She stood silently atop the roof of a building, looking out over the little city. The night was dark and the sky moonless, making her invisible to all but the most well-trained eyes. Even to those she would seem to be no more than a mere shadow. She had been watching this man for weeks now, carefully plotting out the routes he traveled, searching for a pattern. Just last night she had finally found that route..he took it every night around this time as he headed home from work. A few hours of planning had her standing here, her black cloak pulled around her shoulders. Her sword was buckled in place and her daggers were loose in their holders, ready to be pulled out in a moment's notice. Pale blue eyes looked to the ground below as she crouched down, waiting for her target to come by.

It was almost time....

** the target was a trader, known as Caius. He had been doing business with all the kinds of people which were banned by the Church. Caius had probably done some businesses which were not pleasant for the other parties (witches, excomungated etc) and enforcement was guaranteed, since he was a former member of the Templar Order - his companions would tackle the case when any one decides not to honnour the obligation. His past also explains why he is strong and a sword master.
** Caius closed the door of his banca in central Müchen. Autumn was approaching and the nighty was particularly misty on the ground. Hie took his small dagger, blessed in Jerusalem, and walked downd the street towards his home.

Just on time....

As he walked past the building she was perched on top of, a large gray wolf stepped out of the alley between two buildings, walking right into his path. He turned, sapphire eyes locking on to him as he snarled.

** Caius found strange that a wold was inside the walls. Anyway, he knew how to hurt a wolf, although he could not see it. He stepped back and took some bacon he ws taking and threw it in the other side of the street. The wolf was probably after food and now he had some. At the same time, he changed his path and turned right into a small alley, which would lead him to a small tavern, where he could drink some beer and have some bacon.

She cursed softly-he went the wrong way. Angel dropped down onto the ground, following the man to the inn, the wolf at her heels.

** Caius entered the tavern and ordered beer and bacon. Swiftly, one gorgeous red-headed girl approached him bringing some food and whispered kind words... she was a whore and knew he was a good client. He was uncertain whether to accept her invitation. Then, he began to eat and drink listening to the happy song which was been sung and played by four musicians...

She slipped in quietly and moved to an empty corner, those pale blue eyes looking out from beneath the hood of her cloak. The wolf sat at her feet, growling at anyone who approached them. Angel was waiting for him to either leave, or rent a room for the night.

** Caius noticed nothing following him. After some twenty, he ceded to the gorgeous girls sitting next to him, grabbed her hands and walked upstairs to one of the rooms for rental available. Then, he opened the door and lite the candles - then, he invited the girl to enter. From the room, he could listen to the noise coming from the tavern...

Angel followed, making sure to keep some distance between them. She paid for the room next to his, then slowly made her way up to it.

** after some time inside the room, one could listen the girl moaning in pleasure and Caius breathign deepling and having a good time with her... the noises continued for about 20 minutes and then they ceased... only the noises coming from the tavern were audible then....

Once the room was silent, Angel stood from her spot on the bed. She stepped out of the room and over to the door of the room he was in. It took Angel only a few minutes to successfully pick the lock. The door was open for only a second as she slipped through, her wolf waiting patiently outside as the door was closed. She slipped into the darkest corner of the room, looking at her target.

** The "target" heard a nearly inaudible sound and when turned to the other side of the bed, he had the impression of having seen it closing swiftly. He pretended to sleep as he apparently without intention slided his hand to his small dagger next to him in the bed...he breathed calmly. He knew he was a potential target, since many strange people disliked him. Who would be the enemy?
** after some seconds, the gorgeous girl stood up and looked around for her robe. He went to it which had fallen near the old wardrobe ...

She was there, waiting for him. As he stepped closer to retrieve the robe, she lunged, knocking him to the ground. Angel pinned him, quickly pressing a small dagger to his throat.

** As the gorgeous girls (compared to Angel, she was not that gorgeous) noticed what was happening, the whore panicked and rushed out of the room. Although Julius was not a very good warrior, he had learned something when he fought Muslims in Jerusalem.
** Julius swifly kicked her crotch and grabbed her her, avoiding her to cut him... he pulled her back in order to stand up again...

There was a hiss from Angel, and the wolf jumped on the man, knocking him to the ground as Angel darted out the door. He growled at Julius. then raced out after the assassin.

** Julius knew someone would come after him, but not so fast, not in the dark, not so cowardly.
"Wait, dont go! I want to talk to you!", Julius stood and said. "I will not hurt you"...

She was already out of the inn, swiftly making her way down a long, dark alley. The wolf ran ahead of her.

** half-naked, Julius runs after her and sees her body moving alog the alley. He runs as fast as he can and grabs her left shoulder with his righ hand - the other was still holding the dagger. "Stop, please!"
** Before she could react, he pulls her back, causing her to loose the balance and allowing him to approach her more easily.

Angel hissed as she felt the man grab her shoulder. She spun around quickly as he pulled her, throwing her body completely off balance and causing her to fall. The wolf turned and ran over, moving between her and the man, growling.

** Julius placed his dagger in a protective way. The girl was probably a witch - no one could control a wild wolf like that.
** Julius stepped back. Slowly, candles began to be lite as the confusion was great in the alley. Then, Julius, who was very curious about who had ordered his death, offered the assassin his hand: "Come, I will not hurt you!"

She struggled to her feet, slowly backing away. The wolf stayed between them, growling. Suddenly, Angel bumped into something. She spun around quickly, only to be lifted off her feet by a man, clad in black and red robes.

"You failed...again! Now I guess I will have to kill him myself, since you are too incompetent to do that." He threw her a few feet, smirking as she landed hard on her back.

** Julius got surprised with the man appearing all of sudden. He tried to move to the girl but the wolf growled in a threatening way. Now, it was clear the wold was somehow connected not only to the girl, but also to the man...
"Who are you?" Julius questioned without expecting an answer - he was the one who had sent her. Swiftly, Julius took his besta and throw an arrow towards the man... now his main concern was no longer the girl but the man...

He let out a snake-like hiss as the arrow hit his arm. He spun to glare at the lady. "I'll deal with YOU later!" With that, he disappeared. The wolf moved over to her, whimpering and nudging her gently.

** Julius had already seen many bizarre things but that hiss was one of the most. Not even the curses used by the Muslims when he was in the holy land were so frightening.
** Then, Julius turned to the misterious girl sided by the misterious wolf..."So, are yo well? I want to know who that one was..."
