Harry Potter - Notable Creations

This thread is for all of us to use as a reference since it is here that we should post any and all notable things we create within the group RP. These notables can be locations (ie, cities, buildings, etc), specific items or goods, various technology, etc. But basically it will be things we all create as we go that should be noted in case we need to mention it in any subsequent posts.

The Lost Souls

'The Lost Souls' are a type of ghost that devour the souls of the living until they, the living, are fully extinguished. Once the body is devoid of their soul, 'the lost soul' occupies it for a time, but the time is typically short usually only lasting a few days. Once they leave, they are hungrier than they were before their previous soul-devouring, making them more dangerous. Thus each feeding causes them to crave more and more and yearn to occupy a host body more and more.

This particular spirit is known to reside in The Haunted Forest that is located just west of the castle of Hogwarts University. Due to the danger that they impose, a barrier charm has been put into place between the forest's edge and the castle property so as to keep them from crossing onto the grounds or into the castle itself.

Rapberry Swirl

Rapberry Swirl is a restaurant/bar/club/stripper joint located in downtown Hogsdale. The food is supposedly very good and the drinks are considered to be of very high quality. The women who work there--be they waitresses, dancers or strippers--are strategically chosen by the manager. Thus, they are beautiful by his standards and all have a clean bill of health and are also clearly chosen to lure in and maximize the clientele that might go there so that he can maximize his profits. The manager himself, a middle-aged wizard by the name of Thomas Thistledown, is a bit of an arrogant prick and works his staff fairly hard since he is looking out for himself and his business more than anything else. Thus he has a tendency to try and overwork his staff. But in his mind, they all get tips and should be grateful for what he offers them. He can also be a bit touchy-feely at times.
