"Alright then. It looks like we're going to have to do a little cleaning up here, bud..." Said Soren, reaching for his large blade and glancing at his partner. "Six a piece... that should work right?" He turned and glared at the dozen pirates standing before them, behind his back were and older couple, important people that needed to get off the country. It was Soren's job to make sure those pirates didn't kill them.

"Six a piece will be fine," Seth replied to his partner. He shouldered a short spear, like Soren, Seth was also a hired guard for the elder couple. "Yeah six should be fine for a nice warm-up," he replied. His remark angering one of the pirates who unwittingly rushed forward. Before anyone, except maybe Soren, could take notice there was a flash of metal and the pirate yelped before falling to the deck in a pool of blood. The curved blade of Seth's spear was stained in the crimson color.

Soren burst into laughter. "Fuck yeah! Let's burn this bitch!" The elders behind him were remotely frightened for their lives and considered surrendering to the pirates. Soren raced towards his unfortunate six, trampling the one Seth just cut down. Pirates were dangerous people, unorganized, crude and horrible negotiators. Soren took two at once, lifting his weapon to block straight thrusts and using his arms and hips to deflect their weapons away. In one vile hack one and a half men were tossed up. A blood covered pair of legs remained standing for a few seconds before fall back by default.

It was apparent the two partners, despite being a successful duo, where different. Seth was quick, composed and used energy wisely. Soren was brute strength, at times really loud, and wasted energy, but he had plenty of stamina to spare. Seth spun the spear in his hand. Two pirates, who seemed rather frightened by Sorens remark, came at him half heatedly. "You wont be any sport unless you have the intent to kill....like this!" his short spear came down, the unlucky pirate howled in pain as his swod arm was cut off, but the noise was silenced as his head soon joined the arm on the deck.

Soren ran towards his foes and grabbed one pirate's head under each of his arms. As the others tried to prick him with spears and blades, Soren used his hostages as shields, one dying thanks to a spear to the lung. Soren grabbed the spear and pulled it, smashing his forehead into his opponent's, caving in his nose completely. He turned, grabbing the spear which had killed a pirate and was also being held by a half dead pirate, and hurled the mess into the fourth and final attacker. Now still with a groggy, bleeding pirate under his arm, Soren looked over at Seth, watching his artwork, reaching into the pirates mouth and pulling down his jaw to the point of detatchment.

A quick lung with his weapon and he took out the fallen pirates comrade."Three left," he said, deciding to make it quick, he was getting rather bored, he quickly impaled one through the chest, kicking a second in the head before withdrawing his spear and cutting him down the middle. The second pirate was not dead, only fataly wounded, in a sig of mercy though Seth simply cut his throat.

Soren ran over and grabbed on of Seth's shoulders tightly. The man was capable of crushing bones under skin with small effort. He was also spontaneous, which made it extremely hard for anyone to work with him, except Seth. "That was a great drill eh?" He looked over at the elders, quite taken back by the gore surrounding them. "I believe that's your boat right there ain't it?" He pointed back at the docked boat with his thumb. "You sure you don't want Seth and I to take the boat with ya... those pirates could creep up again."

"NO!! I mean, no no... it's alright. Plus, you two are very expensive, we cannot afford you."

Soren let go of Seth's shoulder and sighed. "Yeah, no money, no blades. Pay us our commission."

The old man frowned and tossed Soren a small cloth bag, and started to board the boat.

As Soren "Negotiated" Seth made it his task to kick the bodied off the peer and into the ocean. "Food for fishes," he said though the pools of blood from the fighting still made it seem ike a warzone, only the absense of bodies made it seem all the more queer.

"Well how much did we make this time?"he asked his partner waiting to see if Soren had finished counting the contents of the sack.

"Eighty-two pieces each. Not bad for twelve dead pirates. I know it seems out of this world... but they should really turn pieces into paper. Then it can just be stuffed into pockets or something..." His eyes narrowed, glancing at Seth, tossing him his share which he left in the bag.

"I agree," he sai catching his share. "Then maybe it would sink to the depths of the ocean either when a ship goes under," though the idea of paper currency was rather farfetched in itself as well.

"Yeah. So I guess we should look to settle at the closest inn? Start hunting for our next stunt after a little female entertainment..." Soren smirked. "God knows what a girl would do for a piece, and you got more than enough of them." Soren turned to look at the most nearby village. "Its about a three mile walk."

Seth nodded "I like the idea lets get going," he said. He wiped his spear off and holstered it onto his back. He tied the sack to his belt to keep it close and waited for Soren to lead the way.

