What do you think of the rumor of black protagonist in Assassins Creed Red

I personally don’t like it. The era in Japan they’re looking at is extremely isolationist. Yes Yasuke exsisted, but he wasn’t some hero, he was essentially a curio to Oda. I also don’t like that they’re writing out a potential Asian male lead.

I see it as an absolute win; more AC, in a time period people have requested forever, and continuing to add diverse main characters to the franchise. I can only hope the story is as good as Origins; Odyssey and Valhalla didn't measure up, even if their gameplay mechanics were technically better.
