"Big Rock National Park is no stranger to prehistoric wildlife living within its borders. You may remember the 'Battle at Big Rock', where a family of Nasutoceratops fought a hungry Allosaurus in a campground. While most of the dinosaurs known to live in the park are herbivorous--such as Ankylosaurus--or harmless to humans under most circumstances--like Compsognathus--recent reports from Big Rock suggest that a dangerous new species has made its way to the national park: Velociraptors.

"These are intelligent, territorial dinosaurs, and there are records that they may sometimes view humans as either food or competition. Any and all visitors to Big Rock are strongly encouraged to bring Dino Spray, as well as avoid areas that raptors have been near."

Six years ago, in 2018, dinosaurs from Isla Nublar were transported to California, where they escaped into the wild. While the outbreak by itself could have been contained and controlled, human greed caused the creatures (and the technology that created them) to proliferate across the planet. Companies began creating their own dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures, while specimens from Isla Sorna and the other Five Deaths became hot commodities to sell on the black market. In this dangerous new world, humans and dinosaurs must learn to coexist.

But that's irrelevant to you. After all, you're a Velociraptor.

The humans will do as they please, and it's in your best interest to avoid them whenever possible. But that's not always possible. They're everywhere, always encroaching further and further into the wilderness for one reason or another. And for some reason, there are many humans that seem drawn to you and your kind. Regardless of whether or not their intentions are good or bad, they present a threat.

The only question is, how are you going to respond to it?

First and foremost, this RP is intended to be non-erotic.

This is a RP I tried pitching in 2022 (and forgot about) that unfortunately had no takers. The basic premise is simple: a RP set in the Jurassic Park/World universe centered around Velociraptors. In terms of writing, it would take cues from the novel 'Raptor Red', as well as one particular roleplay on Jurassic Park Legacy known as "Live the Legend". In the Jurassic canon, Velociraptors are shown to be incredibly intelligent, with distinct personalities and the ability to operate on intelligent thought instead of pure instinct. However, the way you'd explore the world around you in the RP would be like an animal. What do you see? What do you hear? What do you smell? How do you fit into the pecking order of the pack? Do you need to worry about competition for food and territory? And if you do, how will you react to this competition?

While three distinct varieties of Velociraptor will be initially available, hybrids of these variants and new varieties might be available down the line depending on how much interest there is. I plan on working on a full field guide for species in Big Rock National Park, and including a particular character (a large predator) as a tool for culling characters of players who break rules or no longer wish to be a part of the RP.
