Re: Home is where the Black is (Anansi and Sorrow.)
The security was dealt with and Hawk took her and Xeno's things from the hotel, leaving to Tobias's rickety shuttle. The woman shook her head as she slumped into a seat while her brother readied his med-bag "How many times have I told ye to trade this piece av go-se in?" she asked, voice fully slurred now as she watched her brother prepare a syringe. "And how many times have I told ye to pick up ye're life as an artist again instead av a smuggler?" he asked levelly and injected the antidote in the woman's arm. She smiled faintly "About as many times as I talk about ye're shuttle. Thanks Tobias, I need to get out av here, Xeno's gone." she added, eyes hard as she stood carefully. The older man frowned "Ye sure ye want to do this?" he asked, regretting the question once she glared at him and he smiled ruefully. "Av course ye do." he asked, answering his own question standing and stepping forwards to hug the woman. "Be careful, I'll stay on planet, just in case." he promised and Hawk hugged him tightly, "Thanks." she stated simply, realizing how much she missed her family, leaving the shuttle. It took a handful of minutes to get back to her ship and start up the shuttle, making sure she was fully armed before heading out at full speed to the other side of the planet.
"Things need not have happened to be true. Tales and dreams are the shadow-truths that will endure when mere facts are dust and ashes, and forgot."
