                                                • The galloping of feet were heard. The cries of horses echoed through the valley of the thick wood. The Entire forest circumvented the legendary King Ulos's realm. The woods spreader for miles and miles. Given a birds view one would see nothing but a sea of green. Several huntsmen appeared in the clearing. They carried axes, bows and arrows and knives. The were on the hunt again. To search for the great whit beast that had escaped them so many moons ago.

"Let's go, there are none here. You can tell, look!" The young hunter pointed to the rotting wood of a tree. "The forest is dieing a forest with them in it would be sprouting life not death." He noted looking to his comrades for a concord. The shortest hunter agreed. " There are not even the sound of animals or the hint of deer in this region. The boy is right let's go we will find no game to hunt here." Turning his horse around he was off back down the path, the others following.

"Perhaps we really have hunted them all.." Said the young hunter and soon he left the forest. The sun began to settle in the eastern sky and soon the moon and stars blanketed the quiet kingdom. Nothing, but thieves and woodsman dwelled in this forest now. However there was still life, something the hunters had overlooked. Rabbits, birds, and bees still continued they daily works for the knew that as long as one unicorn was left in the world there would always be hope and soon maybe other would come. Not matter how far away they were.

She stood there in the pale moon, her snow white coat shining like a star from the heavens. One long horn spiraling from her forehead. She had heard them that day. What they said. Could she truly be the last? No, she didn't believe it. Alone as she was she knew there had to be others out there, hiding and perhaps waiting on her to join them. She looked at her reflection in the crystal pond. She was saddened at the thought and only wondered why and what to do. Galloping silently towards the edge of the woods she found the path.

                                                  Am I truly the last?

Looking back she took another glance at her only home. Promising that she would return, but only if she discovered what happened to the other unicorns and hopefully she would find one. At least one other. No matter how long it would take.[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]
