Finally, a normal job had rolled around. Normal for Aria Iversen was not ‘normal’ to most of the population. Her job tonight was to be a date for a charity ball thrown by some of the richest companies in town. It was an incredible chance to network, not that Aria could bring herself to care too much about that aspect of the evening. Unknown to her family; this young lady had been working as a high class escort for years. It wasn’t as glamorous as some may assume; like every job, it had it’s perks and its downfalls. Unfortunately for Aria, she’d run into one of the downfalls of her job several weeks ago. It was the only time she’d turned down an appointment. There was no way she wished to put herself into that situation again. Ever since it had happened, Aria had been exceedingly weary, which was understandable.

Thankfully, it seemed that all he wanted her for tonight was for a date. He didn’t request extras, and she didn’t feel like providing them. The man was about fifty, thick black hair that was surprisingly void of grey, and rather heavy set. So much so that her standing by his side would almost show her form as anorexic despite the woman having a rather petite, curved form. After years of experience, Aria knew better than to expect to be hired by strapping businessmen in their prime; however, it would be a nice break. Her profession had started out of desperation, seven years later it ended up being a way of life. Aria made a good, comfortable living, she just didn’t enjoy her job, not anymore.

Considering the status of the ball, Aria knew it was time to take out the credit card and invest in her date. After all, that’s what they paid her for. To look beautiful, stunning even, dressed in exceptional clothes with not a hair out of place. After so many years, it had almost become effortless for her. So she began the day as usual, she had her hair cut and blow dried into long, loose curls. Her nails had been trimmed and painted to a perfect French manicure. And of course, she’d had the dress she’d picked out in the store resting against her cupboard, just waiting for her to slip into it.

Once the evening came around, Aria slipped into the dress with ease. The lace slipped up over her sun kissed skin with ease. Black lace covered her shoulders, small strips broadened into a span of lace around the swell of her breasts. Thankfully, the dress had two layers. One of which was a slip of skin toned silk that concealed her body considering the lace was almost see through. The lace spanned down her rather short frame of five foot five, cupping her ample mounds and clearly displaying the curve of her hourglass figure. Unlike most women in her profession, Aria didn’t think she needed to lose weight. Her body was toned, sure, she was by no means skinny; but it seemed to work. She was certain it was a good selling point.

Finally, she finished dressing and slipped on a pair of black stilettos to match the black lace that trailed down around her feet. Aria certainly looked the part, her lashes were painted in dark, smoky tones paired with a pair of lush, crimson lips; which made her luminescent emerald hues beam more than usual. Fortunately for her, the ruby nestled in her navel piercing was well hidden, most likely the only part of her body that was truly hidden.

Later that evening, Aria arrived at the ball with her date. They stepped out of his Bentley like a true couple, arm in arm. The mere thought made the blonde cringe, yet she remained composed and elegant, she was a professional after all. The ball was being held in the city, from what Aria could see the building was once a hall of great importance, hinted by the grand design of six large pillars supporting the front of the building. It was grand, almost a glistening white in the current lighting from the street. Photographers gathered around, luckily, she had managed to slip inside without so much as a peep. Arriving early had its perks.

Almost immediately, Aria was in awe. A grand staircase greeted them at the end of the entrance hall, it spanned over a great distance, leading down into the event room for that evening. The oversized hall was decorated with glistening golden chandeliers and glistening white tablecloths. It was one of the most beautiful places she’d been to. The female breezed down the steps with ease, despite her arm linked with her date, who seemed to have to gaze over his stomach to predict the next step. Once they reached the white marble floor, Aria began to lead her date toward the tables. “Shall I fetch us some drinks?” He was no stranger to her; she knew exactly how he liked to be treated, to be taken care of. With a confirmation in the form of a nod, Aria soon disappeared to find some champagne.

Soon enough, the hall became flooded with well dressed people. Some old, some in the prime of their careers. It all seemed like a show, a façade. Part of her enjoyed the beauty of the night, then she was reminded of the situation she was in, and her happiness soon drifted back into the darkness. Once music began to play from the band seated in the centre of the hall, Aria rose to her feet. “Shall we dance?” Her date reluctantly stood, following the younger woman’s lead as she linked her arm in his and began to make her way toward the bustle of dancing couples.

“You look beautiful tonight.” His words were somewhat appreciated, in the capacity that she knew she was doing her job. “Thank you, David. You’re not so shabby yourself.” Aria murmured back softly, offering him a playful turn of her lips as she began to sway to the music. Her hips rolled and turned, her lace extension began sway with her movements. It was when she finally eased closer for David to place his hands onto her hips that she noticed a familiar face in the crowd. Marcus.

There had been one job she enjoyed; one she didn’t wish to end. Not because she felt something for him, oh no, it wasn’t that deep. It was simply, the job. He was handsome, incredibly so. Not only was he handsome, but there was something about him. Maybe it was the way he carried himself, on his feet or in the bedroom; both, possibly. He was the one client she’d enjoyed. Not only was he seemingly a great package, he knew exactly how to touch her. Aria was confused as to why he’d hired her, a man like that was intensely sought after. The blonde could recall the way he forced his way into her, the way he caused her body to ache with need. The most arousing thing wasn’t how good it felt, it was the way in which he did it. There were no reservations, no hindrances or shyness to contend with. It felt as if it just worked perfectly.

Once she’d given David a well needed work out, he promptly made his way back to their table, which was now brimming with guests. Once Aria was satisfied that he was distracted, the female took off on her heel as she gripped her gown lightly in her hands, lifting the trail of lace from her path as she sought out the man she’d seen. The blonde may have appeared somewhat rushed, breezing past people in a quick succession of steps; she was there on business after all, it wasn’t permitted for her to be seeking out anyone but her date.

Finally, she saw him. Without a care in the world, the female began to stride toward him. Her gate was confident, determined even. Aria didn’t care for his date, if he had one, or anyone who was currently speaking to him. All she wanted was to have his attention, his full focus. “You know, I’m a little disappointed that you didn’t book me for tonight,” Her soft tone breezed up toward him as the female stopped one step behind him, she made certain that her tone was soft enough that it would just be between them. Aria hadn’t informed her previous client of how much she’d enjoyed her time with him; but she was certain he knew due to their intimate time together.

“You know, I’m free later tonight, if you can afford it.” Her large emerald hues glistened up toward him for a moment. There was almost a hint of need in her eyes; she couldn’t deny she’d been waiting to hear from her boss that he’d called for her, yet, it hadn’t come. A sly smirk began to touch her lips as she thought of their previous encounters. “Well, you have my number. I have someone waiting on me.” The female didn’t even give him a chance to respond before she began to walk back through the dancing crowd.
