just make matters worse that she was "siding" with Marcus, but at the moment she didn't care. No matter how much of a prick he had been, and was still being, as his wife she wanted to do what was best for him, even if Richard was too stupid to realize it..

His rage was expected; yacht crashed, friends killed, leg injured. Richard's 'perfect' vacation had took a sharp turn for the worst. Trapped, abandoned with his wife and a handyman, on a island who knows how far away from the nearest body of land. Richard's flare up, his rage, anger for both of them. It was justified in a few ways, but, it would get really old.. really quickly.

"I'm talking to you, Marcus!" The male continued, the handyman continuing to do his best to simply ignore it. His wife helping the situation in no manner, "Men are talking, Jennifer! Shut up!" Glaring at the woman who now sat at his side, hand resting on his chest. He was exhausted, sore, in pain.. his emotions were being wore on his sleeve. Everything being taken to personally, his wife siding with the handyman. Only signaled that she was wanting to sleep with him. "Owww!" The male howled as Marcus pulled back more of the bandage, "Stop that, you fuck!"

Marcus sighed, removing his hands from the gauss pad before shifting back, pushing himself to stand up. "I'm going to find a bottle, or something, to fill with water. I'll be back sooner or later..." The male spoke, shaking his head lightly. Stepping over Richard to move back toward the way they came from the wreckage.

"You fuck him yet, Jennifer?"

The first thing he said to his wife, his suspicions running high. There was no 'Good morning, sweetie' with a kiss on the cheek. Simple question, simple answer. "It seems terribly fishy that you go and visit Marcus then the yacht crashes." Richard's eyes glaring at his wife, hands clenching against the sand. "Let me guess.." Richard paused, his eyes simply glaring at his wife.. if looks could kill. "You went up, gave him a little hand play then he crashed so you two could fuck in the jungle, huh?"

Sighing lightly, Jennifer turned away as he immediately started accusing her of infidelity. How he got it in his head that she was cheating on him was beyond her. Although it wasn't too surprising, consider who Richard was. She really knew him, probably better than most people, and it was somewhat understandable, but completely ridiculous in this case because he was dead wrong. And that's exactly how he'd end up if he didn't start trusting her and Marcus. In his condition, her husband would have to go on a little faith here. Something the man in question rarely did. Always finding foolish justifications or reasons to point fingers and blame at everyone except himself. No responsiblity, absolutely none at all.

"Stupid man.." She muttered under her breath, knowing he couldn't hear her, probably too focusing thinking about her cheating on him, which she of course wasn't. After a few minutes of silence, Richard's rambling aside, Jennifer finally turned back to look at him, a somewhat neutral expression on her face, looking down at the sand before lifting his gaze to look right at him. Reaching over she gently rested her hand on his shoulder, squeezing it. Raising her free hand, it held her wedding ring, a simple but gold band with diamonds embedded around it. Finding his eyes, the woman forced a smile, mustering the courage to speak up.

"Look, Richard, whatever sentiments or ideas you have in that thick head of yours..you can just forget them. I don't know what you're basing this off of, where or what your proof is, but I'm not cheating on .Whether you know it or not, I'm committed to our marriage, and have been since that day. I don't fuck around, and wouldn't be surprised if you are." She said as-a-matter-of-factly. "So either you can trust me, and Marcus, or keep being stubborn. Which will only things more difficult for all of us."

Finishing her long-winded "lecture", she lowered his gaze to look at the ground, lowering her hands to her sides, hugging her knees to her chest. As if defending herself for the next slew of insults that would burst from his mouth.

RE: The man you love & the man he hates // SexyChick&Relix

"Are you insinuating me on cheating, Jennifer!?" Richard growled back angrily, defense can prove to be truthful or false. In Richard's case, truthful. He had cheated before, he bet Tony that would've landed Tony a night with his wife if he won. Tony lost, Richard won. Richard had sex with Tony's wife. Done deal. That was just one of many other's, though. Why should it matter? He was rich and married to Jennifer, just because she put out doesn't mean he has to stay faithful. She, on the other hand, does.

