I wish I was Married (With celebstars)

There was very little that David hated as much as having to attend another one of his friend's weddings. It was always a telling reminder that he himself had yet to find a woman to marry. What's more, it usually meant traveling, and spending more money on a gift he swore that the 'happy couple' would never end up using. Had James not been one of his oldest friends, David probably would have just ditched and sent a gift without ever going. But he decided to just go ahead and fly out to Vegas and endure the weekend.

"Who even get's married in Vegas unless they just fall in love in one night?" David thought to himself as he exited his hotel suite and made his way to where the wedding was taking place. Soon, he found himself seated and enduring a ceremony that he swore took two hours. As soon as the wedding was over, he made a b line right to the bar and began drinking. He would need the courage to go through this all. Unless something interesting happened.

David was a man of thirty six years. His dark brown hair was kept short and styles to his left side. His face was clean shaven, but often he kept a few days of stubble. He wore a black suit and black tie. Sipping his scotch, he looked around the room and wondered if he could meet someone while he was in Vegas.

As Sammy sat down during the ceremony, she couldn't help but look around and see so many couples together. Women leaning on men''s shoulders, arms hanging around the back of others. Looking down to the floor, she felt awkward and a little saddened that she was alone. When the happy couple kissed to mark the start of their marriage, a tear fell from Sammy's eye which she could easily have been disguised as a tear of joy.

Afterwards, everyone made their way to the bar, a large venue with a dance hall, food stalls and play area for the kids. The blonde hottie was on a stool sitting at the back of the bar, very well hidden apart from a mirror behind her which reflected her towards the other members. Wearing a slim red red, she looked elegant and certainly appealing. The only trouble with her was that she was more of prize than a keeper, being bedded and then dumped aside.

With a beer in front of her, a finger twirled and circled the rim of the bottle as she rested on her other hand, elbow up on the bar supporting her weight. Looking slumped, she sat up and took a sip of the liquid.

David was sitting at the bar (which thank god the bride's father was paying for), when out of the corner of his eye he noticed the blonde there, nursing her beer. It was a curious sight, someone of her beauty without someone there to entertain her. He noticed no ring on her finger, so she was unmarried. But single? That was another question entirely. Resolving to find out, he got up and approached her. "Do you mind if I sit down?" He asked, his voice being distinctly American but with a hint of a southern accent that he mostly ditched during college.

Sitting next to the blonde, he extended a hand and smiled. "I'm David, James and I use to work together." he revealed. Sipping his drink, he eyed her beer and smiled. "Interesting choice of drink, not what I'd have expected." David said with a apprising grin. "Usually most women prefer wine, or something more fruity."

Curious as to who she was and what kind of person she was, David settled in and was determined not to move until he at least knew her name and whether or not she was single.

As she sipped her drink, she saw a man approach her out of the corner of her eye. "Sure, whatever" she sighed with a huff and a blow of her cheeks. With both elbows on the solid oak bar which had an appealing shine to it, Sammy took his hand in hers, shaking it warmly. It felt a little rough, and it was larger than her own.

"I'm Sammy, well Samantha, but just call me Sammy. I used to go to school with Abbey, remained friends ever since." Looking to her drink, she raised her eyebrows. "I guess I am not most women." There was a certain tone to her voice, almost something rebellious with a hint of attitude.

Looking depressed, she saw the bartender and ordered another beer, sliding the empty bottle she finished towards him.

"Sammy," the man said with a smile. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you. I was hoping that this trip wouldn't be a total lose, and I'm already feeling a bit better." Noticing her expression, and the way she already ordered another beer, David wondered what was troubling her. "Something a mater?" he asked with a friendly expression, his eyes wandering over her. Sammy was quite a beautiful woman, and he had always had a fondness for cute blondes.

"So are you a friend of the bride's?" he asked casually, sipping his drink. "James and I use to work together back when we were just starting out. But now, he's got that job at SpaceX, and I moved off to other things. What about you?"

Tipping the bartender, David looked at Sammy with curious eyes. "She's beautiful." he thought to himself. "How is a woman like this single? Hmmm. I wonder...."

"I did just say she was my friend at school. Unless there is another Abbey here?" Having been with the bride at school together. "Sorry, I don't mean to be rude towards you. I just hate weddings now. Like I will ever get married. All guys ever want is to have a shag and then they no longer have interest." Her English accent was divine, especially with the hint of a northerner in it which most Americans had never heard of.

Crossing her leg over the other, the dress rode up a little while she sat up straight, brushing some long hair behind her ear. "I'm a nurse. What other things did you move on to?" Turning her head she now focused on David as her new beer was handed to her.

"Everyone looks like they are having a good time!" Sammy commented as a loud laughter came from the dance floor with someone falling over.

