Cameron Harrison and Benjamin Forbes
Two names that, by all means, shouldn't have met at all. But by coincidence, they found themselves close neighbors in an inner city apartment complex. Benjamin was a recent college senior, studying engineering with a minor in political philosophy. Having been estranged from his family along the west coast of the US, Ben decided to fly as far from them as possible once he was accepted into university. The first two years were on campus, and his third year he moved into an apartment a couple blocks away. However, an unfortunate fire set off in the complex made Ben have to move again, this time even further from campus. But, he found it to be a small blessing in disguise, because as he was moving his stuff into his new place, he bumped into Cameron. Literally.
He was waiting for the building elevator to come down, she was inside it. When she turned the corner upon the door opening, her shoulder clipped a box, and out fell most of Ben's things. Nothing important, just an assortment of books and blurays. And upon picking up everything, Cameron offered to help. From there, they introduced themselves, and a small friendship blossomed from there. It had been three months since that incident, and Cameron had invited Cameron to lunch to exchange a book he had in his possession. He enjoyed her company. Even when she knocked his stuff over, he couldn't help but give her a gentle smile in response and call it 'no big deal.'
of course, Ben finding a small romantic interest in her helped matters. Along with her stunning looks. They decided to meet up at a local cafe a few blocks down from their apartments. Ben waited for her around the corner of the front door, in a corner booth that faced the sidewalk. He wore a small pair of glasses, and dressed himself in a Burgundy red sweater with blue jeans. He was reading through some news on his phone while enjoying a small cup of coffee.
