Hey, I’m Jovialtraveler. I’m a male in real life, if that matters at all, and am fairly new to “serious” roleplay. For the longest time, the most I could manage was a decent paragraph. I’m looking to change that.
So what am I looking for? Well, 1-3 paragraphs per post (shorter, snappier posts if it gets smutty, but at least three or four sentences, preferably a paragraph), with an experienced partner who isn’t afraid to dish out constructive criticism. I’d like at least one post every week or so, but more is certainly preferred. I enjoy RP on discord (my ID is JovialTraveler#0878), and PMs/Conversations on here.
I’m looking for a long-term rp, where, while we do have our own characters that we focus on, we both chip in to play background characters. Romance elements are nice, but not necessary.
What Genres do I like?
Well, urban fantasy is fun, as is dungeonpunk/arcanapunk.
Sci-fi, either near future or far future, is also rad.
But what about a realistic (or mostly realistic) world? Well that’s cool too.
How I like to handle character appearance: Honestly do what you like. A real life faceclaim? As long as they’re over eighteen. A character from a movie/game/book you like the look of? Sure. A paragraph or so of description? Hell yes.
Ideas to help get you started:

(Note: Nothing is set in stone aside from the “No”s. And the “No”s are only unacceptable during smut. If it’s a fantasy world, and swords are swinging around, someone is gonna wind up needing patching up or dead, otherwise it’s immersion breaking.) F-list - Warning

And yes?: “Could be nice, and You don’t need to ask to include it.”
Maybe?: Ask first. I’m not going to make it the focus of a scene, or I haven’t tried it yet/not sure how I feel about it. I’ll probably say yes though.
No?: NO! At least not during a smut scene. I don’t enjoy those themes in a sexual way, but if it’s needed for a non sexual scene (zombie apocalypse, ghouls, cannibal hillbilly with a hook for a hand and a chaninsaw pegleg, etc.) then they can be included.