"oh...you did mention it." He deadpanned, his face showing a bit of embarrassment at his slip up. "Sorry, I guess my mind was more preoccupied with looking at you and I didn't really hear you. You're quite beautiful Sammy, just so you know." Trying to be smooth because of his slip up, David wanted to seem interesting to her and not awkward.

"I know what you mean." he responded with a smile. "Marriage seems appealing to me because I wouldn't have to worry about winning anyone over day in and out. There would be just one woman to forever dote on."

"I'm an aerospace engineer for Boeing." David replied in his best non smug tone. "They hired me after a few years back and no I live in Colorado Springs making some good money."

Seeing how her eyes watched the dance floor, David decided to make a move. "Why don't we go dance?" he suggested. "I'm not but so good, but I promise not to trip."

"Wow that seems really tough? Well you would have to be very smart to do something like that." Nodding her head gently, her fingers ran up and down the neck of the beer she was given, droplets of water forming on the side as it was cold. "Dance? Umm yeah sure."

Walking over to the dance floor Sammy stopped by some old couple who had been married for over fifty years. Turning her back on them to face David to see if he was following behind her, the blonde was caught unexpectedly by a teen boy around the age of sixteen who was trying his luck with her.

"Can I dance with you?" He asked, his hands reaching out to her waist. "Maybe when you are older" Sammy said politely with a chuckle. "I am going to dance with this man coming. Sorry." Just then, the music changed to something rather fast, which the older couple weren't to happy about.

"I'm smart enough." David replied with a laugh. His eyes lit up as she agreed, and he was soon following behind her out onto the dance floor. The song was slow, and he had every intention of getting close and intimate with her. Walking along, he stifled a laugh at the young man asking for a dance of his own. "I'm sure there are other cute girls who will dance will you pal." he joked as the kid walked of.

Stepping in front of Sammy, he was about to place his hands on her hips when the song changed to a more fast passed and aggressive one. "Now this is interesting." he laughed , looking at the older couple who were grumbling a bit. Looking back to Sammy he shrugged.

"We'll just make the most of it!" he said with a laugh, putting his hands on her hips and starting to dance. Though he was a bit awkward at faster passed dances.

"Oh you don't like this type of music?" She asked with a smile, rocking her head to the beat of the song, her blonde hair being thrown from shoulder to shoulder as it was getting a little messy behind her. Biting her bottom lip, she felt his hands on her hips but she took them off. Turning around so her back was to him, she placed his firm palms back on to her waist.

Swaying hips and quick feet soon followed as the young couples stayed on the floor. The old couple were still moaning about the song change, with the woman having to calm her husband.

The teen boy stared in awe at Sammy as she danced in a sexy way, maybe all them beers were finally taking their toll on the woman to finally enjoy herself.

David smirked. It wasn't so much that he didn't like that type of music, more that he wanted a slower song for something more intimate. But as soon as she spun around, he suddenly forgot all of his objections. "Nope, I'm good." he replied with a laugh as his hands held her lower waist, finger tips digging in just a bit.

Without thinking much of it, David pressed against her, holding Sammy tight in his arms as they swayed together to the music. He wanted to lean in and rest his face on her neck, but wasn't sure if that was him or the three glasses of scotch that he'd had.

The way Sammy moved!! Her hips were so mesmerizing to David. He didn't want to let her leave his side. So as the a third song wrapped up, he smirked and whispered in her ear. "How about we take a break and get another drink?" He suggested. "But I'm not done dancing with you yet. In fact, your mine for the night."

After all the dancing they did, or more what she did as he just held on to her, Sammy was sweating. Nothing drastic, she wasn't drenched, but a little few beads trickled across her forehead. "Phew!" She huffed, running a hand through her hair and pouting her lips before she agreed with a smile. "I could have some more beer, ice cold!"

Going back to the their seats at the bar, the bartender offered her a drink right away. "Thanks!"

"I'm yours for the night? I don't think so. I got a flight in the morning. This will probably be my last drink!" Revealing her plans, she wasn't going to be over here for long it seemed, scuppering any ideas the gentleman might of had.

Going back to the bar with the beautiful blonde, David ordered another glass of scotch and slid up next to Sammy once more. After just a few minutes knowing her, he was already feeling drawn to her. She was nice to look at, a bit sassy, and they both wanted to be married. So naturally he frowned at the news she had a flight back home in the morning.

"Ah, well then I better make good use of my time with you then." he laughed, sipping her drink. As soon as her's was empty, he ordered her another, and was soon on another himself.

Without thinking about it, his hand came to rest on her knee, his thumb rubbing it softly. "No way I can convince you to stay in the country for a bit longer?" he said, half joking half serious. "I do build airplanes, I'm sure I can get you back home."

