The cave was not small but neither was it too big. It was mostly hidden by foliage and the easiest way in or out of the cave was under the water. Seaweed washed up in here usually and it was in one of these piles of seaweed that a true treasure laid. No gold or jewels could match the value of this treasure, this treasure was a child. The child was sleeping, wrapped snuggle in the seaweed, half in and half out of the water. Occasionally it would wash over the baby but it was perfect for the kind of child that it was. It was a mer child. That was right, instead of legs the child had fins and right now the child was crying.

It was, as babies usually get, hungry. The mother was off getting food, unable to take the baby anywhere too deep while it was so small and since it was so young it still needed some air and water, the reason the water washing over her was perfect. However figuring out if it was a him or her would be difficult to tell considering the scales of the tail went up too high.

The child was wrapped with care, as a mother would wrap a child in a blanket the child was wrapped tenderly in the seaweed, keeping the baby warm and the seaweed around it kept it safe. To anyone that passed a sleeping child it would be silent and it would be unable to be seen so no one would even notice it there... considering anyone even went in the cave. Since no one went in there it was the perfect place for the woman to hide her child. However it seemed that someone had woken the child who was now crying for the arms and milk of its mother.

The beach was very big. Golden sand and seasheels dotted the landscape. Piles of seaweed brushed against the sand near the water as the waves came in and out of the beach. Every few seconds new waves would come and go. To a person walking along the shore it was quite relaxing.

Chris Evans was 21 and single and hated being single. His brown hair and blue eyes shone in the sun. It was a warm June day so he was wearing a blue T-shirt with a pair of light brown shorts. He hadn't been to the beach in over 2 years. The last time he had gone was with his late wife. They had spent the day at this particular beach. Heading back to the past he cried softly. Soon he set his wallet and keys down near his umbrella that he set up and went out to the water. Once in the water he started to swim. Soon he found a cave and started to explore it. Finding nothing in it he went back to the beach and started to go for a walk.

Currently, he walked the beach looking for sea shells. Soon he found a large sea shell and picked it up and was about to head back to his spot on the shore when he found a pile of seaweed. Looking closer he noticed something in the seaweed looked to see what it was. Suddenly he saw movement and decided to run to the nearest lifeguard tower to call for help.
