"Of course I would rest here with you" Once that was said he started to lower the two of them back towards the bed, after all he was a little tired as well.
 
Sophia smiled at Seth and kissed his lips sweetly, laying on the bed next to her discarded clothes. Her arms were still around him and she was glad that she'd thought to give him a life of his own. It seemed as though he'd jumped at the chance. That he was unhappy in his old profession seemed to be fairly clear to her. "Thank you," she whispered. "For everything."
 
Seth was surprised to hear Sophia say such a thing, but it was pleasant to the ears. It was nice the way their bodies were so close, nearby their discarded clothes laid together whilst their bodies relaxed with each other on the bed. "I should be thanking you.. without your offer, I would have died that night... by the fall or by the assassin's board.. but you gave me a way out.. a new identity with the same name.. a new life.." It was hard to show his gratitude through words fully and so instead of speaking anymore his lips went onto hers softly kissing them before he just laid against her lightly speaking his lips near hers, his hot breath warming up her cheek a little "Can we stay together more often..?"
 
The raven-haired noble beneath him was already enamored with him. "I would like that," she said with a smile. She kissed his cheek softly, enjoying his closeness, glad for his warmth against her. "It is getting late. I'm sure the servants will be wondering where I am. Perhaps we should head back soon?"
 
Seth looked at Sophia, before starting to think about what she had said. ,"i think we will be ok laying here together for a little longer. After all you can easily explain that you got busy helping out with my house. . ." a soft smile appeared on his face before he lightly kissed her cheek. "i guess your right though they will probably start getting worried, just say when we are going back and i will be ready to safely escort you to our. . . I mean your house. Sorry i did not mean to say our house."
 
She smiled when he said it that way. "Well, you are staying there while you protect me. It's alright if you call it that when you're around me." She kissed him again. "We can stay for a little while longer before we go. I haven't felt this relaxed in a long time. Or this safe." Sophia hugged him to her and smiled. "Thank you, Seth. For everything."
 
Such a thing made perfect sense to Seth, and hearing that he relaxed a little. Hearing what came next though was a bit of a surprise and then he spoke in response "you should not be the one thanking me Sophia.. you gave me a new life.. therefor I am the one thanking you.. but I will gladly accept the thanks.."
 
"I'm sorry," she laughed. "I just can't stop saying it. I feel grateful to you for sparing my life and protecting me. Even for loving me. It's been such a long time since I've felt safe and longed for..." She hadn't felt such appreciation since before her father died, let alone her brother's funeral. "I'm so relieved when you're around that I can't help it. I have to thank you." She smiled and tucked her head under his chin, just resting there.
 
The smile did not leave his face, after all he had plenty to be happy about. A new life.. a new love, a hobby.. all three had happened because he took up a contract that he decided could not be completed. "I understand,.. i guess we can both agree we both have things to be thankful towards each other... but above all.. I enjoy your company and am glad you decided to show me my house that I have close by.. but I have no intention of moving out ... unless your coming with me.."
 
She smiled and snuggled closer into him, glad that she'd have him near at all times. "Good. I'd miss you if you did."
 
Slowly Seth ran his hand through the nobles hair feeling it glide through his fingers before his finger tips left her soft silky hair. "I think i can officially say I love you Sophia... and I am rather proud that i am the one that gets to protect you.. and be with you for however long amount of time you will allow me to.." He was always worried that when she was not in danger anymore that he would be pushed away .. some people had used him before, and so he was quite weary and cautious about not letting it happen again.
 
Sophia stared into his eyes, feeling truly cherished as he ran his fingers through her hair. She watched his face as he told her how he felt. It only made her want to keep him closer to her. As close as she possibly could. "As long as you love me, as long as you want to protect me, you'll stay by my side." Her lips kissed him gently and she pulled away. "I love you too, Seth, and I don't want to be without you."
 
His eyes just looked within hers, as he continued just to lay against her "I promise you,.. i will always be with you.. and I know this love i feel is something strong.. something that will last Sophia" what followed was a soft kiss again before Seth just lightly rested against her. "We will probably have to tell the servants and what not.. that something is going on between us eventually.. after all i am sure they will get suspicious be able to work out what is going on.."