She was a bit tipsy by the time he ordered her another drink. With the drinks she had earlier on her own accompanied by the ones now, the blonde was a little unbalanced as he placed hand on her knee. She actually believed it was to stop her from falling back. "Thank you" her hand went atop of his as she smiled eagerly. Such a great smile.

"I can't stay longer. I won't have the money to book a new ticket." Her hand ran through her long locks, brushing it all back with her fingers. "You can't convince me, what would? My room is up at the hotel to, would have to pay for another night. You aren't thinking about these things at all. You just want to cost me more money!" A finger landed on his nose, a little tap. A giggle left her lips.

David was also beginning to feel the effects of the alcohol. He hadn't consumed as much, but the scotch was more potent then her beers were. Even so, he was no lightweight, and still managed to keep some sense of his wits as they talked and drank together. His hand slid up from her knee to the base of her creamy thigh, and the feeling of her soft skin was divine against his finger tips.

"Then I'll buy you a new ticket." he said with a laugh. "Trust me, I can afford it. But enough of that. I won't persuade you, and I wont try. So how about we just have a good time tonight? Two single souls, just enjoying each other's company!" Grabbing his mostly empty glass, he raised it for a toast. "To chance meetings!"

His promise to her wasn't going to be easy to keep. He wanted her to stay, and already his analytical brain was contemplating and pondering ways to make that a reality.

"Whoa...whoa hold yourself..." she slurred as his hand went up from her knee towards her thigh. "A new ticket! You are crazy, this is just the drink talking now." Sipping her beer, Sammy then watched as he backed down a little, saying they should just have a good time and enjoy the night together.

"To chance meetings" Raising her bottle she clinked it with his glass in a toast before adding more liquor to her body.

The evening drew closer as did the night. The newly married couple had left, waved off by everyone who then returned to the venue to keep on getting drunk. Sammy was slumped on the bar giggling to herself because of the lightweight she was.

He pulled his hand back down just a tiny bit, but his fingers still managed to touch her thigh a bit. David was going to see where she'd stop him, and then go right to that point and stay there.

It was almost eleven by the time the part was wrapping up. David was feeling nearly drunk, but was still more cognizant then Sammy was. A thought had donned on him earlier that night, and he had decided to just go for it.

"Do you want to do something fun together before we part?" he asked. Grabbing her hand, he held it tight and kissed the back of her hand softly.

Other members of the party were leaving now, the vast space seemed to become more spacious. Sammy herself stood up off the bar stool and she took a few steps to compose her balance. "Oh my god I nearly fell over" she giggled holding on to his hand as he grabbed it. "Fun? What type of fun?" Watching him kiss the back of her hand, the blonde blushed.

"Im soooo hungry. We could get something to eat! Maybe that could be fun?"

Pulling away, her hand was still held by his. "Hey, let go" she giggled, finally managed to break free only to fall to the ground when she did. "Ow!" Sammy laughed, her legs open, showing him her panties which had little red polka dots on them.

Sammy was clearly drunk. There was no doubt in David's mind as he attempted to help her up. He was about to suggest a place to grab some late night food when she toppled over, giving him the view of a lifetime.

"Damn, I want some more of that." He thought to himself as he looked up her dress. But not wanting to leave her exposed, he helped her to her feat and held her steady. Being the more sober of the two.

"Sure thing, how about some burgers?" He suggest as an arm wrapped around her hip to hold her tight and stable as he guided her out of the ballroom and towards the street where they were soon in a cab.

"So did you enjoy yourself?" He asked casually as they were in the cab. "Still lamenting that you weren't the one getting married?"

Getting back up on to her heels, she leaned in to the man who now had her by her hip. "Burgers sound nice" Sammy admitted, just imagining the meal and how tasty it would be. She always did get a craving for greasy food when she was drunk. On to the street they went, the cool night air was a pleasant welcome, it picked up some of Sammy's blonde locks before leaving it to rest.

Once in the cab, she sat comfortable in the corner, head against the window with her eyes closed. "I had fun, it was a good time." A beaming smile ripped across her face before he mentioned marriage. "Well I will never get married, that is what I think" opening her eyes, she looked at the man before looking a little upset at him.

After telling the driver to take them to a decent burger place, David leaned back and slid over to Sammy.shock crossed his face as he realized he had inadvertently upset her. Trying to smooth things over he kissed the back of her hand and grinned. "Cheer up, you may find yourself hitched before you know if." He said with a warm smile as they were soon dropped off at a burger joint. Suddenly an idea hit him. Googling an address, he got the driver to go through the drive through window instead.

Paying for their food, he directed the cab driver to take them to another address. Biting down on his burger, he grinned at his blonde companion. "Let's have some fun tonight. " David smiled as the cab pulled up to a Vegas wedding chapel. Hoping out, David helped Sammy out and escorted her in.

"Let's get married. " he said with a grin, the alcohol in his system pushing this impulsiveness.