Soren started to lead the way, a dry wind blowing hard over their faces. The walk back was unusually silent. Soren was attracted to Seth so badly, yet he knew that Seth was into women, gorgeous ones. If only he could kiss him in this dry breeze, their lips wouldn't be so dried. "This wind's going to ruin my damn hair." That was the only thing he could say. The thoughts he had with Seth were unspeakable.

Among most people Seth knew his partner the most. He however was a bit obvlivious to his partners orientation. He never noticed when ever Soren was thinking about him in such a way. Or he just didnt realize it. Soren was always on about girls, and acted as a guy who wanted nothing but girls,though at times it did seem a bit overeager, it never came across to Seth as just being a cover up. Seth laughed "You slaughter and kill...yet you worry about your hair?" he asked, it was a bit amusing to him.

"Ha! On a good day, I'll have my hair ready in an hour...bullshit dried up days like today, I'd need two." After the lengthy walk, Soren arrived at the small town as his eyes scoped out the poor, barely standing neighborhood. The small town was slightly contested in it's own right, the people seeming cheerful enough. They certainly weren't depressed as they tried to make their money to survive. Soren sighed and looked towards an inn, which was right by a bar, which was also a place of entertainment in the darker hours of the night. There were several stores, and a messenger bird booth, something required in almost every town to keep news current and important messages sent. "Fucking, eating, sleeping or finding our next job... which is more important to you?"

"Despite the longing for the first...the second should be done," fighting used up to much energy. If you could cal what they had done a fight. He was tired though, the pleasures of female company would have to wait until after he was satisfied. "Though don't let me stop you my friend," he said thinking that Soren would be all the more eager to get down to the dirty bussiness first.

Soren started to laugh hesitantly. "Heh... you know it.... C'mon let's go to the damn inn..." Soren wasn't carrying anything except his sword, his gear and his bag of coin. It was the best possible life for him. He couldn't see himself settling down with a woman, he didn't even want to live in the same place for more than two years at a time. When they finally arrived at the town, most of the bystanders watched them carefully. They were easy to define as swords for hire, it was all over their clothing and their style of uncaring outsiders.

Seth laughed with his friend as they made there way. At times it was just to eas to find work, expecially with everyone staring at you They should just carry around a sash that said they where wlling to do any sort of job from escort, to assasinations. "Well....looks like we are somewhat of a specticle," he stated.

Soren laughed. "Yeha, they haven't even seen our dicks yet." He said intentionally as they passed a small church.

The two got into the inn and looked over at the keeper, who was not happy exactly to see them.

"Good day sirs... are you two looking to stay tonight?"

Soren glared at him. "Yeah. We need somewhere to sleep and fuck a few girls tonight. Got any rooms, old man?"

"I only, have one, one room two beds."

Soren continue to stare at the old man. "Really now... just one? How about daughters... you got any of em?"

The old man swallowed.

Soren continued to stare at him until a young girl entered, maybe 11 years of age, and started posting bounties on the innkeepers wall.

The innkeeper quickly yelled at her to leave, but the girl smiled and ran out on her barefeet after posting several wanted kills.

Seth let Soren do the talking, he liked to see the reaction people gave from his rather crude sense of negotiating. His eyes however dated to the young girl before they went up to the anted posters. He made a mental note to check those out though. (Sorry really no idea what to say)

"Very well. We'll do that." He said, turning around towards Seth and grinning. "Let's check out those bounties." There were already other people looking at them. You pick it off, it your kill. Being in the bounty and mercenary business was cold as it was amazing. "Hurry up man, let's get a bounty before these fuckers take our loot."

Seth placed two coins on the tabl before going over to the wall and taking off one of the posters. He looked at it before going to Soren. "Well what do you think?" he asked, unless Soren also agreed it was worth doing then he would also comply. Though it was a fairly nice reward.

"Yeah...not to mention it's rare we get t handle such a dangerous, yet attractive bounty," he said to his friend. Of course they rarely ever went up against magicians of any sort, but well he was sure with some self control they could manage, and the pay would keep them fed and entertained for many months.

"That's it then. We have to take it. Just look at the bounty. I say we capture her... fuck her... cash her in... then steal her back to fuck her some more. Maybe sell the staff... We won't have to hunt out for a couple months at least. It sounds pretty good. Plus we won't need to pay for women, since we'd have a magic girl to play with. The poster said something about heading towards the rockroad. Let's rest tonight... fuck some girls... and eat. Then we go."