"I can't believe you, Jennifer... you'd stoop that low." Shaking his head lightly, his tone falling far from angered. Trying to pass a simple rouse to make her look like the bad guy. Shaking his head continuously, Richard had forgot all about the pain, simply looked away from his wife. He had nothing to say to prove his innocence or prove his guilt. Ignorance is bliss.

Marcus had returned an hour later, bottle full of water, a bit more food, some more clothes, and a few more items that will come in handy. Knives, steel tape, just stuff that would help them around the camp site. He didn't know who's the clothes were, just brought them along. Letting the pack fall to the ground, the vibe in as soon as he stepped toward Jennifer and Richard was hostile. Richard was passed out again, but, he could tell that they didn't share very nice words while he was away.

"I, uh," Marcus spoke, clearing his throat a bit. "Brought more clothes, not sure who's they are.. just figured you two would need them." His tone of voice was dull, he wasn't disappointed in being there with them. Just wasn't the one for talking. Moving back to Richard's leg, the male pulled the bottle of water from his pocket. Marcus twisted the cap off the bottle, "There is food around here.. I brought some stuff, though," The male spoke, pausing to pour some of the water on the gauss pad.

Marcus simply tore it off from that point on, Richard jerking up to scream out in pain before passing out.

"Low pain tolerance, huh?" Marcus mocked, shaking his head lightly, looking over to Jennifer. "I might need your help soon... rain might be rolling in. In the military, they taught you how to build a nine foot tall, eight foot wide fort out of logs and brush." Pausing for a moment to crumble up the pad before throwing it to the fire pit. "Need to make one for Richard, so, it needs to be longer.. then one that you and I can share. I know it will be awkward, but, the less materials we use. The more we have to use fires for."

Richard's words stung her as usual, and Jennifer turned away from him, tempted to cover her ears in an attempt to block out the terrible blathering from his mouth. Part of him wanted to punch him in the jaw, that would shut him up, he wasn't exactly in a position to get up and chase her if she chose to do so then walk on off down the shore. Soon enough Marcus returned, which brought her some solace, and Richard was out cold again before long. Thank God. She stayed huddled in a ball, staring down at the ground for what felt like the longest time. Before long she looked up at Marcus, who had brought back more supplies, clothes, food, and such. She sunk deeper into depression, her husband's heated anger playing over and over in her head like a bad horror movie. It would give her terrible dreams for sure. No matter what she said, her words did nothing to phase him, but his irrational rage was like a slap in the face telling her she was wrong.

Listening intently to his next words, she smiled a little, trying to stay in a positive state of mind, it was the only thing that would allow her to keep her sanity. Nodding, Jennifer uncurled, resting her hands in her lap, turning her attention to the man. "Let the prick lay in the rain for all I care, hope he gets pneumonia and his fucking leg falls over." She said, not giving a damn about her husband at this point, especially considering the little exchange they'd just said. "I don't mind staying in a shelter with you, sure beats the hell out of staying with him." The woman reasoned. She had all the reasons in the world to like Marcus and all the reasons to be upset, dare she say, hate Richard. Marcus was the one keeping her alive, providing for her, being nice to her. Richard hadn't done a damn thing but blame them and accuse her of cheating, which she already assumed he'd done himself. So screw her husband, and her marriage.

Getting to her feet, Jennifer brushed the sand off her legs, although some refused to come up, clinging stubbornly to her body. Oh well, hopefully they'd find a freshwater spring somewhere on the island where she could wash off. "Okay, what do you need? Here to help." Her smile widened. Helping out would hopefully put her in a good mood.

