I used to wash my hands in gasoline after my mom would force me to help her paint the house. It strips off paint nicely.
 
If I may make a suggestion... I've actually found a really good way to get paints, grease, oil, etc off of your fingers! : 3

All you have to do is get a shop towel (Or many regular paper towels), and then coat the towel with liquid soap. Don't use water, and just rub the towel against your hands, and it will easily wipe off. Water only makes it harder. -Nod- -Nod-
