Three days ago Jason Grave had been sitting in a cramped, un-air-conditioned office somewhere in midtown DC, reviewing information on local religious sects, trying to determine if any of them could prove to be occult threats to national security. Without warning he was jammed onto a red eye flight to Langley, given a briefing and an operations account with a figure that was more than he could ever imagine needing then packed onto another flight to a cluster of small islands making up a tropical resort in the Caribbean.

A hot breeze drifted through the open balcony door of the hotel suit, the curtains billowing out to dance to some unheard tune. Jason leaned against the railing of the balcony, looking out towards the setting sun, a cigarette teetering on the edge of his lip. He had arrived at the hotel to find the closet full of tailored suits, slacks and shirts, all of it far fancier than he was used to. The cigarette sailed from the balcony, a trail of smoke disappearing along with it. He turned on the heel of one shoe, stepping briskly back into the room. A folder sat on the low magony coffee table a long with leather shoulder holster rig, a well maintained .45 Colt nestled in it. Jason was in his early thirties with a dark hair slicked right back and steely grey eyes.

His fingers moved deftly, doing up the buttons of the white shirt he wore before sipping on a tie and shrugging on his holster before picking up a tailored jacket from the back of the couch, shrugging it on before stepping in front of a full length mirror and adjusting his holster to ensure the weapon was hidden then paused to shake a small charm bracelet loose around his wrist. He was to meet his contact, some agent the Brits had sent over. He slipped from his room and down to the elevator. The hotel bar was on the roof, an glass roofed structure with palm trees growing inside of it, small groves set up to provide privacy to the people mingling over drinks.

Jason took a seat at the bar, flagging down the bar man he ordered himself a scotch on the rocks and dug his cigarettes from inside his jacket, firing a fresh one with a faded old Zippo and settled in to await his contact.

Evanlyn wasn't given much information about her newest mission, partly because it was confidential even for her rank but also partly because the British didn't have the information for her. It was an American based mission and as such she was told that she would be briefed further when she met her partner on the other side of the world. Evanlyn was needed based on her skills and expertise, though skeptical due to the lack of intelligence, she trusted her superiors enough to fly off the next day.

The clear skies and tropical atmosphere of the resort surprised Evanlyn when she arrived. Used to the gloomy, grey weather back home, she felt as if she were on holiday. The service and treatment of the hotel were as expected, with both expensive dresses for fancy dinner parties and leather suits for more covert operations. She had until the evening to meet her contact and used the time to try out some of the dresses. Evanlyn played around with the combinations of dresses, high heels and boots at her disposal until she found a simple but elegant black dress that came up to the middle of her thighs. The black dress complimented her long blonde hair, which she kept straightened instead of the popular fashion of curly hair. The dress was short enough to reveal much of her body but not skimpy to the point of looking like a slut. Keeping to the simple but elegant theme she also chose a pair of small black heels to go with the dress.

She didn't put on much make-up, only the bare essentials before heading to the bar. She also chose not to take any weapons with her save for a small knife in her purse. On the roof she managed to catch a glimpse of the Sun before it moved below the horizon and moved towards the bar. There she found a man who fit the descriptions she had been given and sat in an empty seat next to him. She ordered a pint of lager, enjoying the slightly confused look the barman gave her. Evanlyn watched the man sitting beside her and greeted him. "You must be Jason, I'm Evanlyn."

Jason felt the presence of the woman before he saw her, the hairs on the back of his neck standing straight up and the charm bracelet around his wrist sending a shock up his arm that left his skin tingling, a sign that she was something other than what she seemed. He kept his eyes forward, watching the mirrored wall behind the bar. He could see she was drawing attention, stares from most men in the room and a few of the women, eyes glazed over as if under some hypnotic spell. His .45 stirred under his jacket and he reached slowly for it, undoing the safety catch before returning his hand to his drink.

The smoke from his cigarette trailed upwards, twisting around the blades over the over head fan that did little to dispel the evening warmth. As she sat down beside him he felt a wave of something hit him and he tugged slightly at his shirts collar, as if the temperature had suddenly gone up several more degrees and the tingling in his arm intensified and he found himself fighting back the urge to bend her over the bar and take her right there in front of everyone. He slugged back the rest of his drink and settled his hands across the bar top, fingers tugging at the bracelet and forcing himself to focus on one of the bottles on the glass shelf in front of him. He waited until after the barman had severed her and departed until he spoke, "Well, its nice to see our friends across the pond decided to send someone who doesn't waste time getting down to business."