RE: The man you love & the man he hates // SexyChick&Relix

Yep, wasn't hard at all to tell that Jennifer and Richard had a small dispute. Her tones, body language, over all statements about the male seemed to say that she didn't care at all about him or their marriage. That.. is a bad thing. Marcus wouldn't pay any mind to it, she needed to get over it herself.. without the male's help, that'd only play the part of her moving into his loving arms. Neither of which he wanted either of them to play apart in.

Standing up from beside Richard, Marcus motioned for the girl to follow. They'd need tall, and strong, enough logs to withstand the weather. Hurricanes, tropical storms, rains.. they were all the most deadly out here. "We will need about twenty or so logs, Jennifer." Marcus spoke lightly, that was just to have enough for the two shelters. He didn't know what he'd use to make sure everything would stay secure.

Moving down the path, the male was leading the girl to running water. As assumed, there was a pond with a waterfall in the jungle. Was a good twenty minutes from where they set up camp. Halting the girl behind him, the male looked down the path, it was sloping down. Didn't want either of them getting hurt, just what Jennifer needs.. both men getting hurt, one more important then the other in terms of survival. "Careful, Jennifer." The male spoke lightly, sliding down the slope, it wasn't too-too steep. Good enough to sprain your ankle, though.

"Slide down, I'll catch you, I promise." the male spoke, the slide down was a good ten feet at an angle, you pick up quite a bit of speed but nothing too much. "Then you can bathe while I take some logs I saw back to the camp."

286009_20090628140052.jpg

Nodding as they left the camp, walking a good distance and eventually coming to the slope, the idea of a bath in mostly clean water sounded nice. Carefully stepping toward the steep grade, she eased her feet along the slippery ground. Jennifer felt safe in the fact that Marcus would catch her should she stumble, something Richard had failed to countless times over the course of her marriage, figuratively, at least. Although there was their wedding night when he'd dropped her on the floor while carrying her across the threshold, claiming she was "too heavy". More like he was a lazy prick. Her hope in it had been fading over the years, and it felt like this was the final straw. Her thoughts became cluttered with painful memories, with her son of a bitch husband as the source. But that's what happened when you married for money instead of love. There had been so many nice guys she could have gotten with, but no. In the end, it was her own fault.

Losing her focus, her feet slid out from under her, sending her headlong down the "trail", if it could be called that, but as promised, Jennifer ended up in Marcus' strong arms. Looking up at him ending up unharmed, she smiled, noticing her arms were around him as well. Blushing just a little she let go, and he did the same, reaching the bottom now. "Thanks.." She said with a soft breath, looking over at the pond of water with a waterfall pouring into it.

Smiling, she looked over at Marcus again. "I want to thank you again..for everything.." The woman murmured, extending her hand to his, shaking it lightly before withdrawing her own. She looked forward to a bath in the cool, clear spring.

RE: The man you love & the man he hates // SexyChick&Relix

The male said he'd catch her, so, thats exactly what he did; caught her. Jennifer went about daydreaming, thinking or whatever, slipped and slid down the path a bit.. faster then she should've. Marcus wasn't going to bicker about her slipping, because in the end, she was unharmed. No twists, no sprains, no broken bones. Marcus nodded in reply to her thanks, stepping back from her. Her next statement brought a light smile to his face, shaking it off quickly. "Don't mention it, Jennifer.." the male spoke, making visible marks in the brush and dirt to follow up back to camp. "I'm marking the way back, don't get lost.. survival skills are good, track skills aren't so good."

Turning back to face Jennifer, his brain fighting with himself over what he was about to say next. "Hey, Jen, uh," The male began, looking around the jungle before moving his eyes back to the undressing female. "If you need to talk, I'm all ears." Nodding lightly at the end of his statement, the male moved back up the trail, continuing to mark the way up.

Why did he say that? Why? What good did that do for him to offer his ears if she needed to gripe?

It would only prove to be troublesome for when, because he would, Richard found out about it. It was them three only, if she started talk to him; they'd grow distant from Richard. He'd know something is up, would accuse them of sleeping together - something he already has.

Marcus had been back at camp for an hour, Jennifer still away.. Richard passed out like a child. The male was building the first shelter, for Richard, it needed to be longer, not so high. Currently, he had it at ten feet by five feet. "Looking good so far..." The male spoke, digging two holes; the size of a balled up fist apart. Driving the first two logs into the dirt, burying the sand back into the holes.

A light sigh passed through his lips, the male made a small cord out of fresh tree bark. Wrapping the cord around the logs before tying them together. He'd wait to show Jennifer how to do the one they'd share together.

RE: The man you love & the man he hates // SexyChick&Relix

286009_20090628140052.jpg

Jennifer kept smiling to herself, Marcus' last words fresh in her memory, eternally burned into her memory. If you need to talk.. The words played over and over like a tape recording, bringing her mood up substantially, even from the smallest of kind of gestures from the younger man. Once he was well out of sight, the woman shed her sweatshirt and jeans first, then, feeling adventerous, her bikini came off and she dove into the spring completely nude. Feeling the cool, clear water wash away the dirt, sand, and any other filth that otherwise chose to cling to her body, she sighed contently to herself, treading water in one spot before swimming around the spring a good five times before settling in one spot. More than once she dove under and resurfaced, rinsing out her hair as well, which wasn't easy but she managed. Sitting up on a rock under the waterfall, she let the water wash her off completely before slipping back into the spring. It felt like paradise.

After maybe a half hour of bathing, taking the time to wash out her clothes as well, Jennifer, feeling quite refreshed got dressed, minus the jeans and sweatshirt. With the sun up in the sky, it was too hot to stay so covered. And she'd left her bikini wrap back at camp, as well as Marcus' shirt, her "pillow". Figuring it didn't matter, it was nothing he hadn't seen many times before, after all, she heaed back up the marked path he had made so she could find her way back to camp. After a few times going back and forth there would probably be no need to mark it. The steep slope was pretty recognizable, as long as you walked in the right direction.

Arriving back in a much better mood, she noticed that Marcus had already started on the first shelter for Richard. She thought it would be better to take care of them first and worry about her husband last, but it didn't really matter in the end. Shrugging to herself, Jennifer went and sat on a towel that had been laid out, keeping her distance from Richard, who for the moment remained asleep. "Need any help?" She offered, assuming he would ask sooner or later for it.

RE: The man you love & the man he hates // SexyChick&Relix

"Not at the moment," Marcus replied, shaking his head lightly. He was almost done with Richard's, then and only then, would he need her help. Should Richard awake and question them, Marcus will simply say that it was their shelters for the night; he'd be going to make his own down the way. Which, he did plan to do.. just kept that a minor secret from him and Jennifer. Marcus was respectful to their marriage, even if Jennifer was feeling the strain - that wasn't his key to swoop in and give her all the affection she needed so his anatomy could be played with. That just wasn't his goal, he needed to keep them alive - primarily himself. For him to being a relationship with a married woman would distract him from keeping them alive.

Shaking his head lightly, Stop thinking about that like you're God, Marcus. A light sigh passing through his lips, tightening the cord around the last two logs. Draping the brush he strung together over it. Leaves and fresh bark tied together, give them ample amount of coverage if, and when, it was to rain.

Moving toward the fire pit, the male stepped a good ten feet away, "Jennifer, come," The male called, dragging a few more pieces of log and cord he had made over to the destination he chose for them. They'd be covered from Richard, who'd be facing away from the fire. Just to reduce suspicions. Using his hands to dig a few holes, "Place those two logs in there, use the back one to stand at an angle toward the front log."

It didn't take long for him to show Jen what to do and her to get a hang of doing so. He kept quiet for the most part, Richard murmuring Jennifer's name in his sleep, often in a shout, causing their attention to snap toward Richard. "You did good, Jennifer." The male spoke, wiping his hands off on his shorts before heaving a small sigh. Stomach growling lightly, "Hungry?"