Evanlyn smiled as they spoke, she noticed his obvious discomfort around her and only leaned in closer to him to increase it. She played with her hair, twirling it around her fingers and replied, "I was told you were going to brief me about this mission in more detail. Just so you know, I don't know what we have to do or why I was sent, just that my expertise were needed." she didn't want to play around the bar for hours teasing this man. As nice as the tropical atmosphere is, she was flown here on a day's notice and not in the mood to waste time on silly foreplay with the American.

She watched him closely and deduced before he spoke that he was more likely to be her partner than an informant. The way he dressed and acted told her that he was an agent like her, but his small movements which showed his discomfort also revealed his lack of experience. She unconsciously licked her lips at the prospect of working with him, thinking of the fun she could have teasing and playing with him. Very few men were able to resist her charm, which is what lead to her mostly working alone. Maybe she shouldn't be in such a professional mood and in such a rush to get down to business, maybe she should have some fun, maybe later.

Her warm breath spilled across Jason's skin, images of naked, sweaty heaving flesh twisting and writhing in pleasure filled his head as the the woman spoke. He could feel a flush creeping up his neck, he reached up and loosened his tie. What the hell was going on, who was the woman and why was she setting off his defensive wards. When she mentioned a briefing he glanced quickly around the bar. The place was heavily populated. They needed to find somewhere to get away from prying eyes so they wouldn't be compromised. He flagged the barman down and got a refill on his drink which promptly vanished just as his previous one had.

Damnit, why was he having so much trouble focusing on the task at hand. She was asking for a briefing the most logical thing to do would be to take her back to his room, show her the files, well, the ones he was cleared to show her at least, and take it from there. He was still waiting to hear from the support team that had been sent up from Arkham.

The charm barclet was starting to burn a violent warning into his skin but he pushed it aside, "Not here," he replied, snubbing his cigarette in the bartop ashtray, and pushing away from the bar, suddenly becoming aware of the erection straining against his slacks and praying no one noticed it, "I've got all the files locked in the safe up in too!. We can talk there privitly."

In Evanlyn's eyes, him loosening his tie and slight lack of concentration in their conversation screamed that he was still a rookie. Any veteran of the scene should be able to resist her charm, as enemy femme fatales were one of them top reasons for deaths of male undercover agents. He would have to learn if he wanted to survive in the thick of the current espionage war. Maybe he was doing this on purpose to test her, but still the signs were too natural. Evanlyn came to the conclusion he was genuinely attracted by her and not pretending to be, but kept her guard up nonetheless.

She waited patiently for him to get another drink, coughing softly once he finished as he still seemed preoccupied in his own thoughts. It made sense to talk privately about sensitive information like this, but Evanlyn sensed there was something more behind this.

Regardless, it would be weird to say no so Evanlyn went along with it, "Let's go then." she replied and got up from her seat, half a pint of the lager she ordered unfinished.

There had been silence throughout their trip back up to his room. Jason caught site of his reflection in the mirrored walls of the elevator, noticing the deep red flush that had crept its way up his neck and into his face. What the hell was wrong with him? There was no denying the woman with him was attractive. There was something almost unnatural about her beauty and he had to wonder if maybe before they got into anymore business if she'd slip out of that dress and they could have themselves some fun before business needed to get in the way.....

No, no what was he thinking, he was here to do a job, not make hanky panky with agents from other agencies. What had gotten into him?

The elevator chimed and he lead her out onto his floor, fumbling his room key from his jacket pocket, missing the lock several times before managing to get the key in and the door open. Protective wards had been placed on the room, standard operating procedure for field operatives. Simple protective charms that could cripple an intruder both human and non, and once through the door his head cleared, the layers of protective spells filtering out whatever had been playing with his head and leaving him feeling more clear and level headed. Clear and level headed enough to feel threatened by this woman and his hand slid slowly his jacket to grasp at his side arm.

A small smile crept onto Evanlyn's face as she followed Jason to his room, she had been through the same scene countless times. A bit of drinking at the bar as she seduced her target, which lead to them going into a room in private where she would extract information from them with any means necessary. More often than not, a bit of heavy kissing and touching wasn't enough, which is when she would have to restrain them, or just hold them at gunpoint. That usually works. Normally there would be a lot more intimate action in the elevator, but the American across from her is supposed to be an ally. Still, that has never stopped her from seducing a fellow agent for a one night stand.

Evanlyn blinked out of her thoughts when the elevator stopped and the doors opened. There had been silence the whole way. Maybe it was an awkward silence for him, but for her it again confirmed her thoughts about who he was. She waited silently as he fumbled his keys. She looked down the hall and saw no one around, the fumbled keys again a familiar scene whenever she seduced men back to their rooms.

Finally they entered his room, nothing seemed out of the ordinary as she followed him in. "So... do you want to tell me what the mission is?" Evanlyn paused, "Or did you have something else in mind?"
